Some say it's pre-recorded, some say it's auto tune, some say it's lip synching, some say it's engineered, but you know what I see? I see band having a blast, and a great amount of joy on Ozzy's face. I mean just look at him when he looks out at the fans, he is beaming. You love to see it 💯

Chuck you know man what ever they call it, the main thing is at the age 74 we see a man that enjoys what he does. A man that will die on stage for his fans. I've been a fan back when I had to sneak to hear his music. (My father was a preacher) and we wasn't aloud to listen to him. But his music hit home. I've not missed very many of his concerts. You can see his age upon him. And when he raises up on that stage I still get chills. Cuz he is real, he speaks the truth about life, and I will cry like a baby when he passes to the after life. Just saying that the (Prince Of Darkness) will live for-ever with me.

Out perform? Dude he was literally strapped to a pole or something he rose up from the stage never moved from that spot one time and then went right back down, the first song was definitely all lip synced the second at least had backing tracks it's just sad to watch dude, Ozzy is not a well man and Sharon keeping pushing him out there like this so she can make another dollar it's quite honestly sickening. There's a time to hang up the towel man I don't want to remember Ozzy like on his last tour using backing tracks and lip syncing like Kiss did in thier final tour.

@@TheAntiTryhard He's lip synching to a prerecorded vocal track used to mimic the live performance. Source: Touring musician for 10 years. It's not "live", but it's the closest thing we're getting. At Ozzy's age and condition, it's hard for him to be in peak singing condition. This is an easier route for him. The fact that he can get up on the stage and perform at all is a blessing for the fans. For a lot of people, it's not about the quality of the live performance as it is saying you got to see Ozzy live, one of the godfathers of heavy metal.
Just don't run around in denial about what he's doing. He's 73, no musician or anyone who knows music, would expect a real live performance out of him. There's a better chance of it not going well. I mean, if you want a further detail, listen to the vocal lines, there's no bleed over from the drums or guitar. Every mic on a stage like that will pick up sympathetic frequencies, and you don't hear them coming thru the vocal performance. That's how you know it's recorded before he goes on stage.

There isn't much Auto-Tune, if any at all. Apparently you're not aware that pretty much all professional live and studio vocals have effects such as reverb and digital delay on them, and sometimes harmonizer. Ozzy has always been great at coming up with vocal melodies - do you think that his vocals with Sabbath and his early solo albums had Auto-Tune on them, even though it hadn't even been invented yet? Because the vocal melodies on Patient Number 9 are very similar to those on his first few solo records.

I get goosebumps every time i watch it! It is truly AMAZING of how Ozzy, an old man of medium physical structure, can suddenly appear as a giant when he's on stage! The voice like when he was 20! Although the man has so much pain, here he transforms into a beast. Watching him with that black medieval coat and all that tremendous beautifully chaotic music and energy, he seems like a prince of darkness standing and singing in the middle of a war surrounded by flames and chaos! No heavy metal singer has ever achieved a such superhuman persona like Ozzy's that day!! (He's in his 70s and in severe pain)!! In my opinion, that day exactly, was the day when heavy metal reached perfection! In these two songs! The numerous reasons of transformation, passion, pure talent, impossibilities and extraordinary circumstances added to the perfection we witnessed!
Also, many lessons here for the unfortunate young millenians who missed the 80's, to take a glimpse of what is the pure meaning of heavy metal and the glory of the electric guitar. This is: Voice of a giant coming from his heart, the thunderbolt female striking sound of the electric guitar played by the fingers of a true Ace, drums of war and the air around us full of electricity and rain of adrenalin!
I strongly feel, that day, very few people realized that it was a historical moment. It maybe was the last day of the true heavy metal in all its glory as it was back in the 80s! Because the elder Ozzy Osbourne somehow travelled through space and time and gave us some minutes of his younger self and the golden era.
Now, this stupid millenian "fast food" music era and its stupid TikTok ambassadors shall unfortunately completely take over, especially when the last old good ones shall leave this life. And all that golden music will be treasured from us, the faithful ones, in dusted vinyls and in our loving memories...
So youngsters! Take a glimpse here and try as much as you can to honor our forefathers, (from heavy metal to rock stars and ballad singers), because THEY were the ones who trully knew about music, quality, and carried the flame for so many years!
Thumbs up from all of us who love the 80s and hope to God to bring it back somehow!
