- How to Transfer Disk Space from the D to C Drive
steps
1-Press the Windows key on the keyboard and type computer management. Don't click any search results just yet-just run the search for now.
2-Right-click Computer Management in the search results. A context menu will expand.
3-Click Run as administrator. This opens the Computer Management tool with administrative rights.
4-Click Disk Management. It's in the left panel. A list of disks and partitions will appear on the right.
5-Right-click the D drive and select Extend Volume. This opens the Extend Volume Wizard.
6-Click Next on the Extend Volume Wizard.
7-Choose how much space you want to allocate to the C drive. The default value selects all available free space, but you can always customize this if you want to allocate less.
8-Click Next to continue. Now you'll see a confirmation screen.
9-Click Finish to extend the space to the C drive. After a few moments, the selected amount of space will be added to your C drive.

That's the only problem, there's no option of "extend volume" when i right click on D drive
Did you find a solution?
@@echo_o8 nah
Same problem
How do I change my primary volume to d because I have a lot of space on d but my pc says I’m low on storage cause it’s only using c volume
Same problem
Did u find out how to do it
You need to go to your BIOS to do that
Can this be done the other way too, like increase d space by allocating it from c to d?
That's the problem
Ty Dude it is working🎉🎉🎉
Enjoy
I got a 512gb ssd and i wanan transfer the d drive space to the c drive so i can install fortnite and have mire space but running computer managment without administrator will not show extend drive cuz idk
I wanted to install one game so bad, i have 354GB disk d but i got 15GB space of disk c
so if my extend volume and delete volume options are greyed out what should i do
My situation 😊
How do you expect it to add space to C if you're extending D
Bro he unlocated .. it's mean a un used space .if in E drive have 300 then he cut 300-100 and remained 200 is unlocated which we give's to c drive
my goat
if u dont have unallocated space extending volume will not help.
Ok? That’s not his point
@@terracraft6631He doesn't seem to have a point. I was expecting something clever like making a folder on C: actually get stored on D:, which can be done.
@@lambertovitali3152 nah thats not what i wanted
Will data from d drive will remain safe?
No dude that's not safe

first you said about D drive and after 10 seconds you are saying about C drive.
you cannot extend c drive. it is not possible.
Vice versa
Besides giving Windows instructions on a format for a phone (VERY Irritating), A.I. guide is simply WRONG! Crappy video!
it extends only D drive Not C Drive, You Mental Video Maker. Have some common sense ,I followed your steps each.
