I don’t understand the manslaughter charge. This was 100% 1st degree murder. It was also attempted murder. I think people keep forgetting that the little boy was standing right next to his mother. She could have easily killed that little boy instead and she would have had no remorse for that either. She’s evil & miserable. Hope she has fun in prison.

She was a person of a family of five. She raised basically her sister after her brother moved out, because her mother was sick and her father had passed away. Susan turned around and she took care of her mother when she got sick for years she gave her life up to take care of her mother doing it by herself. Now her sister Sandy was married to somebody that was capable of supporting I would say a family of three or more with rental houses so they could afford to help but they didn’t as far as I knew and her brother was mad at her because situation with her mother because her mother turned everything over to Susan. That’s what I know about the family. The last I knew because I’ve tried finding Susan for years. She’s always been a loving person. She’s always loves animals. She’s never gets into trouble. She doesn’t have a record and she didn’t kill that little boy, and I really firmly believe Susan might have dementia and she reacted to a reaction of being afraid. Even the news reporter stated that your daughter or the daughter pounded hard on the door. She should’ve stayed home and she should’ve waited for the police to come instead of going over to Susan‘s house and pounding and thrusting her body against the door. So Susan was in fear for her life. She didn’t make the right decision of waiting in fear. You pull the trigger by accident or by me doing it. I do not condemn her totally I think she should’ve waited and not pulled the trigger, but I firmly believe that Susan did this it self-defense. She just lost your mother. This was back in June from what the newspaper articles had said. I don’t know. I didn’t hear the story until I saw the news of where she was being sentenced. That’s when I picked up on the newspaper article so I don’t know the full story. That’s why I’ve asked for the case so I could look at it being in law-enforcement and being past Medical. But I’m a private investigator. And being as she has no record she will probably get off sooner and maybe put it be put on probation, but she’ll probably wear a monitor, and she won’t have any weapons that’s for sure because they will take them away and if she is found with one, she violates her parole or her time. And she will serve present time, but I don’t know what the outcome was. I have no idea, cause I have not seen the updated report since I saw the day that I responded to the article. Maybe understanding if someone is sick and learning how to help instead of fighting against her might’ve helped the situation as well. I’m sorry if it was your daughter or your niece or whoever it’s related to you she didn’t deserve it and I will say that, but like I said, I do know Susan, and she’s never been that way ever and being as she doesn’t have any record that’s why she probably got a lighter sentence in order to hurt somebody she has to be with an arms reach, even though there was a door between the two of them she was still with arms reach. If she opened the door she would’ve been right on top of her, had she open the door she should’ve waited and stayed home until the police department came. As I said, I do not know what the outcome was other than you stating which you’ve stated here. But like I said, I’m truly sorry for the loss. Nothing can replace a child. I know that first and I lost a child in 2005 that was still born and my son has been missing for over 14 years and I keep my prayers open. Praying that he will come home someday before I die. I know it lost this like, but you had to take one step at a time and day by day and remember all the good things that were there and remember that those children that she has and get a book on dementia and I bet you $10 to a donut that she has the symptoms there in that book that will tell you about a person that has problems with dementia because that’s what her mother had and my mother had it. But it affects other people sooner than others depending on their health conditions. Like I said nothing can take the place of your daughter if this is the mother and I’m truly sorry for your loss. I don’t think this is gonna help you, but it did me at the time I took my classes. When you take up law-enforcement, you have to go through a lot of psychology courses and law-enforcement is the only career that you can come out of and be a social worker as well as being in law enforcement, and not go back to school and taking all those classes all over again. But taking a psychology course may help you understand yourself your feelings and people around you better than what you have right now. It’s just a suggestion you can take it or leave it and go to grief counseling because you’re feeling the loss you wanna hate everybody anybody says anything against this you don’t understand you’re confused. It’s all part of grief and the loss of your daughter. Some people grieve for a long time more than 10 years and others are less time but you have to live for today and tomorrow and put your faith in God, and those children have to learn faith and maybe understanding of what has happened besides seeing it why it was done the way it was done if they can understand that it could change someone else’s life and give you a chance to understand it. Better yourself if you can’t deal with it, write it down on a sheet of paper, and put it in a box and put it up on the shelf in your closet. Anything you don’t understand or you don’t wanna talk about right now. Write it down put it in the box in your closet and when you’re ready for it one time and deal with the situation one at a time, it may help the situation and help you cope with things. As I said this is just a suggestion you can take it or leave it like I said sometimes you have to understand the other party why they are like this is it because they have nobody there to live with them they have no family there their families mad at them, you have to understand the other side of the picture on the other side of the coin as they say I have a question for you. Why weren’t the children in their own yard when she’s ask for your children to be in their own yard. You don’t have control of them or the mother didn’t have control of them. I don’t know. I’m just asking? And why didn’t she have control? Was she too busy doing something inside the house to look after her children outside? There’s a lot of questions they’re not not answered here. What’s this the first time she called on your children or has she called on them before for the same problem? I don’t know without seeing reports and viewing videotapes.? Again, I’m sorry for your loss.
Before people start mouthing off about the victim, I implore you to look into videos that cover this case. The lady was calling children slurs, stealing items and creating a hostile environment in the neighbourhood. The neighbours have vouched for this, as well as previous police calls. It wasn’t even her plot of land to be policing. The person who owns it said they are fine with the children playing there. The children didn’t “ruin her life”. Her entitlement did. Imagine stealing a child’s ipad and calling them the hard “-er” and threatening to hurt them. Absolutely foul human being. It was also expected this was pre-meditated as she has search results looking into “self defence” and “stand your ground laws”. She knew what she was doing.

