Thanks for sharing I've got 2022 Silverado 2.7 L turbo also it's still got stock suspension but I'm going to get some strut spacers to level the front. With your leveling kit did you also raise the back?
I hate that these new trucks don’t have the refresh interior in them, would be so nice if they did but then again they would be at the price of the LT that has it lol
I got 35s on my stock rims, had a 3 inch in the front and 2 inch for the rear, i had to do some trimmin, but when i got a wheel alighnment they corrected the caster and the toe drag and adjuat the axel, now im rubbin again but now by much, i have to over turn or hit a dip
I wanted to keep the stock rims and go 35s with only a 2" Front level. I have rear air bags. Now I'm thinking that it may not work as I'd like. I don't want to rub or have issues if going offroad or towing.
Hard to imagine they put a 4 cylinder in a full size Silverado crew cab. Is the gas mileage better? Seems the engine would struggle to power the truck and consume more fuel. I got a 22 RST Z71 with the new interior with a 5.3 and wish I had paid the extra and got a 6.2
I personally have a 22 Silverado WT package 4x4 with the 2.7, I haven’t had any issues so far and use it just like any other v8 truck I’ve hauled 9700 lbs with no issues, and my mpgs are around 22highway and combined around 19/20 so decent fuel mileage for a full-size truck, don’t get me wrong I still wanted a v8 but at the time I got what they had but so far I’m impressed tbh
@@bradleydunn3636 sometimes those turbo engines will surprise you. I didn’t test drive one, just wondered about it. I could see it being fine in a Colorado or Canyon, but in a full size I would have thought the weight of the truck would make the motor work hard. Sounds like that theory was wrong based on your comment, thanks
@@bradleydunn3636 The boosted 2.7 sounds like a gas powered leaf blower. Have you heard the cold start from the 5.3? Dude. It's not that much extra $$, and MPG is not much different.
@@chrisb7807 How did this size work out? I just picked up a 2023 TB yesterday. My plan is to add a Readylift or Zone 1.75” leveling kit and do a mud flap delete. I’d love to have a 34” x 12.5” tires in lieu of 11.5”, but hoping not to have to do any cutting.
So maybe someone can tell me why but I have a fully stock chevy 2021 crew can basically looks like this and when I reverse and cut the wheel it rubs... from the factory
Does it rub? Not on the street if you took it offroad and hit some mudholes would it fuck some shit up? Probably. Most of chevys engines are trash because of afm and that 8 speed was garbage, removing afm from the 5.3 or 6.2 and replacing the lifters pushrods cams and rocker arms bullet proof them and make them beasts again though, that 2.7 is a trap, the 3.0 minimax is pretty dope
Love ours. Great truck and the beefed up 2.7 hauls with more torque then then the 6. Good gas mileage, great new interior, I just wish I got the 4wd version so I could go off road more.
I just put those fuel rebels on my 21 silverado 2 weeks ago. Sweet setup man!
About time seeing a Silverado 👏🏻👏🏻
Exactly what I needed to know mark , I have the exact same truck , thanks for the video bro , like always awesome content bro right on 👍👍
👊👊
Thanks man just got me a 22 silverado as well
Top ten videos on RUclips mark vary good 👍
Your upcoming video: selling the tundra Time for a new body Silverado 😂 👍
Hahah not quite yet
Looks proper now
U should look into the fuel clash. They look beast
Good to know I can add 34s on my custom now.
So a 4” lift kit will fit a 35. Yes!!
Not me if I bought a Ram or Silverado or an F150 or even the tundra I would just keep the stock wheels and just put some off road tires.
Nice Silverado, but nice Tundra.
I had the fuel grippers there a good tire loved them!!
Good to know 👊
That custom looks nice, what is the offset of the original fuels ?
Thanks for sharing I've got 2022 Silverado 2.7 L turbo also it's still got stock suspension but I'm going to get some strut spacers to level the front. With your leveling kit did you also raise the back?
I seen a lot that type of your license plate here in Cali. What is the process to get that kind of license plate? Your Tundra is nice. 👍🏻👊
That 4 banger is going to give out , I know some one that had the 4 banger and gave up at 12k mile
I hate that these new trucks don’t have the refresh interior in them, would be so nice if they did but then again they would be at the price of the LT that has it lol
Will this work for a Sierra and is this. 4x4 Silverado or Rwd
that grill front🔥🔥🔥is it stock ?
Whats the mpg look like now? 19/22 to what?
tundra or silverado? which one do you like more??
What kind of wheels are on the tundra??? 🔥🔥
What are the specs of the setup for wheels and tires on the 33’s thanks

