I just don't understand how people can overlook the fact Breonna Taylor was let go from her job as an EMT because a car she rented was found with a dead body inside. So while they could not charge her with anything because of lack of evidence, they sure as hell were not going to keep a person like that in such a sensitive job. It speaks to the character of the person. Terrible she got shot-I wish her boyfriend was the one who paid for opening fire at (supposedly) target unknown and using her as a human shield, but unfortunately that is not the case.
I just imagined to be in her shoes and if that was my sister and I couldn’t believe the amount of pain she must be going through. I pray for you and your mom.

My guess is that cops regularly get cleared of murder charges because police unions have the best lawyers that money can buy. Every law school should have a curriculum devoted ENTIRELY to convicting cops of crimes. EVERY case where a cop is convicted of a crime should be studied, so that prosecuting attorneys and D.A.'s can learn how it's done.

I can't even imagine what her families lives are like right now, because even mine took a slight pause. I woke up one night, starting to think about it, started crying because I heard someone coming towards my front door in the middle of the night and didn't know what to do. I now sleep with my door locked because that's the best I can do.
