tom get flat cardboard for under car, trans slide easy plus easer to slide yourself on pavement plus your t-shirt don't get dirty easy to replace when oily, just get new piece joe from canada
That 57 wagon is a beast! @ 45:19 it looks like on weight transfer it's doing a small, tiny wheelie and shoving the front end over to the right. Last pass looked good. Launch was better. Good changes. 👍
The definition of perseverance is what you and your team project with every video you post. It always pays off. Looking forward to seeing some 5 second passes! So Sick!
A not so Pro tip for you. Bring some cardboard with you. When you go to the track, you can slide things on it without damaging your transmission PAN. And it absorbs liquids and it's more comfortable to lay on. And it doesn't take up much space. Almost forgot to say Happy birthday Aiden!
Happy Birthday Aiden. You and your car are my favorite, A 57 2 door post is the first car I ever cruzed the gut in back in the 70s. All the best too you!!
Great content, my friend. You are going about it the right way. Chicago should be a blast. Great track, and great crowds. I am on call at the hospital this weekend, so I will be watching on NHRA TV. Also great to see Schroeder back out, and Grubby is looking stout. Good luck to all, Happy Birthday Aiden, and more importantly, be safe and have fun!
Tim love you and your team !! Aiden is getting really good and Bobby is just a nut!! Stay safe. Steve is the coolest man there is!! He will help anyone !!! Even us little guys! He gives great advice and can listen to a motor and know if it needs fuel or timing!!
There's something different about this "Track Day: Test & Tune" vid. Seen a ton on a bunch of channels. The framing of the shots & B roll fill is just a notch, or three, above the norm. Watching it while preparing our dog's meal, (he eats healthier than I do) & making my liquid meal to pour through my tube. The cinematography drew me in & felt like I was right there, helping. Kept flashing back on previous Late Night, Flashlight Auto Repair episodes I've had in the past; the cold, smashed fingers on the solvent/fuel swollen hands, the aching fatigue in the shoulders & arms & the dull pain in your legs combine to make your brain dull. Good times! LOL Somebody new doing vids?
@@81carrerascexactly! If anyone is running in the 5s I truly doubt they are “chicken footing it” ! And if he is letting out and still running 5s then good for him!! Pretty sure there is less than 1% of the viewers that have ran in the 5s in the 1/4 I’d bet it’s closer to 0.05% if any. Let alone average in the 5s in a week long Drag and Drive Event!! Gotta love those keyboard warriors!!
I bet Greg didn't realize he was going to be running a therapy session for you guys to stop chicken footing it... lol Keep up the good work! Happy belated birthday Aydan!
Could your issue be caused from where you're jacking up the trans in the middle of the pan? I was always taught to use the corners of the pan to avoid blocking the fluid pickup.
Yeah, he was definitely bummed out when it happened but it doesn't appear that he stayed down for long, which is good. Looks like he's having new car sorting out issues right now.
You're gonna hate that puke tank when you burn a piston. Trust me, that needs to be in the back of the car. I got lucky at Sickweek this year and the first thing I did after pulling the motor out was relocate mine to the rear of the car
Was watching Steves video when building the 2.0 motor. He mentioned using titanium connecting rods. Is he still doing that? using titanium connecting rods??
I think that car will go a 5. I don't think it will do it unless the prep and track conditions are just right. He's not just gonna show up at a random event and bang off a 5 whenever he wants.
That's scary cause now that bit of metal has gone thru the trans. Probably won't be a big deal after the fluid change and hopefully you cleaned ur filter out cause they are cleanable. Should be fine but we shall see.
Happy birthday, Aiden! 🎉🎉🎉 I do have a general question. Why would anyone make a pass with two chutes on board, but one disabled? (My assumption is based on the remove before flight ribbon) Even if it is a planned short-pass, wouldn’t it make sense to have both chutes available, just in case something doesn’t go according to plan? Please don’t take offense, it is an honest question. Thank you for the great content!
Anyone else notice the oil bubbling up inside the breather filter during the 2 step check around 8 minute mark? Keep chicken footin the wagon and we may have to change the name for deuce box to box turtle!
Sure, buddy. Here's my brand new, super expensive, transmission. You go take it apart in a dark parking lot to scavenge parts for yours so you can get some runs. Just put it back together for me. Damn, I need a friend like Steve.
Steve has so many transmissions that Rossler calls him for transmissions. LOL
Glad to see Schroeder back out!
Aye, I came to say this!
@@newklear2k Me too.

