According to Reddit - you press with your body not with tricep. I've had my triceps surgically removed in order to be a lower weight class and to utilize the press optimally!
For a new arm wrestler: focus on building wrist control and arm strength first. The press can be effective but risky for beginners, so practice it carefully. Always warm up and listen to your body to avoid injuries. Start slow and improve your technique gradually 💪
Good explanation here. I only use the flop as 1) in the straps 2) a break glass in case of emergency move. Now, with that said, I would shoulder press/shoulder roll
I'm An Young Arm Wrestler Myself And I'll Try To Give You Some Tips To Counter A Flop Wrist Press. So Before The Go, Get Ready To Supinate, Make Sure Your Supination And Cupping Is Really Strong And Pull Your Opponent Towards You Close And Tight As You Can Using Both Supination/Cupping Wrist And Back Pressure And Quickly Switch To Pronation After. But Be Fast! Plus Everyone Is Different But It Worked For Me In Table Practice Dealing With A Flop Wrist Press. Maybe Give It A Try And Tell Me If There Is Any Difference.
I'm pretty disappointed still no update on the pronator t-shirt it was supposed to be here from November 30th to December 4th and it's still not here like I said I got a message saying that I wasn't going to get that shirt and that it was going to be available until December 1st and I ordered it on November 19th and I've been asking and asking and sending you messages to see what's going on with no reply I paid 30 something dollars and don't get what I ordered or receive good customer service this is not good that shirt was supposed to be for my birthday and my birthday was on the 16th of December and it has passed now and once again more nonsense in this world in my birthday was ruined
Ya but the flop press should should be banned cause guys get an unfair advantage in that the floppers gain several inches off the start due to giving up there hand and it also takes the hand battle largely out of the match. Also its like the inverse of the kings move so... Nope needs to be banned. Also there shouldnt be different techniques colliding as its not uniform enough. There should be multiple different leagues. One for the low hand top roll, one for the different variations of the top roll. A different league for defensive and offensive hook pullers. Gotta clean this sport up and take the damn creativity out of it. You shouldn't get to use what you have to contest a match cause thats just terrible.
Depends on the type of press, position, etc, but in my opinion, if your triceps can't handle the stress in a stretched position, then your press won't be as strong as it could be. The main muscle/joint you feel in the press is the triceps. You're not actively extending the arm, but the muscle being taxed the most is the triceps. Just my opinion.
Both are important. One without the other is weak. Both together are strong, and there are different styles of flop pressing. The most important idea is - there are lots of subtle variations that depend upon different strengths.

Can you pan out to show leg positioning? From the hip up it doesn’t really show body articulation to moving forward.
when i do pronation lift I feel more pain in my outer wrist during the lift is it supposed to be like this?
You're not supposed to feel any amount of pain during any exercise. Consult a doctor if it persists.
I recently lost a match because my opponent used a flop wrist press. Any tips to counter flop wrist press

3:10 I disagree about the main pressing strength coming from the tricep, but this probably come as no surprise
If it comes from bicep and joint lock, then why can't you press just as strong from a palm up supinated position?
@A_Mystery_Man becasue 1) you are open, 2 your shoulder is not behind the arm
