Most comments talk about the differences for those who lose their minds and those who don't, but it seems most miss the answer in the video. Even the video misses it, lol. It mentions it, then goes on to explore other ideas, such as potency, and contaminants, but the mind fck comes from the SLEEP DEPRIVATION. I feel like that's enough said, as it speaks for itself. Sleep deprivation is this underlying, ignored condition, that, really, is toxic to our health more than almost any drug, food, trauma... BECAUSE of the mind, it is what the mind needs to function smoothly, just like the body needs food to go, and rest, to rejuvenate, the mind needs to turn off, to reorder, process, and store information. REM, and dream state are crucial to a healthy mind.
I have had a theory for awhile which I've resisted sharing online, because I used to share everything openly, and I believe many of my ideas are claimed by researchers. There obviously is a philosophy and collateral decisions behind both sharing, and not, that I won't get into, but, I'll share my relevant theory here, in hopes it helps someone, maybe an entire nation, or planet. I say this, because the theory is about a national problem currently being faced by the people of Russia. Specifically that they have an outlier statistic on early death, and injury rates for men. They also have the longest work week, and cultural ethic of working as hard as they can take, sacrificial lamb kind of thing. They have all kinds of strange accidents in higher numbers, like stepping off subway platforms, driving off road, etc. which, the latter, is directly related to sleep, which indeed, is the theory, obvious by now. They don't sleep as much. I believe the stat I heard was just under 6 hour average. There is someone in the media lately talking about the criticalness of 8 hours, and backed with science of course about the detrimental effects. The catch phrase/message I picked up was, 'The human brain simply cannot function at full capacity on less than 8 hours, whether you really are Superman or not, so don't tell me you do just fine.'. So, ya, I think Russia needs to get more sleep, that is my theory about their problem. The last guy I watched talk about it, seemed to be the czar of the research on the problem, or should I say, Tsar, lol, and it wasn't on his radar. Seems obvious.
Same with addicts. Learn to do it with in a normal day, GET YOUR SLEEP. Wake up and eat and clean, and go breath some air and say hi to someone, then get high if you have to, set a bed time and stick to it, take your last hit hours before bedtime. If you're high all the time there is no difference, you're high all the time just manage it better. Sleeping is just as peaceful as high, and then you need less and spend less, and it becomes easier to imagine quitting, etc. etc. get your SLEEP!
    Peace

*just as I was finishing, your video links came up at the end. 1 being about REM sleep :) This is how the universe both, tells me I am right about the theory, and also that I was right to share it. Well established communication between us, by now.... ;)

OUTSTANDING!!! Thank you very much for saying (in a more articulate way) the same thing I've been telling users for years. I've been on for thirty years myself and I noticed if you try to argue on PewTube, that DEA propaganda does not dictate the reality of all drug users day to day habits/lives, without having to say fuck it I'm not going to argue with know it all moral superiority types that can't be reasoned with. But you are absolutely correct on how this and probably 99% of information on this subject is lacking in the most basic subjects related to it. Have a great day, I'm glad I saw your post!

I totally agree, sleep is vital to good mental health. There was a study done years ago that showed sleep deprivation slows one's reflexes to the equivalent of having ,like, 3 drinks. It's very dangerous, especially when it goes on for days, weeks, and years. Scary stuff.

Celebrated 3 years clean this last December. I was an IV user and towards the end of my active addiction I would mix fentanyl and meth. It was a wild ride that I’m blessed to of come off of. Did a little prison time and met an amazing woman who gives me a reason to stay clean and learn a new way of living. I’ve regained my hobbies and family and friends. I was as bad as bad gets. I wouldn’t wish addiction on my worse enemy. My heart goes out to all those who are still suffering. There is a better way of life waiting on you when you’re ready.

