I do not recommend leaving the cash drawer open unattended. I have access to the cameras in the office so I wasn’t too worried. Then he ran & I didn’t even think about the open drawer at that point. Luckily the most trustworthy person on the planet, Jeremy from Ken Ganley Kia, was the only other person on the premises.
Gotta say, I'm kind of surprised dude didn't reach over the counter for some extra bills when you walked off leaving the drawer open man. As someone that works Asset Protection that had my heart stopping. Glad it was only a $46 and change loss though. Hopefully someone knows this little weasel.
Bro don’t do that! Absolutely never chase a fleeting felon that far. If he has counterfeit money than he’s criminally connected. Don’t chase people like that you could get shot!
I was sitting here thinking that he was actually talking to the camera as he was chasing after the guy, and I can't imagine the fear I would feel if a person chasing me was narrating their every action while doing so.
The loss could have been much more than $46 by leaving the register drawer open and unattended. Luckily the dude was spooked and didn’t think to reach over and grab a handful of 💵
I’d always love when these clowns came into my old job, we had bill checking machines at each register and anything over a $20 had to be checked so they never won 😂
Videos like these are super important to me as i work retail. Its rare i get counterfeit bills but the knowledge here is really resourceful. Great video!
man i work at a register and i kinda appreciate these videos because without them i would not know that difference in a $50 bill and i get them all the time! appreciate it big dog! 🤙🏼
I would have thought it was suspicious he wants to buy each $3 drink with a $50… like why not just ask for change. That run through the snow was epic… thought I was watching a episode of cops 😂

Buys a $3 drink with a $50 bill and then buys a seperate $3 drink with a SEPERATE $50 bill? Riiiiiiight
The fact he tried to pay for a drink with a 50 twice is sketch

The fact he’s confident enough to do 2 shows he’s been pretty successful
He's a bit more of a higher level criminal from the typical candy thieves you get.
Dude you made alot of amateur mistakes in this one...

He could have gotten away with it but got greedy. 1 $50 scam per store.
I’d keep that machine at the front counter!

Dude, of all your years of experience how could you just leave the register open like that and walk away?!?! Most amateur mistake in the book...

Store clerk: these bills feel kind of sketchy

Your first hint should have been, he wanted to pay separate with 50's on two drinks.

My blood pressure skyrocketed when you left the till open. In front of a thief, no less!
