To clarify on door tests: During the exits step 3 you can make as many door test as you need (so it isn’t 1 test per turn) and even switch to another door in the same area if it exists. If you don’t end up using a door, you can move through an open exit, even backtracking. Basically you must use an exit to move to the next phase of the turn.
Thank you for this clarification. My only excuse is that I failed my reading comprehension roll, because it's clear in Book 1 :) Luckily for me it wasn't a game changing mistake!
17:00 It is fun to watch, keep on going! I'm so much hyping all of this! Played D100 a long time ago, but have no time playing with small kids in the house. Watching you play keeps my dungeon exploring urge at bay "what will happen next!"
Thanks! I'm really enjoying it, it's a blast and having this huge map makes it even better. Unfortunately I am going to have to rotate games here and there but D100 Dungeon needs to be something I swing back around to frequently. It's just so perfect for what I was looking for I can't abandon it just to keep the RUclips algorithm happy. I'm in no hurry to "skip through" what Book 1 has to offer, but the World Builder (Book 6) really sounds jaw-dropping. Yesterday I got a solution to the hex map I will need for that! ^_^
@@CeePhour I've only tried the first book, and it is just as you describe it, "perfect" hah! I need to get back to this.. looking forward to seeing the hex map!
I only have 2 of the games you've done playlists for (Under Falling Skies and D100) but these playthroughs ive watched for these games are great. Thank you!
I just did my first adventure. I had some hot dice too, rolled a +2 sword, scale sabatons, and a legendary cloak to start! The Highrolls carried into my encounters too, 2nd fight was a black dragon. 💀
3rd video in the series, and I've never seen anyone roll so many 100's on a 1d100. I wonder if it's possible to borrow your die rolling services next time I'm playing d100 dungeon!
Great video. Just have one thought. Those objective items you keep rolling. It say it counts towards an quest so would it not count towards your quest of finding armour?
No, some of the quests say things like "find an Objective Area". I didn't do a good job of making the other 45 quest goals clear (mainly because I thought I'd die before getting out of the Training Dungeons, hah). Thank you for bringing this up, I now have a good talking point for the DT5 video :) On page 28 (Book 1) it details that some quests require you to "find an objective area". If you don't have access to the book, I know that in the next video (Dungeon Training 4, which will be up tomorrow :) ) at 1:07:23 I put that page clearly on the screen if you wanted to have a look at the various goals.
@@CeePhour Thanks for the answer. Bummer that. Makes the training quests super grindy. If i ever play the training quests i might just house rule that you just need to find x amount any way possible not just from kills. Really hope you go for the world builder soon. What i can understand it has its own quests and it skipps the training quests. But i can be mistaken.
@@ghostwalker85 Oh wow, thank you for this. Your comment jump started my brain on thinking about the quests. This is exactly what train of thought I needed to go down to solidify some thoughts on this. I'll be sure and bring this up at the beginning of Dungeon Training 5.

All for the love of games, friend!

Haha, oh no!
Given how good you are at collecting monster parts, you'll do well with Book 2.
39:58 Rats have _Disease_ so with natural 1 you should act accordingly...
20:56 5 -1 (Feet) -2 (Dmg of Giant Rats) gives 2, not 3.
48:17 Wrong D entry. 63 is J3, not LV3.

I don't think I've rolled three 100's in my LIFE, let alone in such a short amount of time!
