Hitting armpits and the inner elbow is allowed. Hitting them in the soft bits means they can’t hit you back/takes them out the tournament. Unless the rules have changed?
@@SWRIDE. I’m just going by Buhurt International rules. Might be different in other rules/leagues but the prohibited strike zones are the feet, back of knee, groin, back and front of the neck and the base of the skull.
@@SWRIDE.you are allowed to hit certain unarmoured areas mate. Armpits, inside elbows/bicep, arse cheeks, back of thigh are all legal strike zones even if unarmoured
I've been hit in the buttcheeks, back of thighs, inside of bicep numerous times. It's 100% authorized :) As a personal rule I try to avoid hitting dead center of armpits though.
@@chainsawchanselour5452I don't really find it that shocking that you interpreted it that way. The intention could have been clearer. You aren't allowed to stab because the end of the blade could sneak between gaps in the armor and helmet and slice the person like in the example. By hitting with the long side of the sword, you invite less chances of sneaking into small openings in the armor. The video is sort of like an inversion of a stabbing. I hope that clears it up man. If not I can try to explain my understanding of the example better. Edit: I think he uses this as an example because there probably isn't much footage of people being injured through purposeful stabbings because of stabbing being illegal. So he used relatable footage despite it not being 1 to 1.
@Petrslav I understand your point and I knew this But I was pointing out how he basically ran head first into a glaive someone wad holding and his helmet sucked so bad that he got deformed
But theres a sketchy painting of Jesus, an angel, and what might few a Wolfrib so it's historical. (calm down fellow nerds, other two paintings are just copies of the first)
It's a wolf rib helmet. You sacrifice a bit of safety to be able to breath and see easier. I've accidents happen with this kind of helmet on reddit a couple of times, and it's almost always due to stabs (which are illegal). So as long as stabs are not allowed, and people try their absolute best not to do them, this helmet should be safe for the most part. It's not a crappy helmet, it's actually very historical. It's just not as protective as a full face helmet for example, but people know the risk when they use it, as it has it's payoffs.
i Got a question its not aloud to hit the Gambeson ? in witch rule set its importen for my for my next turnament becaus i had enemy witch love to do that.
Gap shots are most definitely legal… Rude, yes, but Legal.

Yeha man iv had a deeper look! Looks like it’s legal now!
I would like to pay to have a demonstration of two knights battling on exhibition in my backyard, my grandchildren would love this
Reach out to a local club. I imagine you'd easily find someone who'd jump at the chance to get paid to do the sport they love.
bro saw the weapon just hanging out in the open and he decided to open helmet head butt it

Sam is it also not allowed then to strike the armpits with a kick or shin (not weapon)? Or punch there? Thanks.
I have seen fights where a low kick was thrown repeatedly and itnwas allowed
Is that a fort in the background withe the flags or just storage?
Awesome stuff, would love to see a pro fight rules video
This is so dangerous 😂
Wow!

Is breaking collar bones allowed
With an axe strike downwards? Not just legal but encouraged.
