Heck yeah, would love to see the air conditioning install. I know it’s probably been done before but I like the way you tackle and explain things as you (and Jim) work your way through these projects
Hey Lee - Shannon congrats on the up-coming baby !! Lee I'm stoked on anything you post - so heck yeah on the vintage air conditioning install ! Another cool video. That looked like tedious work - bet you're glad that part is over.
Hi Lee and Shannon and Jim too ! Excellent work there guys ! Next weekend is the Rod a Rama in Winnipeg ... busy days ahead for this upcoming week . Look like there's a show winner in this video too ! Have fun guys .
What a great job done on the 59 ford!!!!!! congratulations, I was just thinking that I would like to see a job done on a chevy... what a beautiful chevrolet truck... I imagine it with air suspension, and leather interior... greetings from Argentina...
Yes, it would be interesting to see the Vintage Air kit as I have seen a lot of them and people say they love them, but no one has shown an install. As for the air ride, not something I would do as speed bumps in Ontario are growing up everywhere.
One of the advantages of air ride is being able to get over speed bumps. Hit button 3 and the car instantly raises to a height much higher than a stock suspension.
Install looks great! Would have been a whole lot easier adjusting the ride height sensors of the car if it was on a 4 post hoist. But you got it done never the less!
..hi Lee.....wow...the air ride took that great car to the next level......heck yeah, would luv to see how you make her more comfortable with a vintage air install......oh and how is Shannon doing?....do you guys know about when the new arrival is coming?....
@@LGKustoms My friends used to be the single pump hop champions.... so he knows his stuff. He's old and he's done it all. The car has stock suspension up front and a triangulated four link in the back. I told him I didn't want a hopper or dancer, just a clean and comfortable dependable cruiser. I've driven it everywhere and it drives like a Cadillac. The way he designed my suspension's ride..... it's so nice. The car has never had shocks in it since it got juiced and it rides completely totally stockish comfortable..... you'd never know it's on hydraulics if I didn't specifically point it out. It's got a pumped y block, 5 speed, and stock rear. She's fun. The reason for going with hydraulics for me was adjustable stance.... some times I swap wheels and it has a different vibe. Sometimes I just prefer hydraulics over air. On this car, they're more old school. The problem with Fords when they're slammed down is that oil pan is out front exposed like a bladder. I wanted to shield it (like a GM), but honeslty I've never got around to it. If you need any hard to find parts for that car I've got a source local to me that has a warehouse of old NOS Ford parts. He is strictly 100% correct by the book. He uses ONLY old Ford catalogs and those projector screen diagrams. All his literature and cataloging is old done with oem stuff like an official old Ford dealership would have.
Yes, but it involves a lot of custom work. My truck rides like stock, and is lowered 7”. Z”ing the frame is a good way to achieve this. That’s how I did my truck

Thanks Don
Love to see the air conditioner install
I would watch anything you did with this car Lee. Yes to Vintage Air!
This 59 Galaxy looks almost like the Meteor. The air bags completely change the personality and ride on 59 Galaxy, thank you for this video ❤ it
It sure does!
Yes I believe an air conditioning install would be nice.
Vintage air video. Yes please!

You’ll have to stay tuned to see the truck build! There will be a few videos on it!
@@LGKustoms Yeah!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing! Always interesting!
I’d like to see the A/C install

Yeah, I want to see about the under dash A/C install. I'm considering the same on one of mine.
That is SO SWEET !!
Nice work. Gotta say I love those whitewalls.
Me too! I’ve never seen them before
Yes on the VA unit installation!
The vintage air install should be the next video on this playlist.
Air the hell out gotta love it
What a nice clean setup!
Thanks
Loos awesome. Absolutely show us the A/C setup
Good work, looks like pretty neat air ride system!
wow looks badass man love that air ride
Isn’t it cool?!
Let's see the AC!
Great series
Thanks
That’s one cool cruzer
Yup. I’d drive it
Install looks great! Would have been a whole lot easier adjusting the ride height sensors of the car if it was on a 4 post hoist. But you got it done never the less!
A hoist would be great, but I think my shop is just too narrow. If I had a hoist in that spot, I couldn’t have a car parked in the space beside it.
Vintage air yes please
I have a 57 Skyliner I would love to bag.
I saved all the cut files and notes from this car, so I can duplicate everything if you needed the stuff to do it!
would like to see the A/C go in years ago did some but has been 40 years would like to see how much they have changed
Yes
Please do the A/C install on your channel for the ‘59 Ford.
..hi Lee.....wow...the air ride took that great car to the next level......heck yeah, would luv to see how you make her more comfortable with a vintage air install......oh and how is Shannon doing?....do you guys know about when the new arrival is coming?....
Shannon is doing great! Thanks for asking. Baby is due sometime late May
😂very good job… I like the video
Thanks
ac yessssss
Nice. I have a 57 on hydraulics.
Cool! I’ve never done hydraulics before, but would love to give it a try someday

I also have a 1959 Ford galaxy 500 just like this one and I would love to put in right. How much something like that cost to do?
More content is always enjoyable. So yes to vintage air .👍👍
Cool 😎
Great job guys!
Are you running the original 14in wheels?
Yes, they are the original 14” wheels
With the Accuair system can you adjust what the ride height is for the 1, 2, and 3 settings? Say if you want more forward rake on one setting?
Yes you can program your own set heights. You can also control every bag individual just like with regular air ride or hydraulic systems
Very interested to see the AC install
With a few under your belt now… what is someone looking at cost wise for a full build like this on a 4 dr 59 Galaxie?
Full build? Or full air ride install?
On average most air ride set ups are around $6000 in parts and $5000-$6000 in labor
is there a way to make a lowered car or truck ride as good as stock
Yes, but it involves a lot of custom work. My truck rides like stock, and is lowered 7”. Z”ing the frame is a good way to achieve this. That’s how I did my truck
I'm interested AC
I'll take all the knowledge, please...
