Great vid for sure. Now if I can only make my mind up on which GPU I should get I'd be fairly close to finally upgrading my computer. My i7-6700k and GTX 1070 are not handling Tarkov that well...🤣
@@pyurologie 140+ fps with a 1070 is amazing! I was thinking to go with a 4070 Super, but have started considering a 4070 Ti Super. Dunno if it's woth the 40+% price increase though. RX 7900 GREis also an option.
Any idea if the 9950 will overtake the 7800x3d for Tarkov? Thinking specifically 4k / 1440. Also likely pairing it with a 7900 xtx or a 5080 when it releases, if that matters.
i think if anything, they might match but wont exceed 7800x3d gaming performance. I think well have to wait for 9000x3d series for the next jump in performance and i dont think it will be a huge jump either
patch 14.9 tanked streets FPS. Right before this patch, you would have had 120-140 fps like this video from patch 14.6 ruclips.net/video/v2QCG6D8FqU/видео.html
Hello, im planing to build a new computer to play tarkov, would a setup like this be ideal? 7800x3d and a 6950xt in terms of price/performance and futureproof ? Thanks a lot.
jesus 100fps on 1440p? I get 30 on 1080p, been thinking of upgrading to a 5800X3D, it should easily be enough to get bearable fps on 1080p. only played streets for the kappa required quests and doing those was a pain aswell
yeah patch 14.9 absolutely tanked streets FPS, but it was possible to get 100+ easy right before the most recent patch with a 5800X3D. I think they will fix it soon, hopefully with the new wipe
My cousin had a 5600 and 6700xt and we mainly play streets and he’s tired of his pc running it slow and sometimes stuttering when getting into a gun fight. Is the 5700x3d a good enough upgrade? He mainly gets around 40-50 fps
@@coolbreeze7132 Why exactly 5700X3D and not 5800X3D? That would be the better choice for AM4 in the long term (like if he cant buy whole new platform in the next months). Especially in CPU heavy games like Tarkov the FPS should be around 20+ higher with a 5800X3D compared to a 5700X3D.
This video is perfect for my brother we were just talking about this
awesome! hope it was helpful
Thank you man for answering my question with a video. TOP MAN!
you're very welcome, thanks for checking it out!
should have also tested results with a application like discord opened in the background;)
that's a good idea, i'll do it in the next one
Buyanov promised to slightly increase FPS in August. Just wait
performance was pretty good right before fog removal in 14.9, i think theyll improve it again
this guy and Klemintine make the best tarkov performance videos
thank you!
dam i was thinking about upgrading but i get the same frames on an i5,
I like your tarkov videos

until you decide GTX 1070 is just fine with a good cpu.. check out this vid of a 7900X3D + GTX 1070: ruclips.net/video/yZNhU5oWxok/видео.html

I want to see you make a video about different CAS Latancy ( Same Size , Same Speeds) and different Speed ( Same CL , Same Size)
already done it, very small difference ruclips.net/video/PbK0bncyh6w/видео.html

Did they fix poor fps on streets? I'm getting around 70-80 fps average with 7800x3d and 4070. I tought i will get 100 fps easy

I get the same with 13900k RTX 3090 5400MHZ of ram. If the raid is not loaded I average 102fps. In a full raid I get the numbers you displayed.

what gpu are you using in this test
i showed all specs in the beginning of the video and list all specs in video details for reference, but i used a 6950xt

I average 80 fps on offline streets with the 7800x3d and 32gb ram. I don’t get how you’re getting 120

for gaming.. nope, here's my A620 vs B650 vs X670E comparison ruclips.net/video/p530Zqt7Itc/видео.html
