    Enjoying these beautiful interactive dreamscapes is the highlight of our days. I love how you lowered the feature to create a better, more natural appearance and function for their guests. Bigger rocks, bigger reservoir, bigger fish, bigger obstacles, and a much bigger transformation! You guys rock, literally.

    This was fun to watch! I have never been to Park City - my in-laws used to have some condos in Midway. Guess next time I go to Utah I’ll have to do a drive-by!
    I’ve seen that stone used elsewhere in Utah. Finished pond looks amazing, with understated elegance that is befitting the hotel. Also - that red tree is gorgeous!

    Nice rebuild! Worried with the issue of water runoff from the roof thru the pond and contaminates. And wondered if the water flow 'dead zones' facing the driveway will accumulate debris instead of the skimmer. Video footage did not showcase the waterfall and lighting so looking forward to a later revisit especially with winter ice. Great and quick results at destination location! You guys are amazing.

    • @TEAMAquascape
      @TEAMAquascape  11 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you! The runoff should be no issue with the biological filtration in place, we also have maintenance teams that come in regularly as well. The jets were added along that area so there’s no more dead zones.

    My husband and I are currently building our pondless, and the same thing happened to us. Got our aquablox and pump vault perfectly level and in the ground, and began placing a few rocks. Called it a night and woke up to all that work being undone by a crazy rain! The hole filled up, and everything heaved up… all of our hard work the previous day LOST! Learned that lesson the hard way.

    What specific changes do you make so that it can run all winter long? Also, for jets that keep ice open in the winter and circulate water in the summer, how do you calculate how many GPH from the pump is needed for each jet?

    • @TEAMAquascape
      @TEAMAquascape  11 месяцев назад +1

      During the winter if we keep it running then we clean up any debris,add cold water bacteria, and do light maintenance like topping off the pond and preventing the surface from freezing over. With the jets, you can add up to 3 of them to a pump and control it with a ball valve.

    • @oreospapa
      @oreospapa 11 месяцев назад

      @@TEAMAquascape thanks for answering! Is that 3 in addition to a bog or waterfall, or do 3 jets use the whole pump capacity on their own?

    Looks amazing! Just wondering how often you all use a cement fabric underlayment in your projects, especially on naturally sloped hill areas. Would this eliminate leaks in the liner and ensure the feature from having to be torn out and redone? What's the longevity aspect of cement fabric vs plain underlayment fabric? Thanks

    • @TEAMAquascape
      @TEAMAquascape  11 месяцев назад +1

      We use the concrete fabric underlayment in almost all of our larger projects, it is sturdier to help protect the liner from getting damaged, just ensuring more that there won’t be any leaks. It is much more sturdy and lasts longer than just fabric underlayment. The cement fabric also protects the liner from any rodents, aggressive tree roots and stuff like that as well.
      It’s an added layer of insurance.

    • @kimpergerson8384
      @kimpergerson8384 11 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for the clarification and confirmation. A gentleman from Pacific Pond and Waterfall in Martinez, CA advised that the cement underlayment was the best insurance for the longevity of the water feature. Although expensive, I think it'll be worth the initial cost to protect such a large investment. Gearing up to install a 25ft pondless waterfall to maximize and enhance a 10ft slope at the back of our yard.

    The shape turned out really well and interesting considering it was one big rectangular hole to start with. 🤍🩵💙