THIS WAS 1st DEGREE MURDER… 1. She was caught searching the standard ground law BEFORE the murder. 2. She never purchased a gun until this situation with the kids and AJ which proves premeditation 3. she’s had 14 documented calls to Police regarding kids playing on a shared yard. This was not extreme noise by any means. 4. She was only 58 years old at the time of the murder. She was not an old woman who was frail and fragile. 5. This was a race related crime as she was documented as using the N-word to describe the kids. She also said the N-word to the kids. She called them all sorts of names and played victim. 6. She baited AJ with the iPad, knowing that she would come to the door looking for it. This was the most premeditated murder I’ve ever seen.

FEAR AND MENTAL ILLNESS (anxiety, depression, delusions). This woman was so controlled by fear that she could not find joy in children simply playing outside. She could only see danger. Her inner world is jacked up, likely full of fear and anxiety/depression and delusions, unprocessed trauma leading to mental illness - clearly unbalanced and maladjusted. I wish the children’s mother could have realized that and not gone over there, which further fed into her delusions of danger. Parents in these situations need to tell their kids to be leery of old lonely people when they display rage and who probably have lots of strange scenarios in their heads. Sad all the way around. Fear in people probably leads to these types of incidents much more than people realize.

An old woman can get hurt badly tripping over skates, so she was pretty fed up they weren't respecting her. I don't mean the mother deserved to die at all. I think the police should have been there.

This woman, if she had a problem, she should’ve called the police. She should’ve waited for the police officer instead of her, taking it upon herself and going to the door of that person. That was what the trial was for. She had opportunity to put on evidence to prove that she did not do what she was charged with. a jury of her peers listened to both sides. consideed all evidence and they all determined that she is guilty
And those two sides where tested - that is what a trial is. The evidence showed that she deserved to be charged for manslaughter and now she is paying with time to be served. End of story.
Age has nothing to do with any of this since it happened in daylight. If at night it would be different. This has elements of trespass, theft, confrontation, and levels of fears. I feel bad for both parties. One wanted to be in quiet and the other had four kids. I’m surprised the stand your ground rule can be questioned so public and direct.

