Have a 21 LT Trailboss and just did Bilstein 6112's on front with Bilstein Upper Control Arms and Bilstein dual reservoir 5160's on rear. Got approximately 1.25 inches of lift in the front with 0 on the rears, so it is pretty much level and then put 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers (285/75R 18) with the mud flap delete kit and ¼" spacers. Looks terrific is an understatement and gained around 2" of height from the tires and shock height adjustment (but leveled), the tires are super quiet on the road compared to the crappy OEM Duratrac's, and the ride over heavy washboard dirt roads is perfect with zero of that nasty rear end side to side chatter with those junk Ranchos. Didn't expect the ride on pavement to be so comfortable too but it definitely is and if you want a quality set of 35"s for height and quieter performance, a good level truck, a far better and more capable suspension than stock, and zero rubbing at full throw in 4WD then this right here is your formula and you can still use the Auto mode for drive selection unlike regular level and/or the Readylift SST 2.0 kits. I bought a 2020 Chevy Silverado Rst the previous owner lowerd it and had a c-notch put into place with a bolt on kit to help reinforce the frame. I plan to let the truck with a 3 1/2 inch lift. My question is the frame still safe structurally to go off Roading and to e able to load and haul .

👍 OH YEAH on the Classic Muscle Cars. I grew up in the late 50's to the mid, late 60's in my teen years. For my 25th Birthday, I bought a new 69 Chevelle SS 396. Sure wish I had that car today. All of my friends had Muscle cars, Road Runners, Super Bee's,Mach 1's, Chevelle's, Old's 442, etc, etc. Great cars, great times and, a great era.
I've got some stuff coming up that you might like. Thanks man
@@carstruckstv6097 I'm sure gonna look forward to watching your new channel. Nothing like the sound of a rumbling Big Block 👍.
Great video. Thank you so much for your information. I feel like you have great advice!
The Daily Shooter sent me! 😂
Plan to lift the truck
285 70 r18 work perfect with a 1.5 inch leveling kit. no rub. looks awesome
You think 285/75r18 tires would work with no rubbing with 1.50” spacers? I have the 1.75” ready lift leveling kit.
looking forward to more good stuff on your new channel.
Thanks John
Something different, looks like fun 👍👍
Nice job Brother looking good.
Looking for advice I just installed the ready lift2”SST kit in my 2022 trail boss.
I don’t have knowledge when it comes to wheels and tires but I just want to be like 1” sticking out of the truck body and also don’t wanna do any cutting what wheels and tires sizes do you recommend me.
Thank You I really appreciated your help
I forgot to mention this truck already came from factory with 2”lift plus 2” that added total 4”
I am wondering exact same. I’m looking at a 23 Trail Boss LT..want a levelling kit (with the factory 2”), like you, I want a slightly larger tire and wider for a meaty stance. Mine will be coming with 20” rims…I will prob look for the Goodyear Duratrack….they work well on my ZR2.
Have 35s on my 2021 TrailBoss
On the stock 20inch wheels with the 2 inch lift had to cut mud flap and tuck in the fender liner
I am adding a six-inch lift to my 2023 Serra. I would like to know the biggest or widest tire I can go with without cutting. I would like to jump up to a 22" wheel.
I’m running 22s and 37s on my stock 22 trail boss, just factory 2in lift no rub
So 275/ 70-18 should fit just fine on stock wheels which are 33..2" I think the comments about the offset is what really matters. I probably wouldn't go over 33's as I tow in summer pretty regular. And yes they should have put stock 33's on the trail boss from factory. Silly Chevy.
Agreed. Tires way too small from factory
Yep the key is staying with a + to 0 offset wheels I'm running Method 17in×8.5 0 offset on 33 no rub
What size tire? I have the same methods and want to run 295/70 toyo mt

Thanks
Where did you get the bumper?
Great info. Love the front bumber on that truck. Could you tell me who makes it. Thanks. Keep the great content coming
I have a 21 z71 silverado non trail boss leveled with bilstein 5100s. Would 295/70/18s fit with some minor trimming? I guess thats abiut a 34.4 inch tall tire.
I have fuel maverick’s with -18offset I have 285 55 20” on now with no rub so I’m gonna try 295 just to get a little fatter tire 👍👍👍
Hey man, I'm putting some 4play 20 x 10 -18mm wheels on a 285 55 20 on my 2020 Silverado 1500 with 2 inch lift. Everyone is telling me I'm going to have to trim. Sounds like you have a similar setup is that correct? Did it end up rubbing or requiring trimming?
Very nice I've been wanting a chevy on 35 for a while now. Maybe some videos on off road shooting sites
Can you put 285/55/r20 stock without rubbing?
