It's an 1989 going by the green subframe (88 was silver), rotor and larger forks that changed 88 to 89. 88 and 89 both had 1 radiator . I had an 88 brand new back in the day and almost bought an 89 the next year. 88 and 89 were near identical but 89 brought bigger forks and different cylinder porting, most favoring the 88 porting. Some covet the forks from an 89 as the best and last of the conventional forks. 90 went upside down. 89 euro models had usd forks, usa had conventional
@bearkreekboys it's looking like it's only 1 the tank says it all and its too big and different shaped to be an 80/85 tank I've got a kawi/yamaha dealership near me and they got oem parts diagrams with oem part numbers if you want a link to their site
There hould be a right and left radiator, if im not mistaken. It gets covered uo by that super awesome kx plastic. The exhaust will come up close to the bottom of that radiator. I really love this look. They have the anniversary edition at the shop near me.

Yeap 89. I haven't checked the diagrams to make sure it has 2 or not

Sweet thanks for info!!
KX125 only has one radiator. Some 2 strokes above 125 usually has 2, or one massive radiator.
