1) To talk about a person's temporary behavior 0:40
Examples:
1. You're being rude to our guest
2.quit being so lazy and fix that faucet
3.quit being such a baby
4.you're just being silly
5.why is she being so stubborn
6. Stop being negative. Learn to think positively.
2) as a gerund 4:00
Examples:
1. I dreamt of being a rock star
2. Do you like being a teacher?
3.being a teacher is a lot of hard work but I believe it's much more rewarding than being a celebrity of course I wouldn't mind being famous but fam is certainly no substitute for fulfillment.
3) in the passive voice 6:17
1. Your room is being prepared sir.
2.our room was being prepared
3.(past continues passive voice)
4.i think we are being followed( present continues passive voice)
5. She thought they were being followed( past passive
4) 8:30 participle clauses
1. Being afraid of heights, I try to avoid going up tall buildings
2. Not being afraid of heights, I have no problem going up to the top floors of tall buildings or even climbing mountains