I wonder if the mental conditions occur in just certain individuals? Maybe it does something to their brain and not others...? I'm pondering this, because I have been using meth daily for twenty-five years and outside of staying up too many nights and doing a little too much at a time, I have not experienced this mental psychosis. I am able to work...BUT I believe it IS the main contributor to my health problems. I don't like the new meth (it doesn't even qualify to be called meth, if you ask me...) The ephedrine meth seemed like it didn't hurt my body as much...although I know that none of it is healthy. I never thought I would be doing this at the age of 60, but my fear of not being able to get out of bed and function...is what keeps me from seeking help to get off of it. I envy those who have been successful at breaking their chains and who are now free, of their own prison. But at the same time...I am elated for them...! If you've never done it....DON'T! Don't get me wrong...it does have it's qualities...but until it can be used as a medication (like I do it just once daily...) the negative overrides the positive usually. Please don't hate on me...it was hard enough to even share my thoughts. thank you....

Those who chose to judge haven't understood the real value of life. Ask them this simple question " Tell me how you do you do it? How can you ( them) be so perfect in an imperfect world??".
No one is without error. Mistakes, wrong choices, are just lessons in life. Lest us not be critical of others but be compassionate to thier choices they make in life. Love yourself! Live your life with vigor. Or my last comment to those 'perfect' souls...MYOFB!

Just like everything else, drugs have been watered down and made to be less enjoyable. I had my run with methamphetamine. The person who introduced it to me was a friend of my father's, and when I moved to Oklahoma City I fell in bad. Moved back up north, and I realized just how prevalent it is anywhere you go. This year will mark 5 years since I have touched the stuff. It's FAR from easy, and I hope anyone struggling with addiction finds the courage and willpower to stop! ❤️

When I was using around 99-05 I’ve seen it transform from “crank” to “glass”. The guy I got it from told me that the glass would put everything else I’ve done to shame I thought it was a used car salesman pitch. I hit the “glass” and no shit, I literally felt like a friggin battery. The sexual energy was off the charts and a small amount would burn forever. I think it was around 2004 I started hearing through the grapevine that the precursor chemicals were being banned, shortly after the quality dropped. I was literally crying while smoking, nothing was working anymore. Those were dismal times. Luckily, this was the impetus that lead me to sobriety. I dabbled here and there right up to 07 and nothing ever came close to the “glass” years…I don’t intend on ever trying to find out again. This was one hell of a monkey to get off my back.

Me and my first wife went through an ugly divorce about 9 years ago and somewhere along the line she got on drugs, allowing me custody of our 2 kids. We hated one another for years after that and then the summer of 2020 she called me out of the blue to apologize for her part of what happened between us and I did as well. It made me happy because I never wanted to hate her anyways. She overdosed and died 2 weeks before Christmas that year and now I often feel like all the memories I made over the years with her was just me all alone by myself.

2014, you nailed it. I lived in the SF Tenderloin from 2011-2018 and noticed this same change on the streets. Right around 2014 we started to notice that the usual crack users were now using meth. For the longest time in California.. meth was always considered "the white man's drug" opposite to crack which was mostly being used on the streets by the black population. Before 2014 you just didn't see the black folks tweaking. This all changed in 2014. Crack was still around, but everyone on the streets seemed to be doing meth regardless of race. I asked a couple of users about it, and I got the same answer every time.. "More bang for the buck". The meth suddenly became insanely cheap, and it was everywhere... Along with the switch came the instances of psychosis. Seeing barely clothed individuals picking through the cracks of the sidewalks at hours of the day and night was a normal sight.. and it was like zombie invasion had hit the neighborhood. It was one of those things where you just said to yourself... "huh? This doesn't make sense." Now it does! Great to know the backstory and causation of what I witnessed first hand.

@Tomas Garcia actually, it’s not exact. I’ve been in the game since the early ‘90s back when we called it crank (yellow, hard as diamond) made out in Cali by the bikers that was top shelf quality product. Nothing since has compared. A key bump at 7 AM and you’d need sleeping aids that night but most likely you’re gonna lay there eyes wide open staring at the ceiling til the alarm goes off the next morning. Then everything shifted in the late ‘90s to anni-dope, the right chef-boy-r-dee and you’d stayed blowed away for weeks. The mid-late ‘00s the laws tightened up when the ICE so potent it’d make your muscles ache being so tensed up, I hated it and went on hiatus for about 12 years. Now to this shit on the video, hit or miss whether it’s worth a damn but even todays best batch compares in no way to the good old days. It stinks, quality reliability sucks, and the high ain’t worth a f*ck. As for availability, saturation but known to ebb and flow at times with a pretty much guaranteed dry patch in August unless ya know the right people. But Heroin, well wait a minute, I should say elephant tranquilizer is everywhere and pulling a helluva lot more cards than meth. There’s no comparison. The government cut all these folks off and threw them to the wolves with no help. The government’s solution has only caused more deaths and devastation. Come to think of it, probably has worked exactly as designed from their perspective. Anyways, I disagree with this guy’s assessment that todays “new shit” outranks the old. Folks don’t even tweak, geek or pilfer like they used to. However, I do agree it’s a struggle damn near impossible to focus or get anything done like ya could get accomplished on the “old” stuff. Have a good one… ✌️

