Although trailers for The Acolyte had seemingly only depicted Mae-one character-The Acolyte two-episode premiere revealed that there were actually two characters, twins Mae and Osha. Although the premiere set the twins up as being on two sides of the Force, Osha on the light side and Mae on the dark, the third episode, "Destiny," suggested that not everything is as it seemed. Now, the secret to The Acolyte's latest plot twist may have been revealed in the most unlikely place, more than a decade ago.

Who actually cares? The writing for this show is garbage. They retconned Anakin as the chosen one because that implies over 100 years before the sequel trilogy someone else was born from the force. There is no part of this show that is not an insult to star wars.

“I love you!” Ten min later “I’m gonna kill you” wonderful writing. Also fire can move through stone. Amazing. Also the mother says not to use the thread as a weapon. Immediately uses it. Jedi gives kid a lightsaber, could accidentally kill herself. Wonderful writing. Amazing episode. 0/10

Yeah , the writing is very suspect. No idea why this slips through the cracks in any of the current sub par shows...insert Doctor Who as most recent.
Also 40-45 minute episodes and they still can't tighten up and smooth out transitions and cut the useless scenes. Is it necessary to show Kelnacca fixing a Speeder and barking at Osha?

The smoke inhalation could’ve killed them but I feel like the Jedi did it. Though I doubt sol was aware that they did as they likely knew that he would not agree.

More people need to follow my footsteps and cancel their subscriptions. What else are we to do if we want change? These shows don’t even feel like star wars anymore it’s so embarrassing.

    Three questions:
1: Why were the Jedi on Brendok in the first place? Sent to there because some other faction on the planet informed the Jedi of a Coven on their planet? Someone tipped the Jedi off on that there are children in a Witches coven. Why that matters I have no idea.
2:How does Osha and Mae even know who and what the Jedi are? Thought they were birthed on Brendok? and why would any of the witches let alone Aniseya or Koril bring up The Jedi at all.
3: How does Sol know Mae started the fire? Does Mae tell him? Why would she? Also Sol does not seem to be a Jedi that lies, but who knows.
So as to your video. Mae did start the fire, but how did Sol know that. The fire ignited the book that I assume Mae drops the lamp and the oil spreads, at least to the door area and maybe a bit elsewere throughout the temple, I doubt it...unless the timeline is way way off on duration, like a half hour takes place before Osha gets out of her room and down to the reactor room. This would be terrible writing unless the companion flashback fills in the gaps time wise. I am guessing there will be a Jedi side flashback and maybe a Mae one, they might combine the two and we will of course have our answers. Headland has said Episode reveals all of the Temple incident.
    Now my theory:
Koril was the one to take over Torbin and then release him on the Jedi. She is the one that Takes over Kelnacca ( since the trailer images show him controlled ) Kelnacca attacks Torbin with Sol on the hunt for Osha and Mae. Indara is the one that has created this entire mess, yet takes out Koril and releasing Kelnacca, but after giving the scar on Torbin. Indira eventually goes and takes the Baresh Vow for this entire incident passing and getting the second dot, by her left eye, after atoning for what she did...Or she is in exile thus the second dot, for that, and that is where we meet her and Mae in episode one. Sort of like when Obi Won has been in exile after order 66 has taken place and he thinks he has killed another "Jedi" when he took down Anikin.
Obviously all this takes place when the Jedi go back to the Sith Temple, yes Sith Temple not Coven Temple, How would a bunch of witches build this, with the intention of taking both girls with them to be Jedi trained. So the Jedi head there to do so. The Coven prepares.
Yet I also believe one of two things happened. The witches have the ability to feign death and thus go into a coma like trance and appear as if dead. There in they are all just laying around on the floor we have seen. Sol sees this and continues onward to find Osha and Mae not specifically caring what happened, the goal is to at least get Osha. There is fire IN the temple when Sol is leading Osha out.
It is too obvious for Koril to be the one training Mae. Since we know all the main actors and their roles, so far means one of them is the Master or Apprentice. We know it is not Mae or Osha, Indara or Torbin and probably not Sol or Kelnacca, nor Yord or Jecki. This leaves four of the "main" characters left Qimir, Aniseya, Koril or Vernestra Rowh. Most believe it is Koril or Qimir. That said, since I think Koril is not the Apprentice for the twins, she IS her mother, yet it does seem to obvious through her dialog in this episode she could be...Zabrak however do not wear helmets like we see the Sith/dark side figure wear. This removes her from the list. It most likely leads to an unnamed actor or Aniseya or Qimir. Aniseya could have endueced the Force coma on the witches as a distraction and allowing Koril to try to get the twins out but Koril has other plans and thus dies???
Qimir seem most likely if only because he has had such a small part so far and with five episodes left he will probably be expanded on as Mae's apprentice and the Sith figure the Master with Mae the Acolyte
Now I would LOVE to see the last episode have Osha and Mae fight it out with Osha killing Mae and becoming Dark by doing so, thus The Acolyte. Killing her sister makes sense as becoming a Dark side force wielder usually happens when a character kills a family member.
This would make for a better story outcome then the obvious Mae being The Acolyte.
