What If Star Wars: The Force Awakens Was Awesome?

- This is a hypothetical rewrite of the 2015 film, Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens. We incorporated the use of generative A.I technology such as MidJourney and ElevenLabs.
35 years after the fall of the empire, the galaxy has entered an age of unparalleled peace and prosperity. Leia Organa has worked tirelessly for years brokering peace treaties and trade agreements for old systems to re-form the galactic republic. A job she has been superb at for decades. But there is one last system that wants to reestablish trade. THE IMPERIAL REMNANT. A campaign Leia is staunchly in opposition of and threatens everything her husband Han Solo, and brother, Luke Skywalker worked so hard to build.
Before the Emperor's death, he created a contingency trust to furnish his most loyal supporters and military leaders with significant financial resources, as well as a small cluster of some of the most resource-rich planets in the galaxy so that his legacy could endure. Resources that would substantially aid in the new republic's humanitarian efforts as they attempt to root out the last remnants of crime and piracy syndicates in the galaxy. And rebuild worlds that were ravaged by the empire.

Finn gets the story he deserves, Han gets the respect he deserves, Poe gets the mantle he deserves, Rey gets the mystery she deserves, Luke gets the power he deserves, Snoke gets the creepyness he deserves, the Republic gets the defeat they deserve, Anakin gets the protagonism he deserves, we get the Star Wars we deserve. Everyone Happy!!!!
At this point, this channel needs to rewrite the sequel trilogy, MCU Phase 4, and the new Indiana Jones while we're at it.
Hux gets the guile he deserves.

“Together Han, Luke, and Leia.” … how Disney never made this reunion happen baffles me. Excellent story.
Worst missed opportunity ever.
When they killed Han in the force awakens that’s what my mind immediately went to. How in the world did they not have 1 scene with those three. It’s so stupid.
@@smitty16s zero emotional impact the way they did it

Now THIS is pure Star Wars. Reflections of modern day conflicts, epic battles and emotions consequences and most importantly the original trilogy characters acting like did many years ago, but older and wiser. THIS is the Star Wars that we should have gotten. Honestly feel proud of yourselves for such a feat that not even modern day Disney has yet solved.
Thanks M567dk. Those are really lovely words. I'm just a fan out here trying to do what's most interesting for the story and the fans. Thank you for the kind words and all of your support.
The fun thing is some aspects of the clone wars (that were there in the prequels but weren't really explored) have been rolling around in George Lucas head since the Vietnam war, but they suddenly became relevant again during the war on terror.
War and politics are always cyclical.

They were never Disney's ideas, they were always George's ideas. And some ideas from the extended universe. They took his ideas and made them worse
@@O1OO1O1 well Rey and Snoke I think we’re Disney Ideas and the knights of Ren I believe.
I waited 43 years for episode 7 and finally got it in story format. Bravo. Well done.
I think George would approve.
yes he would
Math doesn't work.
Holy crap, that was a million times better than what we actually got. I wish we could rewind time and have this guy write episode 7.
On behalf of the Temporal Excellence Agency, we did better. We sent Timothy Zahn back there to write Heir To The Empire.
Disney didn't listen.
We’re basically living in the WORST timeline when it comes to our favorite franchises. Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Terminator, Dr. Who, etc…
Just a bunch of schlocky, moronic trash written by WoKe talentless hacks who couldn’t care less about respecting the source material. A travesty.
I watch episode vii in theaters, I think it was ok. Mediocre but OK. Then it's down hill from there. Not even Jedis can walk up that steep of a trench. But agree that this is league's better, and we maybe has a chance, they are remaking the Sequel Trilogy, right? I think it's a 1000 times better Idea then tweaking the originals to accommodate with the sequel... which are their first idea. It's just they didn't want to admit the Sequel needed to be thrown out. Now Kennedy is out with the idea of "tweaking" the original Trilogy out with the the rest of the pile.
Really gotta disagree. (Everyone's opinions are valid of course, I just disagree.) To me, this reads like the prequels... super boring, way too much focus on the politico-economic forces and factors-which should matter for depth of backstory, but shouldn't be the focus of the script.
Also, the AI images are just awful.
And... "anyways"?
This is what happens when a lifelong Star Wars fan and not feminist sjws write a Star Wars story
This proves that our issue was never with characters or actors, it was with the narrative. You can tell an exciting new story with new characters, just don’t crap all over legacy characters to prop them up.
for real man. this shit was incredible
Rey as a powerful Sith would be my absolute Dream. Sith a naturally more powerful than Jedi. So having Rey be overpowered would be well within the Lore for a Sith lord.
@@ReveredDead
If they really wanted Rey to be the big hero, then that is fine as long as they flesh out and develop her charecter along the way. She became a key member of the story without us getting hooked on her, we were all hooked on Fin instead.
Rey being a powerful Sith does sound better though, however, I do not think they wanted that at all.
@@ReveredDead Rey being overpowered jedi isn't the problem , the story and the plot are the problem

I genuinely feel the same way. This honors the admirable people we saw these characters develop into.
This generation of writers have a massive resentment at people who achieved competency and meaning through suffering. Their only accomplishment is in tearing down something beautiful for many of us.