Sorry 4 your loss. I know a few youngsters who died from meth-related complications too. It's terrible in the Ozarks & Bible Belt... really anywhere West of like Ohio. Crack was seen as the inner city Black drug plague; meth and opioids are the rural white man's scourge. All hard drugs find inroads in impoverished communities where jobs & opportunities are scarce. There's no simple solution but legalizing adult use, regulating the drug supply for purity & providing practical harm reduction education would go a long way toward stopping the rampant overdose & addiction issue. Those who want treatment should have immediate access that doesn't cost thousands or hundreds of thousands. But until good-paying jobs & *hope* return to our communities, I fear this will be an ongoing trend.

ALL addiction is about pain. The pain caused by a trauma, which is subsequently buried, by escaping into addiction, numbness. You don't forget it, but everything is more tolerable when high. It also takes the focus off the shame of whatever the trauma was, and takes control over what one is shamed for. 'Good shame me for being a drug addict, that means you won't be judging me for the terrible event, I could not control, and am embarrassed about, and can't let anyone ever find out. They suffer alone, out of shame, when their entire understanding of life was derailed by a traumatic event, and just getting a tiny bit of help, early on, close to the event itself, from the right person.
We all know this. If someone is violated, and they report it, charge back at their violater, they get readjusted a great deal, right there. Where as if someone bottles it up, tells no one, they will slowly start descending into a shell of their potential.
No one is addicted to a drug, they are addicted to pain relief. Most of us have been there too, but not for psycho-spiritual pain, rather, for physical pain. Maybe an operation, or something, when recovering, it is more and more difficult as time passes, to not hit that nurse button, lol.
Pain tells it's host, it is approaching death, so start correcting. Th Matrix - the body can only percieve so much pain, until it taps out,, real pain or not.
Life, all life, evolution, it is not driven by survival, it is about managing comfort.
      Peace
      I'm on fire tonight! lol

This drug has killed my living wife from the inside out. Sczophrania, delusions. So sad. Never seen anything like it. A beautiful women, just mentally empty.
Here is just a sampling of what i have dealt with: Im accused of and told all the time: cheater, thief, old man, selfish, buried in the bac yard, having people live in the basement or attic, had next door neighbor college girls in the house to screw them, thought they were stealing her cloths, or wearing them, thought they were harassing us at night, thought they were climbing the outside walls to get in, everytime i washed the dishes she thought i was 'signaling' or talking to them, hears voices from any running appliance, thought she was hypnotized, thinks drones are following her or watching her, thinks the new neighbor lady, 75 yrs old, is screwing me, let someone rape her, film her using a toilet or having sex and selling the videos, molesting our son, molesting her sons, trying to kill her, fucking my exwife. Threatened to kill me, wished I was dead, claimed i killed someone,
Everyday she manages to beat me down. And a couple times literlly did. I was pretty bloodied up. She called the popo and they wanted to arrest her. Shes managed to delete a ton of my pictures from my phone. Sent f-ed up messages to people on my phone.
I payed about $7000 for a 10 day trip to Cancun, Cazumel, and Chitzanitza Mexico. It should have been fantastic. I've been there before. She went to a local hotel and refused to go. 3 nights in a row i bought new airline tickets hoping....didnt happen. I was so amped. Lost about $6000. She thought i was someone else and thought i was going to kill her.
This shit destroys your natural seretonin. Any laps turns into an unmanageable human. It has destroyed our relationship beyond my imagination. In my 60's, I've take full care of our 4 year old son. I have grandchildren twice his age. I wont give up on her but my focus will be on our son. This story is right on the mark.

