Had a whole reddit thread made about this (on me specifically) where I responded there, long story short its legit - if they "picked" me, I had no communication about it and it would be illegal if its a rigged raffle. Regardless, I'm under no obligations to either Sprudge or La Marzocco - in fact, my review on the Brew by Weight scale is quite harsh on LM if anything

How are you finding the Mini after having the 800 on your bench for so long? Spring profiled shot vs straight 9 bars 🤔
Absolute beauty of a machine! Generally, I‘m not a fan of wood accents on machines as it always gives me the 80s/90s car vibes, but in combination with the metal it looks really cool here!
Imho besides the brew by weight function there are very few reasons that would make me chose a mini over a micra as a home user though.
But curious to see how you will mod the machine in the future!

What are your thoughts on the artpresso steam wand cleaning tool? I bought one for my linea micra but it makes a mess so I rather use a towel.
i actually enjoy using it! its just a quicker way to wipe before the milk hardens

I’m interested in the EG1 how are your enjoying it especially in combination with the mini.
Really loving the EG1 so far - I've had some delicious shots, milk drinks, filter brews, I couldn't ask for more. Expect a full review of both the EG1 and Mini in February (at that point in time I will have had both machines for about 100 days)
WOW! So cool! I am interested in the functionality of the acia scale. I haven't been a fan of the LMLM for light commercial or pop-ups due to the lack of volumetrics, but this could change my stance on it.

Not my endgame machine though; I want a lever machine or something with a gear pump.
Acaia scales works great with these for my coffee cart! I also have a timer attached to the solenoid so it's not far off from the functionality of a machine with volumetrics.
Not gonna lie, I'm out here entering every competition I see to win a linea mini/micra.

Rubber eraser (the white non-abrasive kinds) usually works for adhesive residue removal 😊

@AK27AK Thanks for this tip. Now I can finally remove mine with peace of mind.
Lighter fluid is a beast at removing adhesive
Cooking oil works nicely as well and most have some on hand in their pantry.

The LM lunar connected to LMLM with what? Bluetooth or WiFi? If Bluetooth, this would be game changer for pop up purpose. No more dream of GS3 to me. Thanks

The Liniea Mini is an outdated machine despite bearing the name LM. Have you considered trading / selling it to get a more cutting edge / current machine?
not at the moment, but I agree, it's definitely "basic" compared to a lot of other machines out there for less money though
If you ever want to get your return on investment I would gladly buy it for $20 😉

Why don't you jump into the decent world?
it's a lot of people's endgame machine. I luckily also got it and still is my end game machine. all that fancy decent stuff isn't for everyone and doesn't change anything about it being an endgame machine for some.
I want to try it, but its expensive and I'm nervous about long term longevity of the company itself. Probably will bite the bullet someday!
@@danishcoffeeguy The problem is that at core it's a simple 9 bar flat liner more or less.
If going to LM I'd think of gs3 mp as an end game option.
Outside the world of LM Rocket R91 is a really good option.
It sure depends on what you like about coffee and if you like to play around and experimenting.
Decent can be both super nurdy and super simple, this is what I see in it.

I was just recommended this machine if I had the budget to splash but dang winning it for 20 bucks is amazing!!! Even if it was only for half off I'd still be stoked about winning but for 20 bucks that's just mind boggling!! I'd need to get a better grinder than my DF64 Gen 2 if I won this ha ha
df64 gen 2 is SO good, punches above its weight!
@@itsxris ☺ That makes me super happy. I finally settled on the Bambino Plus but it was tough between that and the Gaggia Classic Evo Pro but the PID made the difference for me as a newbie. I currently use an Aeropress but I would like to have something that's a big bump up from that :) I hope I have it for a few years but I got it for 399.99 on sale for Cyber Monday in Blue