Best part of the video was Aiden working on HIMSELF instead of blaming some phantom car issue...then finding a real car issue. Major props, kid.
50:47 - I thought Tom was going to pop out of the trash can with a plug for Sick the Mag!
Wasn’t that Bob?
Aiden "first time I've had a beer" lol riiight
Buys beer, walks out "first legal beer......or first beer period" HA!
Happy Birthday Aiden!! What a great way to celebrate 🎉
It was awesome to meet you yesterday. Thanks again for the hat. 2.0 was rollin’ yesterday
I love the team work, Race Car Problems 101. Just Getter done!
Aiden: I'm gonna stay in it this time
Deuce: tf you are!
I thought Tom was going to pop out of the garbage bin and do a SICK the Mag advertisement… 😂
Dang I posted the same comment, but you were first.
Same here!
Same!
Another awesome piece today. Happy birthday Aiden and good luck Tom

So Sick!
I think Aiden is still scared of the car which is understandable it will take time to get comfortable again going that fast
You exactly right! It takes a while to get past a roll over on the strip or a fire especially a methanol fire.
Loving what u guys do! The behind the scenes, all the footage, sick the mag, merch, keep up the great work.

Cool upload. Good to see Deuce Box getting amongst it
Aiden is so humble. I admire his attitude. Seems like a great kid.
Happy birthday Aiden!!!
Thank you for the video. I enjoy you guys racing adventures.
Hats off to Steve for being the Man he is
AIDEN IT TAKES TIME TO BUILD CONFIDENCE. SO JUST KEEP AT IT YOUNG MAN IT WILL COME .
Happy Birthday Aydan!!!
Happy birthday aiden 🎉
WOW,, what an incredible machine! The car's gonna go 5's,, NO DOUBT ABOUT DAT!!
I love the sound of a 2 step in the morning!!

Thanks for showing your debacle for our entertainment Tom!
Bob is gonna be pissed ! He's the converter guy
The new wagon looks the goods 👌🏻
Steve is the coolest!!!!
That was one hell of a video !!! Very , very well done. Many thanks.
Videographer, content, editing is very good!!!

Tom Bailey ( Superman of racing) Legend..... From Texas .
Man I been waiting for this video great one pulling for buddy
Boy that puke tank filter did not look good
I imagine a lot of that was condensation, but yeah that was ewwy.
Dropping a trans in the parking lot REALLY sucks for an old man, Huh brother Tom. 🤣 At 52 I feel your pain.
Das war ein guter Start ins Wochenende ! (eine Stunde Video, super !!!)
Y'all showed the trash can I was waiting for Tom to jump out and say have you subscribed to the sick the magazine
Tom nice to see you and your son at the track especially on his birthday 🎂 Godbless you both
I hope you get back in the fives Tom, don't let the sorceress beat you!! I am rooting for Sick!!
You got me liking a Kamero. Enjoying your crew.❤
It looks like "Chicken Foot" runs in the family.

