Adrian Flores Kobe played with a prime Odom, Gasol, Ariza, Artest, plus the Lakers bench (Bynum was actually a decent center plagued by injuries). Kobe is an amazing player, but don’t act like he carried the Lakers to their championship. He did carry the Lakers before Jackson returned as head coach, but even Kobe couldn’t bring the trash team had before to contention. It wasn’t until Gasol and Phil Jackson showed up that the Lakers returned to contention.

LeBron is the GOAT! I’m 63 years old so I’m not one of those young guys that didn’t see MJ play. I saw MJ play, and he was great, but his GOAT worthy years were only two 3 year runs in the 1990’s. He didn’t win anything in the 1980’s even though half of his career was played in the 1980’s. Also Michael Jordan, and Air Jordan are not the same person. Michael Jordan is the basketball player; Air Jordan is the icon, the icon sells shoes, don’t get them confused.
Half of his career was not played in the 80's, he only played 5 seasons in the 80's and one of them he was hurt, so technically 4 seasons in the 80's. Then he played 7 seasons in the 90's and 2 seasons in the 2000's. While lebron is mos definitely a beast we have never seen before. His greatness definitely can be questioned by the decisions he made and the teams he chose to play for. If you are that good why do you need to team up with Dwade, Chris bosh, anthony davis, westbrook etc. you get my point. Jordan NEVER ran after teams to jump on with other stars to win chips he brought the chips to the team he was drafted by. All in house talent minus the dennis rodman acquisition. The only chip i respect is the cleveland one because they deserved a chip. outside of that he under performed with the heat they should have won 4 out of 4 they were "clearly" the best team out there at the time. One third of his regular season games were played in the 1980’s when the great teams were younger, and he could not win against them; the Celtics; the 76ers; the pistons. The Piston won against the great teams when those teams were still young and strong. Also Chicago drafted and traded to build a great team like all teams. Michael Jordan was great, but he played on a great team, and his team only started winning after the best teams of his era got older and weaker. Being delusional is not what truth is. All of the great teams of that era got old, injured, and retired when Chicago started winning. They lost to the Orlando Magic between their two three-peats, that’s why they got Dennis Rodman because of the loss to the Orlando Magic, Chicago getting old, and was too soft on the defensive end, and Rodman added the toughness they needed, plus his rebounding ability was best in the NBA. Without Dennis Rodman, Chicago would not have had a second three-peat. In fact Dennis should have won the finals MVP, but it was given to Michael Jordan again not because he was the most valuable player, but because he is the worlds greatest icon, and hype job.

It’s funny how all the games of Lebron vs Kobe came down to the wire and they were always fouling the lakers and cheating at the end. They slapped gasol when it was 87 to 87.
It’s funny cause during this period of their head to head matches ups lebron had 6 wins to Kobe 5 wins they were damn near evenly matched. Both top defensive teams, both had a superstar player, both had two other all stars Kobe had Paul and Bynum and lebron had Mo Williams and Ilgauskas. Lebron had a better supporting cast and deeper, but the lakers cast knew how to play great together their cohesiveness and poise and discipline was top tier truly a talented team.