I had a wife like that. She started out with a good heart and turned into something/someone unrecognizable. She wound up setting me up with a meth lab and I still to this day don't know what all was in the cooler that was taken from our house. I plead guilty to it because I was not going to let her get charged for it. At the time I had just gotten home and didn't even go in before I left to go to the hospital to see her because she called an ambulance thinking she was going to die and I was arrested several blocks away from the house for driving on revoked. That's when they said that they were doing a search warrant for the house. I didn't know what all was in the house other than stuff for smoking pot and some of the pharmaceutical bottles she had since before we had got together. I took the case and was sentenced to 9 years in the department of corrections. Wound up doing 7 years on my bit because I was refusing to go to see the parole board. That's because I was waiting for the divorce to go through. I'd do the time again to have that hell come to an end. She is doing a lot better now but she always looks like she is afraid that something is going to jump out at her. I'll always miss the woman that she was before.

Like the rest of the world and like this video tells my town also fell victim to the Opiate craze. 1st Oxy, then Heroin. Meth was also everywhere. It wasn't the normal for so much meth to be on my streets. I got lucky and finally moved to another city for a few years wich no doubt saved my life. After that one after another people I know whom didn't have mental heath issues before were literally 100% loosing their minds. I've had several conversations with friends that stayed behind trying to figure out what the ones who went mental were consuming. Everyone was so hooked on pills and heroin/opiates I figured they were taking multiple random pills or synthetic substances from smoke shops that eventually broke theirs minds. Now I see the real problem. Drugs are very bad and always have been. Now a days there's no words to describe what these drugs have turned into. If the drugs don't take your life, they'll settle for your soul and completely destroy what's left of your consciousness. For anybody out there fighting for their lives its not going to be easy, it all comes down to how bad you truly want to live.

When I was at the point (pun totally not intended) of my heaviest heroin/meth use what I noticed with two of my friends who consumed about the same daily quantities I did was it was absolutely no question the addition of benzos to the mix, usually Xanax, that almost instantly made my one friend the most paranoid insufferable manic belligerent hostile dude I’d ever been around and my other friend start hallucinating that there were “alien drones outside the window” and other unintelligible things plus heavy paranoia... I always considered myself kinda lucky after witnessing those two’s behavior that at least I had always totally hated the way benzos made me feel -like an absolute zombie or I’m sure I woulda wigged out too.. Just another example that every single one of us is totally unique, has our own body chemistry, metabolism, etc and processes/feels/reacts to what we put in our bodies in our own way... Makes me wonder what the percentage of those who "lose their shit” on meth are also ingesting other things at the same time...

@Robin Hamilton I think about situations like the one your in and how a whole family can be completely torn apart from one person's drug addiction. I once had someone ask me how I was able to stop using. His son was struggling with drugs and it was taking its toll on his family. All I could tell him was that his son has to want to stop using. And even after that it's still an everyday battle. I hope everything works out for you and your family. Remember your not the only ones in this situation. And everyday addicts decide they've had enough and start taking steps towards their recovery. Good luck to you. There's some good programs now a days. Most take access or are free if the person is actively using or last use withing a year. Although none are a gareanteed cure they do help.

