Jon Ericson me too! I'm a bit sick of the trope of ai turning evil at the end, but fortunately we are getting more and more instances when the ai is actually friendly by programming and otherwise, and it makes good character interactions. Like : K2SO in rogue one Tars in interstellar The robot in Moon Frank and Robot Jarvis and Iron Man
I took the time to hit the button titled "REPLY" to issue the following statement, which is directed toward user vlady100k: Colin Mack's comment was not witty, as witty implies that it was a clever response, or reaction to something that prompted the response/reaction. His comment is not witty, because although the video could have indeed prompted the response, someone could very well say the same thing about any other piece cinematic that is in theaters or will be appearing in theaters.
Upgrade turns 5 today! Still one of 2018's best films by Leigh Whannell Logan Marshall-Green gives a committed performance So many similar parallels to Venom It's fast paced, bloody, and quite funny The hand to hand combat scenes are impressively choreographed especially with the unnerving camera movements giving that perspective The music fits this futuristic setting The story reveals are also quite shocking particularly the ending...you don't believe that the filmmakers had the gall to end it the way they do here I mean whoah.... This film very much presents exploring the dangers of artificial intelligence making us very technophobic giving a sense of dread Yes it's cool seeing the gory kills but Whannell is more focused on the abyss of spiritual despair There are certain things machines can do better but at the expense of replacing human beings, the human soul can be supplanted if not kept in check, are we as people capable of upgrading ourselves or should we?, there's no worth surrendering our selfhood or free will, computers can only do so much, is a fake world less painful than the real one? Ultimately this movie is more than mindless action and bloody thrills; it's the all destroying power of vengeance plus the paradoxical ways science is made by man feeling too eldritch to fully understand This story feels potent now proving not everything cutting edge progression is actually progress Plenty of undertones about man's integration with machines and a great example of a terrific movie what you can do with an immensely small budget
This is the only youtube ad I've ever actually clicked on while in another video. Grats, makers of this movie, you got me interested, and this movie is gonna be AWESOME
one of the best movie I've ever watched. very entertaining good pictures, good cast good storyline good ending good twist just really well made. out of ten, this movie is a real 8.5
No spoilers, but a must see. Will definitely be rewatching this in theatres. Its gruesome, suspenseful, thrilling with so much action and an AMAZING ending. Has its comic scenes but its definitely geared to engage the viewer.
Just watched this movie. BRILLIANTLY AWESOME! The cgi, the acting, the plot, the camera work. Everything is done with skill and passion, spot on movie!! Recommend it to everyone!!
0:14 To anyone who's a car guy, note how the car in the foreground is supposed to be a Nash in the future. That's a pretty odd detail to add considering how Nash and Hudson merged together to create American Motors Corporation (AMC), who was eventually bought out by Chrysler in 1987 to obtain Jeep and quickly killed off. I take it that this is a future where AMC and its remaining properties are resurrected. (Should have went with a Javelin instead of a Challenger then).
Friend. I am talking about my perspective. My opinion. What do you wanna talk here? Your opinion opposed to mine? Because I think we can start without offending each other. I think that visually it could be an incredible experience thanks to the creative use of camera, the choreography and how it helps to make the story more entertaining. At least that's my hope after seeing this trailer. What do you think?
I only just watched this movie a few days ago because I’ve never heard of it and I am definitely not disappointed. It is absolutely amazing and the ending definitely shocked me because I expected another ending, one that I thought I had predicted. If some of you guys haven’t watched it you should!
I LOVED this movie. I went in knowing next to nothing about it and it delivered hard. The skill the actor who played Grey displayed was amazing in the fight scenes. The whole thing!
@@lukecage3485 wait a second... ARE YOU SERIOUS??? i am sorry. i respect your opinion, just surprised, because i thought it was so refreshing funny and just awesome!
@@lukecage3485 I agree. The first action scenes were nice, with Eddie reacting to his performance much like in Upgrade, but then it gets boring when he and Venom go all out Hulk fusion mode. Also, spoilers ahead, the Venom arc is really boring: "hey, I'm bad; hey, I'm good, let's kill the bad guy!".
Lead role: "STEM, he haS A KNIFE!" STEM: "I see that. We have a knife, too." This made me laugh out loud until I saw what he did with that knife. Then I went "OOOHHHH SHIT" XD
hahahahaha. same here... i was like, *laughing* at the banter and his surprised look during the whole fight and then he cut the guys mouth and I was like HOLY SH*T!!!! What tha...???? I'm definetely watching this.....
The movie premise starts to look quite silly once you watch the whole movie and understand the full picture of whats going on, but other than that it is a great movie, had fun watching it!
Acting! Holy shit, that fight scene! Good job portraying the robotic nature of a combat robot and the shock of having their body taken over by a murderbot at the same time!
Camera work seems great, Fights well choreographed, not edited with 15 cut the second. The banter between AI and the guy seem interesting and fun. Yep that feel like a great movie.
Everything looks great, but what I'm most hyped about is the banter between the guy and the AI chip
As long as the AI doesn't go evil, I'll be thrilled.
Jon Ericson me too! I'm a bit sick of the trope of ai turning evil at the end, but fortunately we are getting more and more instances when the ai is actually friendly by programming and otherwise, and it makes good character interactions. Like :
K2SO in rogue one
Tars in interstellar
The robot in Moon
Frank and Robot
Jarvis and Iron Man
They seem to be teasing that they might go that way.
Is it evil to figure out humans suck and need to be killed to advance
MNDFND only if there is a God... Otherwise, no.
Impressive they were able to make this on $3 -$5 million budget.
Went from 0 to 100 REAL QUICK
Jacob Rice NO SHIT
At least it’s not as bad as Lucy
Gotta keep your 100 somewhat believable
Ethan true deffinetly lost interest when she turned into a fucking teee

