There’s more suspense in this Hotline than any thriller released by Hollywood in the last 10 years. I was white knuckling it almost the entire time. This dude has massive huevos.

He has to follow a person who is in front blocking his vision & trust him to do the right thing & trust him to leave enough room for him to squeeze threw as well the camera guy has to be perfect focusing on his camera angle & whats around him & not crash
no wonder car drivers in NYC hate bikers, jerks like this doing stupid shit swerving all over the place trying to be cool. even pedestrians are like WTF at every red light, everyone has to stop just so this hipster can shoot a film. I mean i love the views and all but this kid has no respect for anybody.
If I did this, at some point I get doored, Or end up Supermaning over someone's Hood, or end up Spaghettified between two buses or end up Ten pin bowling into a crowd of pedestrians at a traffic stop.
If I did this, at some point some pedestrians, or some guy on a motorcycle or a car would chase me and force me to pull over and shove me off my bike and beat the shit out of me. And I live in a city where most people don't even abide traffic laws lol
I saw the original version of this years ago and it was the first video I’d seen of Terry’s and I was hooked!!!! Not just by the riding but also the filming and also NYC. I love the fact that Eric didn’t know or really care about his chain ring and sprocket sizes, his bike was a beautiful Frankenstein of old borrowed parts. Keep up the great work Terry 👍🏼

Basically no maintenance and I think it’s actually quicker to brake when you’re super competent like these guys. Virtually impossible to break if you don’t.
This guy isn't super talented. He's going out of his way to find and create drama at every turn, but he never really reacts well when the drama he's looking for finds him. He causes crashes and near crashes all over the place. I'd call him a showoff with the overly dramatic bodylanguage, but you show off to other people, this guy just seems interested in impressing himself.
@@TheXtrafresh I got why you classify him as a showoff rider, but I think he is between being a good rider and just a dude who look forward to doing some good moves. I mean, he's a good rider who does want some attention

i have a question. i modified an old peugeot j8 from 1977. it now has a 48:19 , but it's freewheel. i like coasting very very much, and i'm just not ready for fixie right now. so my question is: is it ok if i only have a front brake and use the foot as a rear brake ? i hate the looks of the rear brake. can anybody comment on this please ? 10x a lot. greetings from romania
Yeah front break is smart to run on a fixie, especially when starting off. It is good to have a backup to stop quickly in the event of an emergency. You can forgo the back break and skid.

Bold to do this generally but bolder to do it in a country where getting treated at a hospital basically bankrupts you
That is my thought exactly. They all wear a helmet so injuries should all be external but still super expensive , especially the tetanus shot
@@feve6071 what injuries?
I have always said the guy doing the chasing is the better biker.
it's the opposite
i mean the chasing biker gets a slipstream so the leader has to do all the hard work
Lol... depends

This is awesome. It almost looks like a video game!
Crazy biking, great flow. But, car doors are a the nemesis of hubris.
I have to pause the video to mention this, those bullhorns are turnt up! I like to tilt mine down a bit more, but I feel ya!
Just thrilling! What an amazing way to see Manhattan! Who needs an open-top tourist bus?!
Would be "awesome" to see somebody ride through empty streets of NYC with same speed, cadence and style.
During Covid surely there were some wild rides, let's hope to see some videos !
Complete badassery.
Love the creativity and the fun of this one.
Ahhh mannn I miss being able to bike like this in the city. Covid 19 took out all the obstacles, now it’s all empty

I envy NY smooth and flat roads
Also, if you zigzag too much here in São Paulo a motorcycle just hit you full power.
Impressive too that's a gradual uphill climb
Beautifully shot.
