cute camper...have fun restoring it...we restored a 10 ft oldie not like yours but we got for 200.00. It is pretty old but we fixed it up nice and I love it...
Do you think a hard cover would make it hotter in summer for camping? Compared to a canvas type. As far as the curtains go. If you used Velcro. Couldn't you put a strip of Velcro on both sides of the top. So you could roll the curtain up and Velcro it to the top for opening the curtain.
@MegaMoochie1 - I agree. In fact, I found a nice used mini fridge on Craigslist for $25. Going to pick it up tomorrow morning. This morning I removed that ugly little cabinet with the flowery doors. After I get the fridge, I am going to re-work that cabinet so the fridge is built in beside it and the countertop extends over top of it. I am also debating between taking a small microwave or a small toaster oven when I go camping where they have electricity available. Campers gotta eat! lol
@GodlessManitoban - Well...I definitely would want to park this thing in the shade or have electricity to run a fan. It is sitting in my driveway right now and it does get pretty toasty in there in the afternoon sun. I think I have the curtain thing worked out. I am going to use wire clamps that stick to the wall to grip small curtain rods. Gonna put them on the tops and bottoms. It should hold the curtains in place even when the walls are folded down. If not, then I will try your idea. :)
I have the exact same Apache. same color we love. kids keep asking when we going camping. so comfy

@MyRealityBytes It does have potential as a mobile command post for the Zombie Apocalypse, which is coming any day now

Cool, it was just an idea :-)
@HeavyTrafficAhead - C'mon up! I'll even give you an extension cord. lol
@HeavyTrafficAhead - LOL! Let's mount it on a car frame and put some machine guns on it...Do-it-yourself Apache zombie tank!