BADASS MODE ACTIVATE
This film was amazing. Go see it!
I will pay money to view this piece of cinematic entertainment.
I did hit the thumb up icon displayed under your witty comment

It's an incredible movie. I absolutely loved it. It's now one of my all-time favorites. It gets crazy near the end.
Thats kinda how it works
Cyborg Wick?!
Jonathan Mulondo no god wick
He's the white cyborg
Jonathan Mulondo yes
Cyborg venom ripoff?
now that is a terrifying thought
The futurism actually looks believable and plausible. Definitely seeing this hopefully in theatre.
There's literally nothing believable about a chip being able to do all this! (I'm still hyped for the movie though)
Sevendogtags of course there is.
lol mmkay
Maybe not in this scale, but controlling body is relatively easy with proper access to all nerves + no strength limiters.
Upgrade turns 5 today!

We have a knife too!
best line ever
Yeah
That shit had me cracking up. Memorable line
Tom Hardy looks great in this movie
Tom Hardy would fit this role excellently, but this is Logan Marshall-Green, not Tom Hardy.
aka Diet-Tom Hardy
It's his brother, Logan Hardy
Oh to be in the middle of a Tom Hardy/Logan Marshall-Green sandwich.
To be Tom Hardy/Logan Marshall-Green love-child. It would be magnificent
This is the only youtube ad I've ever actually clicked on while in another video. Grats, makers of this movie, you got me interested, and this movie is gonna be AWESOME
Excellent trailer !
no, trailer was meh, movie was brilliant
one of the best movie I've ever watched. very entertaining good pictures, good cast good storyline good ending good twist just really well made. out of ten, this movie is a real 8.5
This looks entertaining. Leigh Whannell did a great job directing Insidious 3 so I’m looking forward to this one
Just watched it, by far the best film ive seen this year! Brilliant
Upgrade 2 (2020)
"You killed my dog."
just watched the movie, possibly one of the best entertaining movies I have seen in a long time, 100 % would recommend
Everyone loves this kind of twist endings 🤔😁👍
LEIGH WANNELL, WELCOME BACK FROM INSIDIOUS LAND!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

"Permission granted!"
"Thank you" 😊
(Cue badassery)
One of the best if not the Number 1 Best Blumhouse movie of all time.
No spoilers, but a must see. Will definitely be rewatching this in theatres. Its gruesome, suspenseful, thrilling with so much action and an AMAZING ending. Has its comic scenes but its definitely geared to engage the viewer.
Can't wait!
Just said the same thing, FUCK YES!!!
Just came from a pre screening Q&A, will be seeing it again when it's officially released here later in the week
Awesome movie
me too going to see it on dvd this Saturday!=3
also hi Scrap Baby! ^ ^
So like Blue Bettle?...
but nicer and probably doesn't try to kill every one
I am glad I’m not the only one who thought of that 😂
Carloswithac You hip to Blue Beatle? One of my favorite characters.
Ooh....what's blue beetle?
zef side He is a cartoon character of young justice. Has a suit that he can do all type of shit. Look it up on You tube.
This looks nuts!!! Hope it delivers!
Why I am being reminded of "Venom" here?
same yet both look awesome
its funny how 2 movies come out at the same time all the time
Same actor
Same dude having his body controlled by something else.
I was thinking about that when I watched Venom
Upgrade was basically what Venom should have been.
Take note Hollywood.. this is how you do a trailer. Great job well done 👍🏽
Just watched this movie. BRILLIANTLY AWESOME! The cgi, the acting, the plot, the camera work. Everything is done with skill and passion, spot on movie!! Recommend it to everyone!!
This feels like a spiritual successor to a book I read in middle school, "Be More Chill". Although with more blood and action.

