It’s a little confusion between まだ食べない and まだ食べていない. It’s very easy for learner to choose 1st as the answer to have you eaten dinner though the correct answer should be the 2nd.
Yeah! It's like in English you can't say "I don't eat it yet" you have to say " I haven't eaten yet" So in Japanese まだたべない means "I don't eat yet" and まだたべてない means "I haven't eaten yet" language is funny haha

I am assuming "まだ見てなかった" means "I HADn't watched it yet." So I think you would use this to talk about a specific time you hadn't watched it. But you watched it later on. I haven't done much research about it so take my explanation with a grain of salt! ;)
