I just came across your channel and binge watched about 3 hrs. Lol great work! You seem supper knowledgable for a young guy! I wish i had your skills, to work on my stuff! Keep it up!
Absolutely love your vids man. The effort you put in for the camera angle, the way you explain what you’re doing and just keep it interesting. Love it keep it up man.
I have a love hate relationship for your channel. I do love the content because it’s great content, but I hate it because it’s great content. You’re teaching everyone how to do what you and I and many other have been doing to fund hobbies and now people are going to start doing this more and more destroying the used market.
This is the second video I've watched of yours, start to finish. Man, good job. Not only your mechanical ability but your video skills too 🤙 i think you're my new favorite channel
That means a lot! Thanks a ton for taking the time to let me know. Welcome to the channel 🤙🏻 funny enough, I just bought this bike back from the buyer. Will be making content on it again later this summer!
Nice job on the video and the bike. A lot of my career is fixing other people’s mistakes. I feel without guys who like to do things themselves I would not have a career. As frustrating as it is to fix other people’s mistakes it really is my bread and butter.
Well done dude. I learned how to rebuild my dirtbike w your and other videos in about 2 months. I have friends who have been riding for 10-15 yrs and can’t do more than change the oil 😂😂🤣
Jetting yes. However the jd jet kit main point is the custom taper needles. Even with stock jetting his custom needles really clean up throttle response. Also the leak jet and o ring around the linkage to solve the timing issue due to spring tension with the accelerator pump
Point your toes out when you kick! Ripping your shoes on the foot peg, pointing toes out you can avoid the foot peg all together and save your boots and shoes
Dude I just found your channel and your builds are amazing! That KX 250 was awesome when you finish. I’ve flipped some cheap Craigslist finds and this Suzuki looks like a great buy for sure! Lucky find man!
hey man great video! I have a 2009 rmz 450 it idles and runs good most of the time but sometimes shuts off when coming to a stop Do you have any idea what the problem could be?
I have been watching your videos for a while now and they have inspired me to try my own builds, atm i am building a bike and i would like to do more in the future tk flip them but was wondering if u have any advice on how, reallyreally big fan by the way
Cleary I'm really late but what is the book is it Cleary for rmz or suzuki or for all brands or just 450s... I would like to get one is why I'm asking... just bought my first ktm 525 exc & it needs work but I wanna do it myself even if I fail so I'm curious of the book TY in advance
My dads having a problem with his biking dying after 15min of running and it has a noticeable exhaust leak where the muffler meets the header, would that be a possible culprit?
hey i need some help so i put my broken e scooter on facebook market place on trades for a broken dirtbike so its fair and someone offered me a dirtbike, most plastics are gone its 125cc some wires are disconnected and it needs a damaged spark plug according to him he said he also has the plastics and that's everything broken, I have no experience with dirtbikes but I do with electronic wiring, I'm 15 I work on e scooters and e bikes, I have one of both and it may not seem like it but I'm capable of fixing them do you think I should buy it and take the risk?
Man just discovered channel and love it!! You know your stuff brother. Are you self taught or did you go to school? Keep it up and keep twisting the throttle.
Hey man, I don’t know if you still see the comments on these videos, but I’ve got a 2007 RMZ450 that I can’t seem to find the timing marks on. I was told the service manual for timing marks on the flywheel was wrong
Clearly someone went in there, the chain tensionner, bad timing and the shim being on the very loose side, usualy valves will go too tight from being run and not loose. Great vids!
I just picked up a RMZ250 and am wanting to get a newer front end for it. I noticed Acerbis, Polisport, and UFO have different shades of yellow. what brand did you use?
@@KincadePavich I hate the batman type of plastic today, so I picked up a Yamaha OEM 2014 front fender for my 2019 YZ250 2-stroke, (yes, I had to mill in new mounting holes). Oh wait, I picked up 2 of them. Both OEM fenders were twisted very badly, and Yamaha stiffed the dealership because they were not in the original packaging, (to sell to who?). I have a manufacturing and quality engineering degree, and I never thought I would see aftermarket with better quality than a Jap bike OEM part. Outsourced to a 3rd world nation or not, Yamaha had their name on them.
Love all Suzuki dirtbikes..RMs & RMZs! Ride yellow. You stole that sweet bike & def did all the important things to make it highly dependable for buyer. Encourage buyer to install $28 Acerbis hour meter for crucial maintenance! #Maxima
Little by little one project a time! Pretty much bought a bike that needed a little work, fixed it, and kept going until I had done a full rebuild. At that point I knew I could learn anything! Essentially, just go for it. Buy service manuals, watch RUclips videos, and go for it. Good luck!
Bro very nice video, you explained everything to the key loved it. Kind of makes me want to start flipping bike haha. Awesome job! Ps . How long on average did it take you to work on the rm?
Locked up can be very expensive. If it needs a head or valves that can add up quickly. If you want to fix it and ride it you should be able come out pretty well, but if you're trying to make money it's a gamble. In today's market a good running 2006 RMZ450 is worth about $3000 give or take depending where you live. Good luck!
I live at about 5,000', so I pretty much always have to lean bikes out from stock. This was a long time ago, I don't remember how many hours I had into it honestly!
@@KincadePavich It won't be perfect. I would expect that even if it runs, there would be no shortage or pretty worn engine parts. Unless they ride as much as I have had time to,--not much. :)
Hey bro I'm from guyana and I really like dirt bikes but its very very expensive here so can you reply to my comment cause im interested in one of your rebuild.
this guy is the chris fix of the moto world
Wish there were more mechanics like you. Someone who really cares
these early 2000's bikes were SO GOOD I wish more of them would would get this kind of treatment
I bought a 2007 crf450r brand new from the floor. Still has the really front tire and only has about 12 tanks of gas in it. I might sell it.
I recently picked up a 08 yz450f that needs some love. When I’m done with it itl be a new bike.
So true man I’m riding an 07 kx450f carbureted best bike besides the fact that there’s little to no after market support

