Great reaction! Weird Al is a musical and comedic genius all rolled into one. I like how he gets lots of celebs to make cameos in his videos. The director (who was reptilian underneath) is Patton Oswalt, and the 2 men in black are comedians, too. One is Thomas Lennon (Lt. Dangle from Reno 911), and I forget who the other one is at the moment.

Weird Al made his first recording at our local San Luis Obispo California Cal Poly Campus in the Men's Restroom. Used to listen to him on Saturday night on Dr. Demento's radio show.

Al got his impressive rhyming skills from the rap•tillians. Around that time, conspiracies were a popular thing to debate. Also, there were a lot of interesting/wacky theories & internet forums based on them. I know there are still internet forums around, but they seemed a lot bigger, then & commercial social media was a much smaller piece of the pie. They even had instructions on the Internet for making foil hats. Apparently, tin foil worked better, but Aluminum worked ok, if that's all you had.
