He could just know that Percy was coming by and take over at that store long enough to help him and then just go back to his other godly stuff afterwards.
The thing that makes less sense is him having tons of employees if he can be everywhere at once. Plus kinda ruins the fact that "he's so busy, he has less time to pay attention to his children" but yeah, who cares about giving meaning to Luke in those movies -.-'

Writer guy hasn't changed one iota since pitch meetings started. His writing talents are as sharp as ever!
Producer guy, on the other hand, is starting to get a little cynical with the consistently terrible films he keeps greenlighting. I look forward to the bottle episode where a substitute writer comes in with an actually fantastic pitch meeting. It could even start a little spin-off series that roasts the original series as it reviews actually good films!
There would have to be a movie without dozens of plot holes. It doesn't exist yet.
Could come when Producer Guy has become incredibly depressed, and then as he listens to the pitch he becomes increasingly invigorated and responds more and more excitedly.
“Wow, this movie sounds great, I can’t wait to see how much money it makes me!”

The best feeling ever is hearing Ryan say, 'Soooo you have a movie for me?' Each video you here his voice getting deeper and deeper
That movie was the first movie I ever disliked as a kid. Still don’t understand how they brought the main villain from the final book in on the second movie with him being zero threat. Percy Jackson could be huge if they just stocked exactly to the books. Loved this video!
U know they could have had the same shitty story and just a 12 year old to play Percy and Annabeth and I wouldn’t dislike it that much

Eragon was the movie that first disappointed me. I would love to see a show-scale adaptation of that one as well.
Sticking to the books would require restraint and patience. Every movie studio wants to cut corners, take zero risks, and jump straight to making huge boatloads of money.

The only two things I liked about this movie:
*Hermes and his snakes*
*The way they showed how Percy's marine GPS works*
the marine GPS thing was a cleaver way to show us his power instad of him just saying "I know where we are"
I actually liked the visual representation of his "Son of Poseidon GPS" power, whereas in the book he just knew it. So, kudos to them for making it visual.
Oh yay they got the GPS right, if only they actually improved upon the book's storytelling rather then just ignoring them it and they could've gotten a sequel

Or a sandwich with a reasonably large pickle in it.
Such a wonderful articulation of subpar entertainment. Ryan really sheds light on the ridiculousness of viewership.
You know, the Hermes scene actually makes sense. He's a god... so being in front while also running things makes sense. He can literally be in multiple places at once and needs to follow his nature...
It has been a while so don't remember a lot of details of that scene but I kind of like the idea too. Even if he didn't split himself up or something like that it could still work.
Oh yeah, that’s one of his powers from the books. He was able to do multiple things at once. So was Hera and Apollo, i think

This Pitch Meeting has one of my favorite beginnings of all of them with the “step things up quality-wise” part. Gets me every time.
I never saw this movie. I never plan to see this movie. And that pitch meeting was still funny as hell, keep it up Ryan.
My favorite part in this movie was when Percy did a backflip, snapped the bad guys neck and saved the day.
Ah yesss. Exactly like uncle rick inteanded!
@@MP3RMusic, to be honest, it does sound like a way a protagonist from the Percy Jackson world would defeat an antagonistic monster
Where does that even come from? Pretty much every time somebody posts that like it's as common as "super easy, barely an inconvenience" but I've never seen a pitch meeting video where Ryan actually says it. Serious question.

Every time I think I’m in a spot in my life emotionally to not instantly get infuriated when I hear “the Percy Jackson movies” I hear someone talk about it and before you know there I am ranting about the fact that they didn’t even include the scene where he turns into a guinea pig. I mean that was just comic genius (and you know actually important in setting up Reyna or whatever).
I mean when the underlying conflict across the series is "Something bad happens if/when the main character turns 16" and you have him 16 in the first movie you've already screwed up setting up the rest of the story
