More memories, memories, and memories. This group is not often remembered. I listened to them during the day. They did their thing in music. Great reaction. 👏🎶🎤👍🔥
The video uses the 7" single / radio edit version of the song. The album version has an extra verse.
This song always gets my wife going. She says if you want romance, put this on. ❤
They were destined to be big enough to be remembered. They paid their dues.
Every song on their 1978 and 1979 albums are fantastic.
It's so much fun watching you groove out to a funky sexy song from bygone era of the old folks like me. Keep up the good work. Groove on! Jimmy was a brilliant performer, and a very hard worker, but at the time he was kicked out of the band he was struggling with alcohol and drugs which culminated in liver damage, that was later a big complication to his death from hepatitis, because his liver was already shot.
brings me back to my younger years. Thanks for finding this classic to react to
I was like 7 when this dropped and knew right away I wanted to play bass. Got my 1st bass 3 years later...
Such a great song...so old i had this 45rpm vinyl single! Good stuff, man
Top Pop was a Dutch tv show in the '70 and '80 were all the big artist from all over the world performed 🇳🇱
Some parents and radio stations were appalled by the lyrics when it came out. Some stations refused to play it. Luckily not my parents or the stations I listened to.😂😂
I'm loving the blast from the past 😂Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️
Happy Gilmore sang this trying to speak to his girlfriend through the intercom. But what he gets is an old asian woman
…who left in the morning.😂😳😂
Oh heck yeah!! Loved this song in my younger years. Love it over 40 years later 😊 great reaction ❤
The song was classified as a love banger , panty dropper
OMGosh Man! You have to also listen to Estacy (When You're Laying Down Next to Me) by Barry White! That is crucial. And I never paid attention to the connection until you said it, because the timing for releasing the music you are listening to was in real-time for those of us who lived through these wonderful periods of music. I always loved this tune by Exile also...but listen to Barry White, and Sweet, 'Love Is Like Oxygen '! ❤🙋🏾♀️
Not sure why they don't have a version of the whole song. There's an entire verse missing.
If they had been Australian would have been Kiss you all under?
🤣🤣🤣
@@snakeinthegrass7443 Someone had to ask.
According to wiki, Stokley had nodules on his vocal chords that messed up his voice and he was suffering from hepatitis.
A Wild Hogz reference will get you canceled these days, by me.🤣
I think of Happy Gilmore... but man what a banger of a song
The main singer with the long hair had a wild hair cut! He was the only one getting into. The other guys all looked embarrassed. Great song though. Lots of memories for sure. And another great reaction, friend.
At around 6:00 you were talking about members leaving a band and I agree, but imo if it's a legendary band and every member is a virtuoso in their area and are indispensable to the bands sound, the most def you shouldn't try to carry on. That doesn't happen very often. Zeppelin is the biggest example I can think of and I'm so glad, looking back on it now - I wasn't at the time, that they decided they can not go on without John. Robert was the most outspoken against it, I believe. Then there are bands like Skynyd that I think are still out touring. I don't like that. It's not Skynyrd any longer. I don't even know if there are any original members left. Exile wasn't legendary so if there was one member left, I think I'd be ok with that. And by that, I mean, I would go and see them. I believe Skynyd is coming to my area this summer, not positive, but I'm not gonna spend that kind of money when practically everybody is no longer even with us.
I agree with you about Jimmy getting kicked out for his health issues. I mean, it wasn't something he had any control over. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Jimmy's voice was bound to get any woman to drop the panties. Hahaha. It's a Timeless Classic song, for sure. RIP Jimmy.