I'm glad they found her guilty. Racism should not be going on anymore.I am praying those young children can stop blaming themselves. They are not to blame at all. I would have waited for her to breach the door before I would have taken action. I think there's fault on both sides. I hate it happened, but you can speed up your life. For the victim, I would not have walked to her house she forgot the overall importance of being someone’s mother. For the accused, she was wrong throwing items at the children, instead she should’ve asked them could they not be so loud. Now both, has shortened their lifespan. @@joes.4149 I had trouble with someone's kids, they were playing at a mock drive by with a teen driving a car... The kids were from ages 6 to 16. Instead of confronting the grandmother, I called the police. I told them I'm worried about the kids, they are just playing at drive by with pretty large play guns. She was a person of a family of five. She raised basically her sister after her brother moved out, because her mother was sick and her father had passed away. Susan turned around and she took care of her mother when she got sick for years she gave her life up to take care of her mother doing it by herself. Now her sister Sandy was married to somebody that was capable of supporting I would say a family of three or more with rental houses so they could afford to help but they didn’t as far as I knew and her brother was mad at her because situation with her mother because her mother turned everything over to Susan. That’s what I know about the family. The last I knew because I’ve tried finding Susan for years. She’s always been a loving person. She’s always loves animals. She’s never gets into trouble. She doesn’t have a record and she didn’t kill that little boy, and I really firmly believe Susan might have dementia and she reacted to a reaction of being afraid. Even the news reporter stated that your daughter or the daughter pounded hard on the door. She should’ve stayed home and she should’ve waited for the police to come instead of going over to Susan‘s house and pounding and thrusting her body against the door. So Susan was in fear for her life. She didn’t make the right decision of waiting in fear. You pull the trigger by accident or by me doing it. I do not condemn her totally I think she should’ve waited and not pulled the trigger, but I firmly believe that Susan did this it self-defense. She just lost your mother. This was back in June from what the newspaper articles had said. I don’t know. I didn’t hear the story until I saw the news of where she was being sentenced. That’s when I picked up on the newspaper article so I don’t know the full story. That’s why I’ve asked for the case so I could look at it being in law-enforcement and being past Medical. But I’m a private investigator. And being as she has no record she will probably get off sooner and maybe put it be put on probation, but she’ll probably wear a monitor, and she won’t have any weapons that’s for sure because they will take them away and if she is found with one, she violates her parole or her time. And she will serve present time, but I don’t know what the outcome was. I have no idea, cause I have not seen the updated report since I saw the day that I responded to the article. Maybe understanding if someone is sick and learning how to help instead of fighting against her might’ve helped the situation as well. I’m sorry if it was your daughter or your niece or whoever it’s related to you she didn’t deserve it and I will say that, but like I said, I do know Susan, and she’s never been that way ever and being as she doesn’t have any record that’s why she probably got a lighter sentence in order to hurt somebody she has to be with an arms reach, even though there was a door between the two of them she was still with arms reach. If she opened the door she would’ve been right on top of her, had she open the door she should’ve waited and stayed home until the police department came. As I said, I do not know what the outcome was other than you stating which you’ve stated here. But like I said, I’m truly sorry for the loss. Nothing can replace a child. I know that first and I lost a child in 2005 that was still born and my son has been missing for over 14 years and I keep my prayers open. Praying that he will come home someday before I die. I know it lost this like, but you had to take one step at a time and day by day and remember all the good things that were there and remember that those children that she has and get a book on dementia and I bet you $10 to a donut that she has the symptoms there in that book that will tell you about a person that has problems with dementia because that’s what her mother had and my mother had it. But it affects other people sooner than others depending on their health conditions. Like I said nothing can take the place of your daughter if this is the mother and I’m truly sorry for your loss. I don’t think this is gonna help you, but it did me at the time I took my classes. When you take up law-enforcement, you have to go through a lot of psychology courses and law-enforcement is the only career that you can come out of and be a social worker as well as being in law enforcement, and not go back to school and taking all those classes all over again. But taking a psychology course may help you understand yourself your feelings and people around you better than what you have right now. It’s just a suggestion you can take it or leave it and go to grief counseling because you’re feeling the loss you wanna hate everybody anybody says anything against this you don’t understand you’re confused. It’s all part of grief and the loss of your daughter. Some people grieve for a long time more than 10 years and others are less time but you have to live for today and tomorrow and put your faith in God, and those children have to learn faith and maybe understanding of what has happened besides seeing it why it was done the way it was done if they can understand that it could change someone else’s life and give you a chance to understand it. Better yourself if you can’t deal with it, write it down on a sheet of paper, and put it in a box and put it up on the shelf in your closet. Anything you don’t understand or you don’t wanna talk about right now. Write it down put it in the box in your closet and when you’re ready for it one time and deal with the situation one at a time, it may help the situation and help you cope with things. As I said this is just a suggestion you can take it or leave it like I said sometimes you have to understand the other party why they are like this is it because they have nobody there to live with them they have no family there their families mad at them, you have to understand the other side of the picture on the other side of the coin as they say I have a question for you. Why weren’t the children in their own yard when she’s ask for your children to be in their own yard. You don’t have control of them or the mother didn’t have control of them. I don’t know. The neighbours have vouched for this, as well as previous police calls. It wasn’t even her plot of land to be policing. The person who owns it said they are fine with the children playing there.

4. She was only 58 years old at the time of the murder. She was not an old woman who was frail and fragile.

FEAR AND MENTAL ILLNESS (anxiety, depression, delusions). This woman was so controlled by fear that she could not find joy in children simply playing outside. She could only see danger. Her inner world is jacked up, likely full of fear and anxiety/depression and delusions, unprocessed trauma leading to mental illness - clearly unbalanced and maladjusted. I wish the children’s mother could have realized that and not gone over there, which further fed into her delusions of danger. Parents in these situations need to tell their kids to be leery of old lonely people when they display rage and who probably have lots of strange scenarios in their heads. Sad all the way around. Fear in people probably leads to these types of incidents much more than people realize.

That was what the trial was for. She had opportunity to put on evidence to prove that she did not do what she was charged with. a jury of her peers listened to both sides. consideed all evidence and they all determined that she is guilty

I hate it happened, but you can speed up your life. For the victim, I would not have walked to her house she forgot the overall importance of being someone’s mother. For the accused, she was wrong throwing items at the children, instead she should’ve asked them could they not be so loud. Now both, has shortened their lifespan. Instead of confronting the grandmother, I called the police. I told them I'm worried about the kids, they are just playing at drive by with pretty large play guns. I said first, I want you to know the kids don't have real guns. I said second, kids are running around and jumping in and out of a slow moving car. I'm afraid they'll get run over. Third, I'm afraid an elderly person might get frightened. The cops came by.. end of problem
