Bro art wise the System Shock remake looks beautiful. I love how instead of just making everything look more realistic they just enhanced the retro 90's aesthetic
@Nam Gge Exactly! From a lot of the games I’ve played I’ve just come to want style and gameplay over realism cause being realistic just takes too much time and attention away from actually building a good game

Aside from all the Slop comments, I have been playing this nonstop for the past day. This remake is fucking amazing, and in a lot of ways, this kind of makes the original not worth playing outside of historical purposes
Not to undermine the original, that's also fantastic, but to say that it's inaccessible would be the understatement of the millenium

there is *one* thing I feel like the original is worth going back for, namely the really granular player control
And music. Those tunes are amazing bangers with a proper soundfont like arachno. The way remake handled music is honestly mid when compared to the original. You should definitely give the original a try just to see what is missing.

The Medical Magnum is found north-east counting from the southernmost room, near the entrance to the radiated floor room, hidden in the entrance wall. You'll have the chance to grab it once you inevitably have to return to note down the computer node room number.
Aside from that it was amusing to see someone with limited gaming literacy trying to beat it. Trully a humbling moment.
