high textures on Streets will max your 4090 VRAM out (if your in raid long enough and dont restart every few raids) and then start utilizing your Physical Memory, and if you only have 16gb it will utilize all of that too and then start using virtual memory on your drive. IDK if thats considered a bottleneck but just thought Id let you know because its just insanity, also lowering textures to Medium doesnt seem to help FPS performance on streets although it does prevent your GPU VRAM form being 98% utilized to about 50-60%. Im working with 7800X3D | 64gb DDR5 | ROG STRIX 4090 | 1440p resolution
The thing about Tarkov optimization is all the bugs. I’ve been dealing with a bug where my fps drops after every raid and I have to restart the game to fix it. ISLC doesn’t help. Also, if you go into the hideout, a stutter will start and continue into raids. It’s honestly ridiculous lol but I still play every day.
that is annoying.. it consistently gets worse after every raid, like same map? I've noticed the hideout issue too. I always restart before going into Streets if I've touched the hideout for this reason lol. But, like you said, it is what it is. Still my favorite game, still the most challenging and best game I've ever played. Love/hate relationship. hahah
@@pyurologie No it doesn’t consistently get worse, it’s almost as if it’s soft capped or something. I’ve seen the same thing in a video on here where they call it a nvidia reflex bug, but mine is happening even with reflex off in the game and control panel. On Streets when it’s bugged like this it can go all the way down to 50fps, but when it’s NOT bugged I can get anywhere from 95-140fps on Streets.

Hi, I've been picking parts for my PC this past few weeks, right now I'm undecided between the 7800X3D and the 7900X3D. Right now the 7900X3D is actually cheaper so my question is, does the 8 core CCD of the 800X3d make that much of a difference compared to the 6 core X3D of the 900X3D? What should i pick?
both are the same for tarkov and for most games as well. very few games will actually show noticeable difference btw both chips. i would go with whatever's cheaper. but like @xArtikxGaming said, with the 9800X3D release imminent, I would wait for that release and then see how prices settle. what is the difference in fps on streets with a 7800X3D between 23H2 and 24H2? Other games got a nice chunk of extra FPS through it I've heard, but I, for whatever reason, can't even download the update yet.