Every script that wasn't touched by K. Kennedy, including JJ Abrams, was a really good work with a lot of thought put into it. JJ wanted to go with the G.Lucas script at first but was open to new ideas and came up with two really good stories. The first one never got completed and the tlj script, which was written to improve on the lack of story the first had, were both completely scrapped. Tlj was the last straw for JJ, cus he wrote a really good story and worked his ass off doing it, then KK comes along and even tried to destroy every copy of it. Sorry coffee lady, didn't anyone teach you nothing stays buried.
Doomcock got his hands on an unpolished version but it's basically the same. Lukes green lightsaber crystal comes into it.
But what the hell 🤷🏻♂️ who needs great and competent writing when you can come up with randomly overpowered girls and contradicting scenes with no explanation.
@@MikeDchy25 sounds like you have some first hand knowledge there Mike. Care to share with the class?
Literally amazing, PURE STARWARS! Political tension, rise of authoritarianism and showing of bureaucratic regimes, always classic epic battles and amazing characters 10/10!!!
I don't know why you don't have a billions views... this is amazing. The move to make Rey evil or at least on evil's side from the start is an incredibly smart decision. We've never seen someone on the darkside change...except for one final moment with Vader. Rey is perfect for this role, a dark/lost chosen one having a choice to change is new, and very very relevant right now.
This... this is how you upset a status quo. Now there is no 'Mary Sue' complaint. Her abilities and legacy make her competency perfectly logical and still mysterious at her introduction. And to top it off... we get the female darksider/Sith we have never seen in a film before... glorious!
Finn's treatment is also serious and not a joke. His character matters to the plot and isn't just a token ignored and forgotten as he is for half of the new trilogy.
And then the resentment from Ben to his father is much more compelling, adding Poe as the son he wanted as opposed to the Ben the son who he never understood is just... chefs kiss.
DUDE this is such high praise. I am so happy you resonated with the material. I care so much about this project and hoped it would resonate in this way. I wanted to make the new characters feel necessary and position the legacy characters in a way that was respectful of their struggle while still leaving room for them to pass on the torch. Starting to break story on Episode 8 this weekend so please hang tight. I got a lot of work ahead of me.
Oh... my...Han's death actually gave me chills and had me tearing up. That was SO MUCH BETTER. And I LOVE that you made Rey the Sith. It's perfect. This was amazing. I'm subbing for the rest.
Thanks man! I love that moment too. it's heart breaking, and gives our characters a personal grudge match against the antagonist as opposed to just a mysterious threat. I thought it would be more impactful for his friends and family to actually be upset by his death rather than two characters who knew him for less than a few days lol.
@@prismstories yes! His "actual" death was a joke. A bad, sad, pathetic joke. 😔 This has meaning.

This was fucking FANTASTIC. I felt more emotional depth in Han’s death just from these AI generated images and your reading voice than I did with the entirety of TFA. The fact we could have had an Old Luke talking to a Young Anakin. BRO I can’t tell if this glorious script you made pisses me off or makes me happy
I’ve got to admit, I actually got goosebumps at the end there. Can you imagine how insane with anticipation the fandom would have become if Ep. 7 really ended like that? Truly an excellent job all around. Cannot wait for 8 & 9 to come out. I’ll play all 3 together on my TV and pretend the real 7,8,9 never existed. Ok, this is my number seven. Luke turning to Anakin for support and counsel, actually brought tears to my eyes. Thank you.

