Havent been able to get the bluetooth connected yet thats been a pain but other than that its doing a good job.

Linak is making diferent control panels for their tables that works with Idasen as well. DPG1C allows you to have up to 4 position stored, reminder and auto lowering and rising without holding the lever. Also linak is making macos and windows app, which reminds much better then the mobile app :)

Thank you so much for the reply! Have you had any issues so far with leaving the power brick in the frame? I'm looking to also cable manage similar to your setup. Thanks again for the great video.
Just got my replacement desk after motor burnout after a week of having the first one. i dunno if it was a loose connection with the power cable or a strain on the cable as the first one i left hanging out connected to the transformer. this time i put the transformer inside in the groove of the frame. i was a bit alarmed at the first one when the motor burnt out it made a slight crackling sound and a small amount of smoke came out. For the new one that arrived, i'm gonna plug out every time im not using for safety purposes.
do the monitors shake or do you feel the wobble when typing? i am looking for a standing desk and i've heard most standing tables wobble enough that your screens shake while using them
There is a company that tested some tables for front to back and then left to right wobble. This table had the best score of any table tested for front to back wobble. Right to left was also good.... I got the same setup this table and edifier speakers xD
Great video! Is your table top stable when in maximum height position? My monitor tends to shake a bit while typing on the keyboard, do you also experience something similar?
@@jordanash Mine is also in the arm of the desk, but when I bend under the desk I can hear it (humming, buzzing), I wonder if it's a problem or is it supposed to be like that?
Hey mate, excellent review. I had a question regarding the weight capacity, is it capable of holding your 2 monitors and the desktop PC as well?. Edit nm you seem to have already answered that at 4:27.
Great video, thanks for posting! I'm thinking about buying one of these, but I want to mount a heavy duty cpu holder under the desk. What is the distance from the front edge to metal that spans the length of the desk? Is the desk strong enough to hold the screws?
Hi Jordan, late question on this table. Is the table top the matching Idensen or another? You mentioned that you positioned the controls on the side. How did you attach them? You just screwed them or did you pre-drilled the table top bottom? I have a 120cm table and I've set them on the predetermined place but when I have it on the low position and rotate I touch the controls with my legs and want to move them to the side.. Thanks.
Hey man! Know this is super old but has the desk held up since? Have a monitor and a pc on the side of the desk but worried about it breaking over time due to weight
i just got idasen desk few days ago, now i have problem on setting up my dual monitor with 1 pc all on the desk. 160cm is not really enough for me, my previous desk is 180cm.
Hello, the video is so hold you might no see this question but can i ask, is this table extremely stable to rapid movement? as an osu mouse player my desk shake left and right whenever i've to sped up, will this desk do that?
Hey man I like your videos! I just bought this desk. Does the table top feel pretty solid to you? I plan to put a dual monitor mount on it. Do you think I should reinforce the mount base? I know past ikea table tops have been pretty thin. Thanks again!
Thanks man! Yeah it does, you could no worries at all. I have a triple mount to go on this at some point. I doubt you need reinforcement as it's solid wood.
Thank you for the video! It helps out a lot! I do have one question though. You said in the video (1:37 - 2:15) that you were using about 6 plugs and some pc cables that you stashed under the desk and that the normal netting isn't worth using, simply because there isn't enough room for all these cables. Would it be enough if you just used one large power adapter (room for 8 plugs) and without the pc cables? I'm thinking of buying this desk in the upcoming months (but the dark gray / brown version)!! Greetings from The Netherlands!
Overall very good, I'm now using this as in this video again. The only thing I don't like is the controller for height, the modes you can program I can't remove so it stops numerous times when putting it up, which is annoying. The only problem now is that desks like the Maidsite that I looked at offer a lot more given the technology has evolved a lot in four years. Video of that here - ruclips.net/video/D_Nc3McSzLE/видео.html
One of the legs of my IDASEN desk is locked in a specific position, and the other one (master) has moved all the way down (it won't move up). Now I have a desk at a 45 degree angle which is not very useful. The engine tries to start, but it seems like something is blocking it. Resetting methods found on the internet aren't working. Has anyone had such a problem and knows how to solve it?
Hi, Jordan, thanks for posting this video (and the others)! Have a question, does this desk need to be up against a wall in order to prevent wobbling? We're currently planning on purchasing it to double as a work table and dining table in our tiny temporary flat while looking for a larger place. Thanks!
Thats such a poor cable mangement. Use the net and screw the power brick to the underside, mines all tidy with no extra purchase. But I agree the app is a bit mehh, and desktop app does not work either with this model apparently. But at least I can use the app, you made it sound like the mobile app does not work at all for you?
Hi Jordan. Thank you so much for your video. I'm looking to get this frame, but with a custom tabletop that measures 80cm by 200cm. Ikea recommends maximum size to be 80cm x 160cm, but I don't think there should be many issues with an extra 20cm at either side. What do you think? Also, would it be possible for you to let me know the distance between the inside of the legs (when the frame is extended to its maximum length, which I think yours is)? This setup will be for 2 people side by side, so just wondering if there is enough space there for 2 chairs, or will the 2 users have to kinda saddle over the legs. Thanks
Hey Henry, Thank you for watching! I think that would be fine, just make sure the desk support is flush to the desk (horizontal bar) and that you don't put weight over the edge of the frame. The gap is 128cm, or 51.5 inches. You could work two at the desk, but there's not a lot of arm room, to be honest. It can be done within the frame, but I wouldn't like to do it. If you can put up with doing it outside, then yeah it'll be fine. Also, I saw your email, but replying here as I keep that strictly for business, I hope you understand (It should have business only in brackets).
So, how did it all work out? I am having the same idea, so wondering whether it will be stable and no wobble will be present. I am thinking to get Karlby table top and its 186cm long, btw