There is a policy of not wanting to label homeless as drug addicts! Are you kidding me. That's the most B.S. statement I have ever herd! That is all public officials and the media try to project homeless people as! The problem in California is not that meth causes homelessness. It's a response to being homeless and dealing with the psychological impact of that! The reason for homelessness in California has to do with the fact that you can work 40 hours a week and not even make enough to cover your rent! The wealthy land owners in the state are the reason their are so many homeless! Eviction rates are insane there! The reason being that it's the only time they can raise your rent! So they will evict people for any reason possible. Then they can raise the rent for the new Tennant's.After they have been their a year then they start looking for a reason to evict them! A recent studied said to rent a one bedroom apt in San Diego you needed to make approx 30 dollars an hour to live comfortably and pay your bills. But up until the recent min wage hike. Most people were getting paid between 10 to 12 dollars an hour. By the same people that they were renting from. That is the cause of homelessness in California! But the powers that be don't want the general population to understand the truth about why people are homeless. So they do nothing but push the idea that all people that are homeless are that way because of meth or mental health issues. It's unfortunate that this individual did a good job with his research about the meth operations. But instead of looking into the real causes of homelessness. He just parrioted the same B.S. lie that the policy makers have been feeding the public for years. So no money has to be spent on solving the homeless problem they created. Instead they can keep funneling their money into law enforcement to attack and harass the homeless population.Because if people really understood the real reason for homelessness! It would cut into their pocketbooks. Then the party would be over and they would be forced to pay to fix the problem they created. In their endless attempt to create more personal wealth at the expense of their fellow man.Meth is not the cause of homelessness. It,s a product of being homeless and dealing with the pain of it.I am in no way condoning the use of this drug. It takes a terrible tole and makes a horrible impact on people. My issues is with the way it is being scapegoated as the reason we have a homeless problem. To cover the real reason that the homelessness rate is increasing. Low wages lack of affordable housing. City council's limiting building permits to keep the demand for real estate artificially inflated to protect people's investments. This problem has been building up since the 80,s. It's just finally coming to a head and more noticeable to the general population. So the powers that be have created their new Reefer Madness paranoia to cover the real reasons people are becoming homeless in record numbers!

As someone who has lived with meth since 1985, I can tell you that this is the most accurate, informative, and complete accounting of the meth epidemic and of the consequences of meth use that I have ever heard. Bravo to the person that created it. To everyone dealing with a meth addiction, take heed! This new recipe is relentless.
One part that was overlooked is the uncurable parasitic infestations that the new meth breeds on its users. The medical community in Los Angeles has found a convenient blanket diagnosis of delusional parasitosis to hide behind, rather than address the issue. People are being eaten alive by some unknown, invisible parasite. The symptoms are inflamed by meth use and the filthy conditions on the street. Thats why people are hiding. There is a modern day leprosy loose and the homeless have to hide in shame from the horrible condition.

Huge upvote. I just need to point out that d-methamphetamine, regardless of how it is produced, is still d-methamphetamine. Except that the molecules are mirror images of each other, they are the same chemical. Only the methods of synthesizing it can differ. If P2P meth is causing problems that meth derived from ephedrine does not, then the latter must contain things other than meth. Find out what those contaminants are and how to avoid contaminating the product with them, and we will return to a pre-P2P era. This should not be impossible. Analytical chemists can use their particular instruments on mixtures to identify their components. I find it hard to believe that this has not yet been done. There's no great mystery here. Why isn't it reported?

What the kids are doing is becoming amateur chemists. They'll use reagents to test their drugs and even use acetone and 99% isopropyl alcohol to clean the product. Not the worst harm reduction model I guess. Remember too that methamphetamine is legal with a prescription for treatment resistant ADHD and obesity, pure pharma meth named Desoxyn. One of the biggest problems with illegal drugs like people are saying, is the impurities and adulterants. There was this same problem during prohibition, bathtub gin and shitty moonshine that was killing people. The government actually poisoned and murdered 10,000 people by adding dangerous adulterants into alcohol. I've done pretty pure meth and shitty meth. Purer meth felt clean and almost like MDMA with a more natural euphoria. Shake and bake crank still has a high but is terrible for your teeth and mental health. Had many an experience with the shadow people. Ending drug prohibition is the first place to start. Legalization would at least starve the cartels. People though legalizing cannabis would be a disaster and in reality it could not have gone more smoothly. Just food for thought.