I LOVE this. Bringing Luke, Han, and Leia back together was one of the biggest missed opportunities that we’ll never be able to correct now… I really like your Filoni-esque approach to using the best of the old EU canon, while modifying it with the new elements presented in the The Force Awakens, instead of literally scrapping everything and creating a confusing unexplained new reality with little to no lore to back things up. Han's death actually made me more emotional in this video than in TFA. Brilliant story and only the beginning of a revolution! AI will change the potential of fanfiction forever in a way that Hollywood will become obsolete.
You did a tremendous job of unifying the Prequel and OT aesthetic, incorporating the Sequel characters, and making all of the relationships much more meaningful with just a few slight re-calibrations. And, I get heavy EU/Dark Horse vibes from this, realizing how cinematic so many of those Legends stories were and how I long to see them on screen. Hat's off to you, would love to see Eps. 8 & 9.
Yeah because switching the hero and the villain is a "slight re-calibration"...
@@thomgizziz Wait until he switches it again seeing as that's the set up.
ok this is pretty good. Waaaaaaaay better than what we got. Rey, Ben, Finn and Poe are very interesting. Luke, Leia and Han are still awesome, but you can gradually see the story shifting to the newer characters. The Disney Sequels team (especially the producer) could really learn a thing or two. I would have like to have seen Corellia as Hans Burial place. Maybe it would have been made a better planet as a place that rallied around Hans transformation from rouge thug to War Hero. But this whole thing was really good.
How the hell can I get chills from your story while JJ put me to sleep? Nicely done.
I love how gritty and focused the art direction is for this. So balanced and honest on how real a power vacuum would actually look like when the Imperial structure of resources and technology is eliminated. Everything would have to face a sort of "black mirror" of the aftermath.
Crime, medieval culture and religious intuition would return. And the Skywalkers would once again place themselves to face the fate of not only the universe but the power and mystery of the force itself.
Damn you Kathleen, you failed us all. Blinded by your own ego and fear. We all watched you fall. And now we fans of GEORGE LUCAS STAR WARS have the high ground!
I can not believe how amazing this is. The conflicts, the delivery of prior events, the political conundrums, this here is masterful writing!
It's crazy that HUGE movie studios can not come up with anything remotely similar to this with millions of dollars and countless writers and thinkers. Anyone who approved of the movies we got should be fired starting with the CEO and the other execs, and all benefits, bonuses and company cars given to them should be paid back!
Seriously on the verge of tears from the emotions this brings, for both the moving story, the connected plot points and of course the fact that this story was not made. I suppose the upside to AI movies in the next couple of years, we'll be able to enjoy this as a full 110m movie! Thank you so much for this. Here's hoping you bring us 8 & 9. The redemption story arc of Rey would make me care for her!!!
I'll definitely take this rewrite over what we originally got. Masterfully done!
People fail to see that the problem with the sequel trilogy isn’t the characters, but the narrative itself. This story sounds a thousand times better than the one we got. THIS should have been the real episode seven
This was so great! Having Rey an already well-trained Sith was genius. Luke was perfectly written as well. This is the Star Wars I grew up with and dreamt of seeing. Bravo!

I know all the images were AI, But if the author came up with the story all on his own, this was amazing. There is a solid story as to why both sides engage in War again. There was enough story building to re-introduce the old cast and give a good introduction of the new cast, and there was enough action to keep the interest of most film goers that actually made sense. This was so good that I actually watched the whole thing. The sad part was that Disney probably could have come up with this type of Idea if they would have done 2-3 more rewrites of their draft.
Yes! This is beautiful.

Honestly, I kinda like the first movie of this trilogy. And I friggin' despise AI stuff. I only mention these things that no one asked about because it might emphasize my appreciation when I say I managed to put them aside, because you did so well. The swap makes so much more sense, and the heroes going about their business in the beginning could be realized in a way that would give a bit slower pace, a buildup that was used so well in older movies to pull in the audience more and making the upcoming conflict much more engaging to witness.
Luke's remark about the Coruscant temple is just the icing on the cake for me. So all in all, congratulations!
PS: I could only smirk about how the baddies practically pulled a Holocron Heist on the Jedi again.
Just wow, this is something so interesting and exciting. Great to see the characters we know still be themselves. It's interesting to see Ben be among the good guys and like to see more. Now this is Star Wars to me.
Very kind words Shinku, I feel the same way.
This should be a movie!!! great story!
as my grandfather used to say, "that would be a whatiffer"
Luke : Enough! , the boy is scared.
Han : So is mine.
Damn!
Only three minutes in and it's already WAY better that what we got.
That chewie cries out part hit a little hard
This brought a tear to my eye. It's absolutely disugsting what Disney did to these movies and what a single fan fiction author can produce even when put into a box with the same idiotic elements is astounding. Great job. JJ is a hack. Rian Johnson is a hack. Disney is cancer.
This is fan-tastic!! 😭🖤
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
dude this is SOOOO good
Episode 7 wasnt the issue with New/Sequel Trilogy. The issue was they decided to play a game of telephone with a multibillion dollar IP. If they actually took the time to write a 3 story cohesive script, it would've turned out fine _probably..._
But instead it ended up being a hot mess because RJ didnt care about anything canon for the Star Wars Universe, let alone what JJ setup for him in the previous installment. And then you have JJ being emergency tapped to fix up the mess that RJ created which is just putting a bandaid on the real issue.
Anyways, was E7 a stellar movie? No, but it accomplished the goal while staying mostly canonical to Star Wars and being entertaining. It was a safe story that took no risks while bringing the audience back into the Star Wars universe.
I got more chills in the first two minutes of this video than during the entire 9h run of the sequels
Brilliant!! 10min of this is better than what Disney produced.
Jacen, Jaina and Anakin are still better.
But I would have enjoyed this.
Agreed. The idea with this was to incorporate the characters that were introduced in this cannon. I didn't want to introduce characters that a general audience wouldn't be familiar with. Thank you for the support!
@@prismstories You did really well with the material you were working with 💞
Thank you!