Big Keyboard Warrior. Tom has averaged 5s in a week long Drag and Drive. Big deal if they don’t make perfect runs in test n tune sessions.
Need a floor jack specially designed with a wide platform on it just for the trans. Bet Bobby could whip one up in 10 minutes.
Good job Ricky on the video. I like the look of it.
Luke: Hellooo... Raccoon: Oh! The jig is up
Happy Birthday Aiden
Happy Birthday bud so glad to see you come this far keep it up man
I bet Greg didn't realize he was going to be running a therapy session for you guys to stop chicken footing it... lol Keep up the good work! Happy belated birthday Aydan!
Love your guys dedication to what you do amazing keep on wrenching away and enjoy your son and he will enjoy you! Awesome awesome :-)
Dang let’s see you blow them candles out! Happy birthday dude!
Schroder's "Street Legal" VETTE is another AWESUM machine!
Could your issue be caused from where you're jacking up the trans in the middle of the pan? I was always taught to use the corners of the pan to avoid blocking the fluid pickup.
Whenever we went testing, no matter what style of car. We had spare parts, lots of fluids. If we had spares they were always in the trailer.
Hey atleast yall are lifting correctly! With your backs in jerking twisting motions! Great job! 😂
Cleetus McFarland is building the Dale Earnhardt Nascar truck into a full fledge Drag Race Truck to try to Beat the Texas boys at OnDGas😮😅🎉
Happy Birthday Aydan.
20:06 - A hint that someone still finds these go-fast cars a hoot to drive.
How awesome ,I noticed your repping Ken Block's shoes!!!
get some cardboard to lay on you stay cleaner and slide easy, even trans slide easy, then throw away when dirty, and get new
Didn t take that long to get a nice car again than Schroder predicted after the crash in sick week.nice
Yeah, he was definitely bummed out when it happened but it doesn't appear that he stayed down for long, which is good. Looks like he's having new car sorting out issues right now.
When the camera approached the bin I thought I saw Toms hat so I assumed he was going to pop up and do a merch plug again 😂
hell yea and happy bday
Happy Birthday Aiden

22:31 A very happy tree...
Dude You are master!
The sound of expensive race car parts being dragged across the asphalt is worse than the ole teachers nails on the chalkboard. Lol
Happy Birthday Aydan!!! From Sweden ;)
Come on Ayden. Don’t make your first brewster a Girlie man Coors Light. Lol
Congratulations!
Was watching Steves video when building the 2.0 motor. He mentioned using titanium connecting rods. Is he still doing that? using titanium connecting rods??
But the steering does not work with the wheels in the air!
And yes Happy Birthday to Aiden.
Big floppy tyres?? Radials!
I swear that v band clamp rotated on driver side closest to throttle plate? Leaking air?
Wow , you scared me. I thought you hit the fire suppression again.
Can you not use the lift in the stacker instead of pulling the transmission in the parking lot?
Happy birthday Aiden I also washed him Happy birthday on his Facebook
Did the track improve or were adjustments made….the power/tarmac Ying Yang Thang kicked off late in the day for all.
HB…21…✨😎✨
Wish you guys luck and would love to see you run about I'm gonna guess 5:82. Roger
Poor Aiden has the case of the chicken foot that will get you every time
Hey aiden time for a new car mate you got the spooks with that one
Happy birthday!
Do you think ol Cleeter going to get in to the 5 sec club in a steel roof and quater 69 Camaro with a small tire???
He's got the money and motivation to do it, just a question of time.
I think that car will go a 5. I don't think it will do it unless the prep and track conditions are just right. He's not just gonna show up at a random event and bang off a 5 whenever he wants.
@wesw9586 what car hits a 5 whenever they want regardless of the track?
@@dustyaa39 very true. Just with Cleetus and some of the fans, ya never know what the expectations will be.
*Camaro, there is no "E" in the name.
That's scary cause now that bit of metal has gone thru the trans. Probably won't be a big deal after the fluid change and hopefully you cleaned ur filter out cause they are cleanable. Should be fine but we shall see.

Is it normal for the boost pipe clamps to move? The clamp on the driver’s side near the intake rotates when you put it on the two step.
Sure, buddy. Here's my brand new, super expensive, transmission. You go take it apart in a dark parking lot to scavenge parts for yours so you can get some runs. Just put it back together for me.
Damn, I need a friend like Steve.
Maybe Aiden’s seat isn’t straight ? Lol
I was thinking the same thing, even if it is straight they might want to point it a skosh to the left if it makes him more comfortable.
Did anyone run the valves after the second run?
Is dump valve stuck open on trans
