most likely RAM speed won't really affect the 9800X3D either, but it's yet to be seen.. testing coming soon

@@pyurologie Yeah I know, it will be the 1% top FPS and 0.1% lows you'll be chasing but still nice to get as good RAM as u can while making a whole new build anyhow :)

@@laggmonstret i understand. never gonna hurt going with higher rated hardware. Just for reference, I also tested secondary timings against high frequency and even "cheap" sticks with tightened secondary timings performed better than high frequency sets. If you just want best "rated" stuff, go with 8000 set but you may not see much improvement really

hi, no i have the original ROG Ally Z1X. It's a more powerful device and can run higher graphics settings in games, but it eats a lot of power when you push it to its full potential, which requires being plugged in. That kind of makes it being handheld moot, you know what i mean. I love my ROG Ally, but as a handheld portable device, Steam Deck is still better. ROG Ally is very powerful though and great to use if you plan on leaving it plugged in a lot.

awesome, yeah i've played 2K since the original on dreamcast hah. I like the new animations, but coming from 2K24, the movement feels a little "floaty", like they're on ice skates. I'm getting used to it though, still enjoying it.

honestly, you'll get very similar performance whether you use a single tower or even go with an AIO. I would choose based on budget and aesthetic preference, overall there will be very little performance difference between all 3 with an X3D CPU

yeah it's a pretty decent flip. a lot of the item values have changed since i released the video as we get later in the wipe and more people have leveled up traders. SE-5 still profit though, both colors

both are the same for tarkov and for most games as well. very few games will actually show noticeable difference btw both chips. i would go with whatever's cheaper. but like @xArtikxGaming said, with the 9800X3D release imminent, I would wait for that release and then see how prices settle. if you want best bang for the buck, you can drop in a 5700X3D and see about 20-30% increase. If you can afford the upgrade to AM5, I would wait until 9800X3D releases in the next couple weeks. I think many people will be selling their 7800X3Ds and prices will dip for 7000s or get the 9800X3D if you can. Either way, I would either get the 5700X3D now or wait for next gen since 9800X3D release is wtihin a couple weeks. I have never tested with a spoofer or VHD unfortunately, so I would only be able to speculate.. never tried it myself

@@sarcasualindividual KB5041587 was a patch to 23H2. It's integrated into the base of 24H2 which is why you can't find it. TLDR, you already have the patch.

what he said ^. if you have 24H2, it's built in. They also rolled it into a subsequent 23H2 patch, a viewer told me the number, but I'll have to search to find it again

Ya, have a 5800x3d and a 7800xt and only way I get any smooth gameplay is scav runs, which are server hosted. Can literally feel it when AI spawn in on any locally hosted games.

yeah.. unfortunately since they changed it to client side hosting, performance has been realllllly bad. if you have an AMD GPU, you can use FMF2 to get good frames again and FMF2 input lag is almost nonexistant: ruclips.net/video/1dJhGLdn2EI/видео.html

​​​@@pyurologie That's true, I've played a lot of raid in coop on Factory and Customs during the event at +120 fps, then switched to Shoreline on local and got 50 to max 70 fps for the entire raid. This is so frustrating.

so sad.. people were complaining about long matching times in PVE when everyone was expecting instant loading. So, they made it instant, but halved everyone's FPS by going local lol... damn