positive 18 or -18 offset?
Does that truck have the new 4cyl turbo?
What leveling kit does it have?
Did you cut out the bottom half of the liner
+ 18 offset rims are fine , try -51 offset like mines .. that is where the issue began LOL
What are the tires called that you put on the Chevy Silverado?
That’s the rim size of those fuel rebels?
Yikes I wouldn't cut my truck up like that! Crazy man
If modifying a fender liner scares you, stay stock.
What’s the offset of the rebels?
What rims are those?
The 33's with the Fuel Rebel wheels looked SOOOO much better🤦♂️
Should left 33s and og rims that were on it. Way less juvenile looking, and more attractive than the new set
Only if you have a truck can you give your opinion
I’m wondering if I’ll be able to fit 35s on my leveled AT4
You think it would make a big difference if you had 35s 11.5 ?
In love with silverados ❤
Tundra🤮👎
Control arms?
What’s MPG LIKE ?
What level kit did your buddy put on his Silverado? Lookn to put a Rough Country level kit on my Sierra.
Not sure about his because the dealer already had it installed but rough country is a solid move for a leveling kit. Go for it
@@MarkBrenner appreciate it man and thanks so much for the quick reply! Love the channel 🤙
Better check the clearance when turned all the way with the upper control arm
12.5 or 11.5?
Do you have a video of all the trimming you did on that?
No the truck was purchased just the way it was
Mark,
Are you planning on selling the 33’s along with whatever 20’s you aren’t going to use? I’d be interested in buying.
Send me a dm on gram @mark_brenner

Just got me all black got some 24”s wondering what’s the biggest tire I can slap on it stock lift ✍️
Did you ever figure it out??
Glad I got my 4.3 before it was replaced with this high powered pos 4 cylinder. You ain’t gonna get no booty with that motor
Wait till fenderwell full of mud. Say goodbye to inner fender liners and some body damage

Did you feel the ride quality downgrade after doing the level kit ?
One of the main perks to a leveling kit is it retains factory ride quality
Do you still plan on buying a 22 Silverado?
Man honestly probably not anytime too soon. I still have a lot to do on the tundra lol
Seems like 34s on these wheels would be perfect. Like a 295/60r20. That or 11.5 wide instead of 12.5 would prob help.
This is exactly where I landed

Not sure yet. Ordered the wheels but they were backordered and no idea when they will be in stock. :/

Did u re gear the gears?
Don't need to
Yeah that would contact if he ran over a cigarette butt. 🤣
That 2.7 will barely turn those tires.
So maybe someone can tell me why but I have a fully stock chevy 2021 crew can basically looks like this and when I reverse and cut the wheel it rubs... from the factory
It's rubbing on the wheel well plastic shit inside
Reverse is usually a little worst because trucks tend to sag down when in reverse
How much worst did the ride get after putting load F tires lol
What level kit did you use?
Yikes.
I plan on doing some cutting to put 34's on...
Waiitttt. 2.7 ina Silvy Lol what in Gods Country.. that is very interesting tow capacity 2000lbs??
9000, it’s dope man. Give it a chance. I’m all for V8s sound manly and cool right lol. But this new one has a bit less horse power and 430 torque
9,600
Has more torque than the v6. 310 hp ain't too bad either. $20k less than the V8s
Mine is rubbing with the 3.5 lift on that close spot of frame you were worried about everytime I turn in a drive way
It's literally rubbing at the 4:18 mark.
keep a stock wheel. put 35's on that. will be fine.

NO, the 35s do not fit, they will rub when u hit a small dip in the road, rookie move bro, just trim ur wells so u have proper clearance
2.7 lol
Go raptor!!
These guys' trucks are mall queens, they're not even going to see a gravel road, so rubbing won't be a problem.
Relax Jethro
Wild 2022 with the crappy interior he should have gone used instead
Sell the tundra wanna be, tundras only exist now 2021 and prior…i just traded mine for a rst! Couldn’t be happier!!
Just picked up a RST with the 5.3L last month and I love it.
Level kit is the poor man's lift....put some kings or fox coilovers on that crappy gm
It looked better on the 33 grippers, what a waste
Why the gay azz slap & pop dr. dra beats while showing the fit??
Don't fit if they rub hitting bumps