Welcome to the channel! Thanks for the comment!
Your videos are so thorough. I've been watching for 2 hours now without realizing it. The bike looks new. Outstanding work.
Glad you're enjoying :D
For putting holes in plastic try starting with hot metal rod ,then move up in drill size.Nice work btw and you show a lot of the work
Appreciate it!
step drill is best for plastic.
Finally someone who actually knows how to kick start a bike!!! Nice work man, the bike looks very nice!!!
Thank you!

Nice work to taking the time to clean it back up.
I wish you were my neighbor. I hope I can do a quarter of this stuff at some point. I got a late start, sweet video🤙
You can do all of it. You just have not done it yet.
Hey man, I learned everything I know in the last 4 years on my own! You can learn!
Nice work on finding the problem. 👍
Just 3 things. If it has spark at the right time, enough compression and a good fuel to air ratio---it will run.
Such a beautiful bike I can't wait to get this Big Bad Bastard in my garage 💪 looking awesome Charles
Wrong bike! Hahah
man I know this video is old but I just got one of these and binged this whole video hyping myself up love your work keep it up :)
Awesome to hear!
I love the characteristic whistle the carb bikes made 🥹
Quick tip: instead of buying a jd jetting kit i recommend using a jetting calculator. They are free online and gave perfect jetting.

defiantly earned a sub today !! good video bud!
Where did you learn how to do these adjustments and repairs. Very impressive.
Self taught over the last couple of years!
What do you mean bye riding over 6000 feet with the jet ? Do you have to have a specific jet ?
Great job and looks cool.
After seeing the results using those disc's on the buffer, I'm gonna get some!
I get a small commission if you use my link! They're well worth it! www.prymemx.com/?ref=kincade
what kind of cleaning supply's are you using. I am trying to get into flipping and need something to clean up my bike before i sell.
Its wild i have a new rmz and once you take the plastics off they look almost identical 😂 besides the efi and whatnot
I wish the restyle fit my 2005 rmz 250 looks sick I ordered some parts from pryme mx and love them!

Prior to polishing the frame did you use a scotch Brite pad?
Great how you do it all by hand sanding the frames and parts. Nice 1
Just wondering if you took a Bike mechanic course if you are completely self learnt because you are quite good at taking apart a bike and fixing it up
I don’t know what it is Suzukis are just so fkn beautiful
It is hundreds of years of accumulated engineering and manufacturing knowledge. Isn't amazing what man has done?
