I agree, I’ve had my mini since 2016 and the stainless is easy to clean and still looks like new. I’m not sure how painted would hold up, I wonder if it could chip!
The commercial-grade rotary pump and also the build of the Linea Mini keeps the sounds well insulated, much better than other home espresso machines too. Pump noise should not be a problem!
Nice video. Please consider doing a comparison between the Micra and Mini. I'm trying to decide between the Mini, Micra, Lelit Bianca, or Rocket R58. All are great machines and have their pros and cons. The ultimate video would be comparing all of these! Ha ha. I would hard plumb whichever machine I eventually get. I'm upgrading from the Gaggia Classic Pro.😊

I like the metal/chrome finish more in the body of the old linea mini. The new one made the whole body 1 solid color.
