Sergei Rachmaninoff declared, "I try to make my music speak simply and directly that which is in my heart." Yulianna Avdeeva plays Rachmaninoff’s ravishing Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. “An artist who can truly make the piano sing,” declares Gramophone of this Chopin Competition winner. Also, Manfred Honeck conducts Bruckner’s vast symphonic landscape, the Seventh Symphony.
