Buying cheap 2 strokes us such a fun project. Theyre much easier to work with and can often get entirely modern looking parts. My friend rebuilt one and I'm probably going to buy one to do a full build soon.
I love re style kits. So much so that I have actually done my own over the years. Many years ago I fitted kxf250 2010 plastics to a kmx 125.i fitted my old ktm plastics to a Chinese thing then sold it at a huge profit. My current kxf250 is a 2010 and I have 19/20 plastics fitted. I always find a way to get them to bolt up. And I'll always do it unless it's something cool from the 70s or 80s then I'll leave them original
@@KincadePavich it's worth trying it some time. Obviously some won't work without a bit of cutting but if you cut and wet send them so it looks like a factory shape then you can't tell. I only do it if I have the parts laying around. I recently bought a AJP pr3 125 that had no plastics and it now has kxf plastics on now but they are now matte black instead of the green. I flip bikes too, I always go for a Restyle kit. I always put modern graphics on to match the restyle, make it look new and fresh. The original style graphics you put on aren’t for me, kind of takes away from the restyle kit. But maybe some guys like that. Keep up the quick flip videos like this! I love these kind of videos! Nothing like the thrill of making a good profit after a fun quick build.
it looks nice and clean for a older rider. I myself liked tricked out look and not a fan of oem style but I know a lot of older riders prefer the clean not over the top oem look.
I see this a lot and that alot of people havent heard about it, when you load your bikes tuck front wheel in the corner of the bed then hook the pegs with a ratchet strap on the other corners. Saves the forks!!!!!
Kincade... Great rebuild, but an even better video! Love the basic voice over walk through, kept my attention the time and never felt I needed to skip forward. This will get A LOT of views.
Wow man, what a beautiful bike! I'm totally biased for Kawi. I think the modernizing of the old bikes is really awesome! Grew up riding 2 strokes, been on a 4 stroke kx 450 for a while, and really really want to pick up a 250 2 stroke again. Something like this is absolutely perfect! Nice man :)
Really enjoy seeing your work! I just picked up a really nice 2003 ktm125 sx, unfortunately it needs a new cylinder but that just gives me an excuse to frame it and do it my way. It to will be a budget build, but for the 300 bucks I paid for I should be able to flip it easily.