I have 35 x12.50 on my stock 20 inch rims and have no rubbing
Consider wheel offset , tire size ( diameter ) , suspension compression. You're gonna rip the inner fender .
Good info on tire side i've been thinking on putting a leveling kit on my 2018 f 150
Cool content bro, keep up the great work. Thank you for all.the effort you put into your content!
I’m here to lol 👍🏼
I miss my home!
will a 285 75 R18 fit on stock rim and what will i need to change for it to fit on truck?
Good to see you are a Chevy guy!!!
Lol how prices have changed. Ontario 2023 trail boss lt 5.3 try 82 000 plus now. Custom is 70 000 plus. I bought mine new in 21 and only paid 52000 lmfao . I hope these car manufacturers go tits up
I've got a '23 LT TB and am looking to go to a 33" but about .5" narrower than stock. (255/80r17). Should work? I'll also be replacing front bumper.
Did you even think about putting new larger tires on to see if this could be done before making the video?
Do you know if this applies to the zr2 as well? I can’t find anything about zr2 vs trail boss
Good luck with new channel Well
I see you put aftermarket rims, would these tires fit on the stock rims of a 2021 GMC Sierra Elevation? the stock tire is 275/60R20
how are these trucks used found a 2021 trail boss lt
What did you do for the wheel well cutting for the bumper I just got a matrix fab 4 for my trailboss there are tan brackets on the front near the front bumper did you just cut it?
It's the negative offset that causes the problems. If you went to a positive offset those 33's should fit fine rather than going to a smaller tire.
The factory 20x9 is a 275 60 r20 it comes out 32.99 factory I have lt trail boss with the factory 20s I'm planning on doing the sst 2in kit with a mud flap delete kit and a high cearlance bumper and plan on running 37s with a 20x9 plus 18 offset if 18 offset won't work go to 0 offset
I understand he said with out cutting but he has the high cearlance bumper already on it so the only difference between what I'm talking about to what his is. Is just the mud flap delete kit
Good start up 👍
What headlights do you have on the trail boss?
nice... I literally just bought a 2021 trail boss
Nice! Did you get the Custom or LT? I kinda wanted to go LT but I knew I would destroy the leather going off road a lot so I went Custom
LT. not too serious off reading. Use my RZR for that
*off roading
can you do 2" wheel spacers with the stock 20" wheels on the 2022 to give it a more aggressive look?
35x12.50 18’s on just the ready 1 1/4 lift no rubbing
Wish I could figure out how to share a picture on here. I’d love to show you my truck, I think you’d love it !
Congratulations.
Let's talk about that front bumper? Got an install video?
Any issue with your level kit?
Ready lift sales you could fit up to 35 inch tires with that kit !!!! But I put on my 2021 trail boss with 20x9 0 offset and 34 bfg and they rub ! I called them and no solutions !!!!!
What type of bumper you got there
You never talked about the new bumper 😔
What if you got a set of steel 17” spare wheels?
There is so many other options vs 32 straight to a 35x12.5
The video was about how big you can go. You didn’t cover the unknown grey area, like everyone else avoids.
And the grey area is?
You went with a 2.5” wider Tire and 2” less offset…of course it’s going to rub
Great video bro.
Can you put 305/65/18 on a stock wheel ?
LT/ Trail boss
Yes
Nice love the channels
Alright! Let’s do this….
Nice truck
Cool truck.
Wonder how it compares to the Raptor.
Congrats on the new channel and keep up the good work.👍🏽
It doesn’t… are you f kidding me bro… it’s just a basic ass silverado 1500 with a tiny ass lift from the factory lmao. It’s only a trail boss because it’s 1.5” taller than the previous silverados lol
Did you mean 6 to 7 inch lift above the already 2 inch stock to fit 35s? or would a 4 inch lift on top of the 2" stock work for 35's? sub'd and liked :)
Anyone know if these are 10 or 12 wide rims ?
I’ve seen 34.5s fit on stock rims with very little rub no level
yeah but full reverse or off roading and you're in trouble
How about that front bumper
275 7018s will fit as well
You can fit a 35x11.50r18 on a completely stock truck without rubbing
Dude.. you are wrong here. You can put 33’s on with no rub if you dont change wheels. Changing wheels screws everything up
I have been running 33.3" tires on method wheels since the day I bought the truck new off the lot with zero issues. It's the aggressive offsets and wider tires that is the real issue. A 12.5 inch wide tire will rub
First like and comment EVER
Prove it
Lmao. 3.5” level here on 35s- no trimming. Just a mudflap delete. Stop listening to salespeople.
What kit do you have?
