    Its beautiful. I love seeing integration with natural ponds. The total man made projects look great but this one is extra special. One of these once I finally win the lottery I'd love to build a wetland filter and waterfall as part of our current almost acre pond! Great videos and even better work. I love it

    What an incredible project and vision from both Ed and Adrian! There is so much education in this video, I'll need to watch it again. I absolutely love the mission of Earth Speed. Wow. The concept of' 'Kintsugi' has captured my imagination. Making something broken, or making someone broken, whole again, is actually a life philosophy. It would change one's entire perspective of the hurts that we experience in Earth Life . . . and what to do about our hurts. I would absolutely shop at a Kintsugi Store.

    Awesome project, we need more permaculture applications for big, refined aquasqape builds.
    I am surprised that it wasn't left to settle in before the fish delivery. I guess with the established ponds, you can cut some corners because it's already inoculated with all the bacteria & and microorganisms.
    Even so, I'm surprised Adrian didn't use this chance for observation, it foundational to Permaculture and the aquascape method of pond building.

      Ikr There's two massive ponds that could have been upgraded. Why build an aquascape pond next to it?

    • @Eric.Mercado
      @Eric.Mercado Год назад

      @@prettywitty9051 Are you sure you actually watched and paid attention? Upgrading the current ponds on the land is exactly what was going on and why Ed was called in. Those two ponds you are referring to are not ponds, they're wetlands for filtration. The water is being pumped from the massive ponds up to the wetland to be filtered and pumped back into the massive pond.

    • @Eric.Mercado
      @Eric.Mercado Год назад

      Perhaps you're watching the wrong channel then. This series is a perfect example of what Ed the Pond Professor's channel is all about. Sure, he builds ponds, but the focus is more on science, biology, and filtration. The series was about upgrading the massive ponds by adding two large wetland filters to clean the dirty water. The water is pumped from the massive ponds up through the wetlands, gets filtered, and then falls back into the pond.

    🤔how exactly is this going to be a pond for a sustainable food source. This is so dang tiny. Should of just put some goldfish in it and a bigger and much deeper pond for the food fish. This is just something pretty t9 look at and entertain children with.

    • @Qyngali
      @Qyngali Год назад +1

      Maybe you should look at the overhead shots again, and also see where they released thee fish.Hint: there's more water on the property than the pond they built. And you can see where they released the fish in the video, maybe you can spot it? Who knows.
      Ok another hint, what you referred to as ponds are not ponds, they are wetland filters.

    • @edwardsdeacon
      @edwardsdeacon Год назад +1

      @@Qyngali none of that is of any relevance. None of that has anything to do with that small ass pond. The other pond can be for food and the small pond which is unsuitable for game fish and get a few goldfish.
      Side note keep that passive aggressive shit to yourself.
