just drove the '25 Civic Hybrid Sedan and I really liked it. Plenty of power, very comfortable seats (Sport Touring) room, and quiet. At 49 mpg combined, it could be a no brainer for most folks. I want the hatchback, so I'll have to wait a bit longer to get that one.
This. Thought I knew just about everything about these cars by now. Learned a few new things in this video. Great for detail oriented people like myself
The steering wheel paddles on the hybrid models control the levels of the brake regeneration. This Civic Sport Touring Hybrid is almost perfect. I would get this in Blue Lagoon Pearl and grey leather seats.
Fantastic review Mike! My pet peeve, of course, @8:48 is the bare-ness or exposed metal in the trunk looking up at the underside of the speakers. For just a few more dollars, Honda could have fixed that, especially since this is a $30+K "compact car." I LOVE how you did the transparent sticker price at the end. You are truly First Class when it comes to car reviews. 🥇🏆😎
Yeah, exactly, they skimp on the dumbest things. That trunk liner would probably be $10 worth of materials. It looks like there are even holes present where a liner would snap into. My peeve is the lack of rear seat vents. How this isn't standard in US is beyond me considering it's standard in other regions.
@gwgrote5 A few more dollars for one vehicle equates to a whole lot of money for a full production run. Fast food restaurants save thousands plus $ but not adding extra condiments like pickles to their burgers. Things like that are common, and sometimes added only on top trim models. Even not having the msp storage pocket behind the driver's seat on most cars now is a big savings in production cost for a whole production run for their vehicles. It irks OCD people like me. Maybe just not have any to save money and put something else like USB outlets or A/C vents or the fold down center armrest with cupholders for cars that don't have them. Prople can get those inexpensive storage caddies that hang from the headrests with lots of storage options online.

There's a ton of interest in this car. Outstanding performance, fuel economy, ride quality, reliability, in a good-looking car for an affordable price.
@@prescottlangewell if you want a full (midsize) size camry then I guess you wouldn't be in the market for a compact car, like a civic, right?? The civic competes with the corolla (and the hybrid also with a Prius), not the camry. Two different classes.

WOW. Nice car Honda. Corolla cannot compete with this. Toyota will need to compare a Camry to this. Considering what a civic will cost that is actually not a bad idea.
Compare interior room you will find nearly the same as Civic. Camry is longer on the outside, a bit larger trunk. Civic is sportier and more features than LE. Either Civic or Camry are both solid choices.
wonder where they put the hybrid battery if it still has a space for the spare. a selling point of these cars is going to be the capacity of that battery
Question Mike, I saw on some pictures that you can apparently put the navigation (google) map on the right side of your odometer? Would be able to confirm that? Because that will be neat for an econo car like this to have that feature.

@@blackwhirlwind1245not to mention the better ride quality, interior, and hatch back, unless ofc u get the hatch civic, anyone that buys the sedan is just wasting money IMO.
The Canadian, United Kingdom and Australian market all have rear air condition vents. They also have two rear seat pockets, panorama roof glass and rear usb cbarging!. This is simply cost cutting to make Honda more money in America because they know Americans will prefer to buy a SUV Crossover instead of compact sedans. While the other markets around the world prefer smaller vehicles and sell more of them. I recromend to buy a used 2022 or higher Lexus ES300h because it will get 45 mpg while being larger, smoother and quieter than a loaded Civic. Not to mention better tech and amenities. Rear vents and heated rear seats and rear window blinds all around. All for the same price as a loaded Civic Touring Hybrid.@tinhinnh
It's unforunate that the interior is a monochrome - depressing and drab. Personally, I'd prefer cloth or a textile leatherette as they wear better and wrinkle less than the so-called leather which is polyurethane coated.
Sport (not Touring) trim comes in black cloth I have a 2001 Lexus IS300 with rare cloth Altezza seats.. they are like new.. so I know what you mean. These leather seats are crazy comfortable though. Haven’t sat in the cloths