What politicians pass are not laws it's called acts or statutes. With that saying when police arrest you for drugs they need consent. What many people don't know is that they inadvertently gave consent. How do you consent? America was founded on Common Law but the courts are really using the law of the seas Maritime Law on us in court. On water you don't have any rights you have liberties and the captain is the King. Your birth certificate made you a corporation that's why your name is written in all capitol letters. We are really flesh and blood men and women subject to Common Law. Admiralty Courts don't have jurisdiction over flesh and blood men and women. What gives Admiralty Courts jurisdiction is when we agree to be that corporate fiction all caps name on your birth certificate and driver's license. I am not EARL SCIAMBRA JR. I am Earl from the Sciambra family. If you get arrested do not agree to be the all caps name. Do not sign any papers. Do not plead guilty or not guilty simply say you don't consent. Don't hire an attorney. And always answer the judge because silence is consent. If you do this for a non common law offense like drugs they will let you out of jail between 24 hrs to 3 days by law. By the way next time you are in a courtroom look at the American flag. The flag has a gold fringe around it meaning it is a Admiralty or Maritime Court. The Maritime courts are really controlled by the Vatican which is also called the holy see or sea. Judges are not really judges they are adMINISTERS aka administrators and are ecclesiastical that's why they wear robes like priests and are able to marry people. Judges are in the cult of Saturn or Satan and don't care about justice they are just doing business. The court is also called the bench which means bank. The judge is the banker doing business. If you are an American Citizen with a birth certificate you are a stockholder in the USA INC. When you are given a birth certificate the Vatican makes out a bond in your name that is a mutual fund traded on wall Street. All of your royalties go into that account. When a court fines you they get the money from you and they double dip into your secret trust fund that you don't know you have. When you buy a house and get a load from the bank where does the money you borrow come from? Not the bank, it comes from your own trust fund. Google it. Plus when America went off of the gold standard there isn't any real money anymore it fiat federal reserve notes. When they did that they had to have a remedy since there is no real money. Everything is supposed to be paid for us just like in a communist nation. But the system lied to us and this is why they control everything including the media so we don't find these truths out. You can actually buy a house quit paying the notes and not get repossessed if you know how to do the paperwork. Sorry for the ramble...

Nice to see a fellow prepper sharing truth. I saw in your video list Edgemoor hospital Santee. About 14 years ago I was one of the tweekers running around east county San Diego mostly El Cajon and Santee today I'm a pastor and foster parent. When I look back and tract my use and relapses over the years they coincide with ephedrine based meth being on the street. I quit everytime p2p came around. Being from San Diego it was plentiful. When you knew the right people you got the glass. Thanks to God I'm clean today along with almost everyone I ran with.

I thought it made me better, more productive, more creative, funnier, smarter, etc. It does the opposite of anything good you believe you're getting. It's difficult to get help, especially in a world that makes you feel like a villain for needing it, but if it has its claws in you, find good people that will help. They're out there, you just have to put the pipe down and find them. Be happy. You can do it. I know you're strong, may your journey be long.

So what method is used to make adderall? I know it is amphetamine, not methamphetamine, but it is racimic like the P2P meth as well.
I did much much ephedrine Meth in the 1990's , quit, and did not touch it for 20years. I stupidly started fucking with it recently like 4 years ago. It is not nearly the same. And that is probably really good for society. This stuff can be slept on, eaten on, and doesn't cause much psychosis. However what if does do, to me, is if I run out, rare because a quarter of a pound lasts for several months, and costs $500. Probably less for people in the loop. But it has happened a time or two. When it does, I get violent electric shocks im my brain. ZAPP!ZAPP! Who keeps flicking the light switch? Stop. Were outside man. Smoke some of this. Oh thank you. Then aLL is normal again

@NicknackPaddywhack How long has he been off it? I’ve worked with people with addictions and that’s to be expected for an average of 3 years…sometimes 5, but he may still improve if he remains abstinent or corrects any slip quickly. The brain burns out all its dopamine. It has negative effects on our motivational and pleasure centers, and many people feel fatigued and have trouble enjoying things. They behave just as you describe him. Has he tried aftercare? Also, maybe a psychiatrist could help. He could have developed a mood disorder or have something underlying his drug issues, like ADHD. They do have ways to treat amotivational syndrome without amphetamines. It’s important to let the doctor know about his addiction history, if he goes. Well wishes to your son.

