I’m with you! I just never could spend that much money on a flatiron. I use one that I purchased on sale for $40 at Sam’s Club about 10 or 11 years ago, and I have no idea the brand! It still works well, so I won’t be buying a Chi anytime soon. But it’s so nice to see a review on the Chi. I’m sure the plates are well worth the price, and I have to admit they probably would do my fine hair well!

I've been looking to buy a flatiron and I like the fact that this is ceramic, has auto shut off, temp setting on the handle and an extra long cord. Unfortunately my Penny's did not have this one in stock but I got the Mauve Mermaid one. Will pick up tomorrow! Can't wait to try it out! Even better got it for $80.99.

It's very attractive. I have never used a flat iron. I am not interested in paying a high price for experimenting to see if I like it. Now if octoly sent me one I would definitely try it 😄

I LOVE my Chi flatiron! I bought mine 20 years ago at a beauty supply house and it was $100 back then ... so they haven't raised the price in 20 years :O Mine still looks and works like it did when I bought it. For me, it does give me silky, smooth hair. I am one of the unfortunate ones who has hair that the cuticle does not lay down. The flatiron lays that cuticle down and that makes the hair silky smooth. For those who would like a pretty one like you have, Chi does have one on their website called "Petal Party." As to the warranty. If I do the math, my Chi has cost me $5 per year ... not a bad investment at all :)

I bought all my Chi hair tools from TJ Max and the prices are amazing I paid $22.00 for the chi hair dryer and it’s amazing. I don’t care for the flat iron because it doesn’t have temperature control which to me that can cause damage to hair being too hot. I love Hot Tools brand because they are high quality half the price and you can control the temperature. Checkout TJ max for all your hair care needs.😊

I have like 3 flat irons. Never happy with what I have. Beginning to think it me not knowing how to use it correctly. Lol ! Would like to know the price anyway. I'm sure it's costly. Ave a great weekend! :)
There is a learning curve with the use of a flatiron, that's for sure! I had someone tell me JC Penney's had a coupon you could use on it and it brought it down to $80 and free shipping! Not too bad😘 Hope you're having a great weekend too!💖
I just saw an ad on facebook for a wig and it was your hair. Are you aware of this?
Ugh...yes....unfortunately this has been going on for awhile. People keep reporting the ads to Facebook and leaving comments that it’s fake and the company just sets up a new ad or deletes the negative comments. Two ladies that I know of ordered it before learning it was a scam....one lady described the wig as looking like a dead beaver and the other one like coarse dog hair. It’s terrible!!
