    You're my favorite grappler Craig. I try to emulate your game, I have almost all of your instructionals, and it's helped me beat brown and black belts as a blue belt and I rarely get submitted even by higher belts.
    Thanks for your dedication and great content. You're the man.

    • @SweetNonExistence

      Out of all his instructionals, which one would you recommend the most?

    • @Aaron-bd9sj
      @Aaron-bd9sj 2 года назад +14

      @@SweetNonExistence if I had to pick just one, I'd pick his power bottom because you a complete package for a seated game.
      A close second is his power top which is his passing material.
      I have his first stuff as well which is really good too but it's focused on one or two things.
      These newer instructionals are very comprehensive.
      If you feel like your passing is the most important thing to focus on currently, then maybe you'll choose that one over the power bottom one. The power bottom has wrestle ups, leg locks, guard play and strategy for short, mid, and long range, etc. It's why it's my favorite. But again, the passing one is also awesome because you get a complete passing game.

      Why do u prefer Craig over Gordy?

    • @Aaron-bd9sj
      @Aaron-bd9sj 2 года назад +7

      @@fmcdomer I think Gordon Ryan is the best no gi Grappler in the world. Undoubtedly. I have one Gordon course and it's his mount course (because he has by far the best no-gi mount game and it's the only additional course I've thrown into the mix.
      For me, I like Craig's style and the way he plays the game. I got into Craig because I came from a wrestling background in HS and was looking for no gi stuff (I've never been interested in the gi personally) and I liked his knee shield when it came to playing the game from bottom. He's also funny AF in his newer instructionals and he's clear and simple to understand. And courses are very systemic. They're chunked up, but not too chunked up. You really feel like when you're getting his power bottom course for example, that you can develop a comprehensive bottom game. Same with his passing.
      I'm sure there's other good stuff out there too, but Craig and I have similar builds and I just vibe with his style.

    Also, with Gordon Ryan vs Nicky Rod, Gordon always wears a short sleeve rash guard, but for Nicky he wore a long sleeve rash guard (he switched back to a short sleeve rash guard for the Andre match).

    Your match vs Kaynan was tough. When I saw the size difference I knew you had your work cut out for you, and as the match progressed I could see the physicality difference between you two. With someone so physically strong and technically sound, it would be interesting to see what strategy you could implement in order to secure that W.
