    If I am to be good at usage of these structures, I should implement them in my writing more often. Grammar is a consuming passion of mine and I can't thank you enough Adam!

    Hi Dear Sir
    I have some question about to be+v3
    (It should be done) what tense is it and is this sentece passive of simple present tense?

    • @WritetotheTop
      @WritetotheTop  3 месяца назад

      This is modal passive. It suggests a future because the 'it' has not been done yet. It is just a suggestion, not a reality.
      Does this help?

    Hello! Adams. I don't understand expressions such as 1)she is meant to be 2) it is meant to be 3) you are meant to be. Very often, i have seen and heard all such expressions at the end of every clause. For example, "you will get to where that it is meant to be" and " what you see and what you hear is what it is meant to be." Is the latter expression correct? So, how and when can i use these? Yeah! by the way, thanks for the helpful videos.

    'He had to be there' -if I trun this sentence into negetive, so what should be the answer. is it-
    1) he didn't have to be there. Or,
    2)he had not to be there.
    So, what whould be the answer please tell me sir,
    I'll wait for your kind reply..

    Everyone considers your figure to be so attractive. My question is this cant we say everyone considers your figure is so attractive.other example you look tired why they didt use *to be* before adjective tired.I saw many structuress where verb+adjective and verb +to be+ adjective. And I tried to google this and found a note which says there are some verb in english that need to be follwed by infinitive so thats why we use* to be * before adjective plzz andwer me m very confused