WTF THIS IS THE BEST BRUTAL MOVE TRAILER IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE I NEED TO WATCH IT
dude, it's good just saw it
Dedsec Official 👍👍 even better than I thought it would be.
I saw it. Trust me, man. It's WELL worth the money. I'd buy this movie twice if it meant I could watch it once.
A highly stylized, cyberpunk action movie?! I'm pre ordering my ticket now.
looks fucking beautiful. Please don't sell it to Netflix. This is for what theatres were made.
For sure reason I was sure this was VoD and I'm so glad I can see this in a theater. This looks incredible.
I love Netflix but yeah, this kind of movies are what theatres were made for.
Epicfania Films looks terrible, the fuck you talking about?
Friend. I am talking about my perspective. My opinion.

Punisher: War Zone + Deus ex = cool movie)
That sounds about right. Sticks and stones!
+ John Wick
Guaranteed to be better than Punisher Warzone
Connor McCartney Punisher Warzone kicks ass!
Daniel Larusso No it doesn't, it was quite bad.
Just watched last night. Awesome film with a chilling ending!
Finally, a movie named after a ben 10 alien.
Watched it last night. I became an instant fan. Great job.
Hardcore Henry vibes.

Anyone know the name of the music piece that they use for this trailer?
Chainsaw by us :D
When the artist answers the question himself.
Great song. Kicks Ass :)
^^ yea great song
The song is awesome. It makes the trailer.
One of the best films of this year.
bloody hell! It took me 15 mins to realize that i wasnt watching tom hardy.
This wasn't on my radar before, but it just shot up my most wanted list. Thanks, Jeremy!
Damn that ending.. I was just like WOW
It's spelled U-P-G-R-A-Y-E-D-D. The two D's are for a "double-dose of pimpin".
(Thumbs up if you get that reference)
good one. really should've been the name of the movie
A pimp's love is very different from that of a square
lmfao are you fucking serious fucking Jeffy reference lmao
isnt that a reference to the film idiocracy or am i wrong?
That looks absolutely amazing. Sold.
I LOVED this movie. I went in knowing next to nothing about it and it delivered hard. The skill the actor who played Grey displayed was amazing in the fight scenes. The whole thing!
Excellent stuff.
Link to the music in this trailer ?
Chainsaw - Losers
Robo Cop + Knight Rider?
+ The Guyver
Iron Man + John Wick
Inspector Gadget + Her
Robo Cop + Matrix? Kinda?
For all those who want to know what the song is at 1:14, it's called 'Chainsaw' by LOSERS. Like this comment so others can see it too!
Jack Healy thanks dude, been looking for a comment like this
Wow! Just imagine that these people were in charge of producing live version of the ghost in the shell!
Looks awesome!

This movie is one of the best i saw since lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time ago.
So underrated. 12/10.
Nice JOB.
This is one of the best Underrated Movie. Really loved it.
Completely unexpected 😱
Saw it last night as well. What a great movie! Totally worth it!
They made a knockoff Venom with a knockoff Tom Hardy???
Yeesssss
It's not Tom Hardy, it's Logan Marshall-Green, who is amazing in the role. He made a fan of me with the way he played this role.
Also Morris this film released in June well Venom released October..
Venom sucked ass. This film was awesome.

Holy hell that camera work during the fight. I'm so looking forward to this.
When is Five Nights at Freddy's movie trailer coming out
Logan Marshall-Green + Leigh Whannell = Cannot wait!
A revenge action flick directed by a horror guy.
You know it's gonna be nasty lol.
VERY good imo. Just stumbled upon this trailer and it made me want to watch it. So glad I did.

That may just be the best quote of the movie.
