The flag was "blowing" in the moon photos because the astronauts had just placed the flag in the ground so what your seeing is the flag moving because of the physical movement involved in placing it and not because of wind. Also the flag was held by both a vertical bar and a horizontal bar.
I was about to say the same thing. This NASA conspiracy nonsense gets on my last nerve. It’s not as bad as flat earth but it’s close.

The director that takes his mask off to reveal a lizard person is Patton Oswalt, an incredibly funny comedian. The guy you can't remember the name of is Tom Lenin. He was on Reno 911, the remake of The Odd Couple, and a bunch of other stuff. He is also hilarious!
The great part given 40+ years of making all these songs is his live concerts. He is amazing and funny and his flow is just as good as on his disks, which his last release hit #1 not bad for parody.

As a 90's kid/teen, my siblings and I grew up with Weird Al, we even went to one of his outdoor concerts. I used to know every song he was parodying, but with the most recent albums I have absolutely no idea. I still find them funny though, Weird Al's humor is special.
The flag on Moon had the horizontal rod to keep it open, and while they mess with it the canvas just ripples with its own tension..

The flag wasn't blowing. They planted it into the ground of the moon, and it wiggled.
Scribe was right about the "Men in Black". They were played by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant of "Reno 911" fame. What she missed, though, is the "director", who was played by comedy great, Patton Oswalt("King of Queens", "The Goldbergs").
Indeed, Weird Al is a legend among legends.
In a vacuum their is no wind, but a vacuum doesn't have an effect on vibration. When the astronaut is holding and moving the flag, his movement is transfered to the flag which being a thin fabric then dissipates the energy the same way a whip would, just with out the supersonic whip lash lol. You can try this for yourself in a pool. Although not a vacuum, it is devoid of air. If you move a flag on a stick up and down you will see that the flag waves in conjunction with your hands movements. This gives the illusion of wind blowing. But we all know wind doesn't blow underwater. Lol. I don't know why I typed this but I did. It's the curse of the AL.

Just a quick response to why the flat on the Moon was waving:
The flat was weighted to fully hang in the Moon's low gravity. It's only natural for the weights to swing as the astronaut moves the flag into place. Just imagine holding a heavy jacket or necklace on the Moon, you'd expect it to swing as you move your hand.

And attached to a horizontal rod at the top in addition to the vertical pole. Just gravity and momentum would make it move a bit.
And, on a side note, I think the colors have faded at this point, from the extreme temperatures and UV radiation. Probably looks like a surrender flag at this point.

I've always been watching weird Al, you just gave me a reason to watch it again.
The flagpole we used to put up our flag on the moon had a little arm that stuck out sideways from the pole that the flag hung down from. NASA knew that there was no air so they designed it to make sure you could see the flag anyways.

5:30 it wasn't blowing it was being held up by a metal rod, then just moving due to the low gravity.
Low gravity does not make things move from standstill. This does not mean there was not some energy input but that’s not how gravity works. It is curious how that energy was conveyed to the flag... like any pendulum in time it will release all potential energy and settle.

Please please check out his song 'Pitiful'. Its a parody of 'Beautiful' by James Blunt and, James Blunt himself loves it. The studio wouldn't let Weird Al do a music video so a private animation group on youtube made one for him. Its really really awesome and its probably my favorite Weird Al song.