Quitting was hell but i just powered my way through the pain to regain what I had lost. My bank acct was drained, weight was too low and it was taking more and more of the drug just to feel normal. This was the point when i first thought about stealing for more coke. I knew that things wouldn't get better until quitting for good in 2006. Ive never touched a hard drug since. @Kansas Kitty... thanks for sharing, for a moment I thought you were me. I too am almost 60 and have been using meth for way too long to admit. Started with the brown stuff in the 80"s that you could snort, a tiny line and be up for days. I could clean my entire house literally top to bottom in no time. I painted art back then and did my best work then. It went away and was no problem to quit. Only years later in the early 2000's did we get turned onto what most know as Ice. When it was clean man it was the best but only because of Sudafed. I won't say it wasnt bad for me or my health but it was better because you didn't have to do as much and could function fine, go to work, get alot done etc...Then when our wonderful "government" said no more Sudafed and all we could get was shake & bakedid we stop, It was just too nasty. More recently went to a party one night where it was what everyone had and we did some and damn if we didn't start up again. I was shocked at how much more addictive it was. Guessing it was the P2P kind. Only recently did it change again, pretty sure it due to fentynal and like you I do it just once maybe twice a day just to keep the pain away also cause fentynal scares me. Looking back I can say without a doubt only after smoking too much P2P did I experience hallucinations. Hearing things that weren't real, not seeing only hearing. Like music or ppl talking that wasn't real. I wouldn't call that having mental illness or delusions or psychosis like some do. Just hallucinations like you'd have from any other hallucinalgentics, dmt, mushrooms etc... these days I prefer to go down than up but need that little bit a day to keep from getting so sick. Call me what you will, I'm not perfect but no one is. This is what we had and we somehow were the lucky ones who lived to tell this tale. Yes, my health isn't the best but I never wanted to live forever. The way the world is going none of us will so I'm ok with my choices in life be them good or bad, wrong or right they were my choices. Thanks for your openess on this subject that effect so many. No haters please!!

So I started using in 2003 every day all day for three years and I had both the super and The ephedra based meth. I do agree I’ve never seen one person die from an overdose on it it slowly kills you when I first started doing it I was 125 pound by the time I decided to quit I was 88 pounds my hair was falling out my skin was gray and when you would touch me I would cry sometimes when people would hug me it would feel like my bones were breaking I do believe a friend of mine gave me a hug and I did fracture a couple ribs because of it being so small I mean. I had to have my kids go live with her father just so I can get my self clean because at that time there was not a rehab anywhere that we could find it would take me with insurance because insurance wouldn’t cover anything like that at that time dad lost his insurance and they told my parents it would be $50,000 that was just a start my kids wanted me to quit so bad all it took was my youngest son San on his birthday mommy please quit doing drugs before you die and I don’t have a mommy anymore my son was six years old that was it for me I quit cold turkey no rehab no medication nothing my father sent for me on a bust from Arizona to Texas my dad and my sister locked me in their house for three months I was not allowed to be left alone for three months then I was allowed to go to the grocery store for 20 to 30 minutes at a time and someone had to go with me six months later I was able to leave the house on my own in the end it took me 10 years to quit hearing voices to quit having the schizophrenia like episodes I have been clean this July will be 16 years have I craved it in the past yes have I went back to it no now I see a friend of mine dying from it she got a $250,000 inheritance from her grandparents when they died she’s blowing through all of it pretty much on drugs and getting other people drugs now she’s living in a motel six and $18,000 in a year how did the $250,000 Petaluma bother to try and get the RV that she wanted and she’s gonna be out of money and she’s going to be homeless soon and unfortunately I cannot have that around me I will not allow her back in my life that way I will always be her friend and I will always be there for her but I have a good job and took me a long time to get to the pay that I am making and I unfortunately cannot have that drug destroy my life again as a matter of fact I will not have that drug destroy my life again ever

The whole war on drugs thing told everyone, every drug is bad but they're going about it wrong. They don't kill immediately, but short term they can be amazing and that's the worst part. It didn't kill me, and was great, let's do it again and then addiction is formed not long after.
Spend your remaining time teaching others the eventual price to be paid isn't worth the momentary buzz.

holy crap i recovered from meth when it was all made with ephedrine. i had no idea the recipe had changed, this explains how an old friend who used had managed just fine enough till around 2013 when he just straight lost his mind. this makes sense now how he went from a somewhat functional addict to a complete scitzo rather suddenly. glad i dont use hard drugs anymore. the occasional acid trip is enough for me.

I wish I could get it out of my daily intake. I know it starts with me. I just haven't built up the strength to do so.
