  • On this cut, I'm using the entire usable length of the X axis - 25-1/4". This is a wall plate that needs to span 24" stud centers.

    What was your pierce delay set to in this cut. Love your videos brother, they have helped me a ton!

      With a Hypertherm 85, you should be able to set your pierce delay around one second on half inch steel...
      I'm glad you like the videos, I just don't have very much time to make more....

    Still happy with this setup? I am looking at a similar combo. Do you plan to add THC?

      I have since moved up to a Langmuir Crossfire Pro with THC. I'm still using the same plasma though.
      And yes I would still recommend this setup. It lives in a pretty harsh environment and doesn't get much love and it has never let us down.

    How many amps do you run to cut 1/2? 1/4?

    • @joshuazimmerman8631
      @joshuazimmerman8631  5 лет назад

      I run 85 amps for 1/4" and 1/2". The only time I have dropped amperage instead of raising feed speed was on 18 gauge stainless...
