HARD agree about As Told by Ginger deserving better. For some reason my mom didn't like this show and didn't want us watching it, so my sister and I would sneak to watch it, and we'd talk about it at the table, calling it "ATBG." Such code masters we were. Really enjoyed this video, and so glad I found your channel! Going to watch your American Girl one on my commute to work tomorrow!

David Rudman, the puppeteer of Cookie Monster, Baby Bear, Scooter, and Janice created Jacks Big Music Show with his brother. They have a new show now on PBS called Donkie Hodie, a spinoff of Mister Rogers.
LazyTown also premiered on Nick Jr in the US when it first came out. Also, while Angela Anaconda isn't my preferred show due to how weird it is, only thing I know was that Eddie Glen and C.O.R.E Digital Pictures (both of which were on Thomas & the Magic Railroad) worked on that show.

Fun fact: The Tweenies, while only a small blip on American TV, were absolute juggernauts in the UK, maybe even more than Teletubbies. How so? Well, among other reasons, they had multiple arena shows (and one theatre show), and ever since Cbeebies launched in 2002, it's been on there since 2016. It was even unfortunate enough to get one of its episodes removed due to the character Max impersonating a real person who was eventually found to not be a good person, with said person being Jimmy Savile. It was originally a Welsh show that followed the everyday adventures of a red tractor named Tec and his family on both their family farm and other places around their town (I distinctly remember one episode where the family's daughter had to go to the hospital). As told by Ginger and the Thornberries were my JAM from the Nick channel. Here's some shows that so few of my friends watched that I remember and LOVED: Rupert Bear on YTV, Little Bear(PBS i think?) and the fever dream of a show that I think was just called Sandman(it started as real life, Sandman comes to sprinkle his sleep sand and then it changes to the kid"s dream and it's cartoonized. Basically bizarre dream adventures with the Sandman). No idea what that played on tv channel wise but I often try to find it and always struggle

Awww yes by 2010 I was outgrowing all of those shows unfortunately but I can imagine that was so nice to see them all in one place for the rebrand!! 🤍
Going into this I really thought I wouldn’t remember any, but I was pleasantly surprised that I honestly remembered a ton! I loved Olivia the pig 🐷 but I’m still scared of anything with puppets (especially Sesame Street)
Awww I love Sesame Street hahah that’s so funny but I’m so glad you were able to rediscover more you remembered!! 🩷
Is mayonnaise an instrument
No Patrick, mayonnaise is not an instrument
the mr meaty tapeworm jumpscare 😭😭
Traumatizing 😭😭
I know I'm late but rocket power was the ish
And Nick's best Honolulu-inspired animation ever of the 2000s
Man I miss how cartoons were like an adventure to escape from life now cartoons don't even teach one lesson it's mostly cocomelon
Please do an episode about pbs kids
It’s on the list! 🩷
And you forgot about some shows that meant a lot too me in the 90s on nick, i loved blues clues and Gullah Gullah island
@@davidkoss2827 i tried to not get too deep into the 90s- but those are great shows!! 🧡
NEW MAIA FAITH VIDEO YESS
YAYYY happy to have you here 🫶🏼
OMG MAISY! TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THAT GEM!
IT WAS SO GOOD 😭
As told by Ginger and the Thornberries were my JAM from the Nick channel.
Omg I’ve never heard of Sandman before!! I’ll have to look into it
Maisy came to Nick Jr in the late 90's not 2009.
Yesss sorry I meant to say 1999 & misspoke!! 🩷
I really appreciate how you mentioned kai lan
Aww yess Kai Lan deserved more love!! 🫶🏼🩷
6:49 Beast was just a giant golden retriever, he reminds me of Patrick from SpongeBob, well the early seasons, where he was just a loveable goofball and his stupidity was a just a cute little quirk.
