Kobe Bryant & Jerry Stackhouse Duel in the 4th & OT (2001)

March 15, 2001 - While Detroit Pistons all-star Jerry Stackhouse did the bulk of his work early, Kobe Bryant saved his best work for last. Bryant outscored Stackhouse 24-15 in the fourth quarter and overtime, leading his Los Angeles Lakers to a 125-119 victory. All told, Stackhouse outscored Bryant 46 to 39, but it was Bryant's clutch shots toward the end of regulation and overtime that made the difference.

Jerry Stackhouse almost beat Shaq and Kobe by himself. I know how great those Lakers teams were but Stack didn’t back down. His defense was suspect tho 🤣

The difference was kobe could rest down the stretch cuz of shaq. Along with having to be player who can make plays or setupac teammate. Stack didn't have that
