    Thank you for the straight forward no BS video. Hate when people are talking my ear off with unnecessary details about things that do not matter. Im saving this.

    This is absolutely the best video I have ever seen on putting one of these campers up (and trust me I have seen many). The apaches are my dream trailers and I have been researching them for years. Nice job! Thank you for taking the time!

    Glad the video helped you! Awnings vary camper to camper, particularly the poles. My awning is a rope sewn into a channel at the end of a tarp which I pull through the track on the door side of the camper. I have old poles that use a tension line to hold them in place.

    Thanks for the thumbs up, Scott. I'd be interested in seeing the clip. There wasn't anything at the top of the wall that I was aware of. I'd be very interested in seeing it. I've since sold this camper and have a 77 Ramada but still interested in the clip. I'll check to see if I have one on the 77.

    Scott, Thanks to you and your videographer for this video. It is the ONLY one on RUclips that gives such detail. We just purchased a 1975 Mesa and now believe we can set it up without crying like a little girl-thanks to you both.
    Have you had any problems with your living hinge that keeps the beds from falling to the ground? On some of the apache owner sites, they mention this is problem. Thanks again. Sparky

    My pleasure, Lisa. Enjoy your Yuma, you don't see many of them around!

    I've never had problems with living hinge on my Mesa in the video or the Ramada I now own. I have replaced some of the living hinge on my bedends which was cracked. Living hinge is still available through Apache Parts. :)

    I just took my new-to-me 1978 Apache Mesa on her maiden voyage to Cape Disaapointment State Park. we wpuld have never been able to manage putting her together if it weren't for your great video. Thanks so much, Scott! BTW, do you have a tutorial on how to set up the awning? That was the only part that had me stumped.

    AH HA!...that is what that clip was for near the door that I used to hang a bag from! It must have been bent in a way that didn't hold the wall in place. Now I know. :)

    Thanks so much for the video. I bought a Apache Ramada the other day and it was so windy the guy could not show me how to set it up. So I fumbled through it on my own. And now I watched your video and seen a lot of steps that would have helped. Do you happen to know of some good sites for replacement parts? Mine needs some love. Thanks

    • @scottvincen
      @scottvincen  8 лет назад

      +cdwraw Replacement parts are available from apachecampertrailers.com/. Call and talk to Chad or Amy. they are very knowledgeable with any questions regarding parts for Apache campers. They are the main supplier of gear boxes for all Apaches. If you buy them from another supplier....they bought it from Chad and Amy. :)

      +scottvincen Thanks, I had a feeling that was the case and the video and text seem to fully explain and describe everything.

      +Scott Zavitz The Ramada set up in the same sequence. The only difference with the Ramada is there is an extra galley cupboard to flip up inside. The bed mechanisms work the same as well as the lift system. The beds in a Ramada are 54" wide opposed to the Mesa being 48" wide.

      +scottvincen OK thanks I purchased onevbut haven't been able to get it do to all the mud wasn't sure if there were any secrets

    • @scottvincen
      @scottvincen  8 лет назад

      +Scott Zavitz most will go up the same 74 and newer. The '71 and 72' have some minor differences in how the bed end sidewalls go up. Being level is the most important thing before starting.
