İ've just returned from a conference over the weekend with Persian speakers, most of thr participants are from Afghanistan, some from İran. Your lessons have helped İ a lot! İ can't read the text in arabic script, but İ was able to understand some things during the conference and many people were so kind and taught İ some words.
One thing that blew my mind is how some of they say "mire" instead of "meravad". But that's just a rather extreme case.

You are the best man! Keep it up. I love all ur videos. You should sometimes take your brother and make videos on the streets of Tajikstan. Go talk to ppl ask them English words, ask them about like American movies, music, movie stars, sports. And Also talk in English with Tajik subtitles so your students can watch it. Show ppl ur city and fan things to do there. You will get a lot of views.

I'm from iran, and in 2024, i want to learn your alphabet. Because basically we bouth are persian and tajiki is so close to farsi.

Salom @tempehmendoan. Tajiki, Farsi in Iran, and Dari in Afghanistan are very similar but they are not exactly the same. Tajik is a modern Persian language spoken in Central Asia. It is closely related to Dari, the standard language of Afghanistan, and Farsi, the official language of Iran.
Tajiki is not only spoken in Tajikistan. In Afghanistan, Tajiks are the second largest people group after the Pushtun. There are also large groups of Tajiki-speakers living in the Tajik regions of Uzbekistan-Samarkand, Bukhara, the Ferghana valley, and the Surkhondaryo and Sirdaryo districts-and also in some parts of Kirghizstan and Kazakstan.

@@tempehmendoan We, Tajiks, can understand most of what Iranians say, but they have more trouble understanding us. So I'd say it's not like American and British English.
Ahh, ok ok, so Tajik is a variety of Persian,,? like varieties of Roman languages... Latin with Italian, Spanish, French,? And Tajik is a single language? cause I searched on wikipe..a and there it was explained that Tajik is a variety of Persian..But Why do so many people still misunderstand the Tajik language?
@tempehmendoan Imagine Persian as a big mango tree. Tajik, Dari, and Farsi are like branches on that tree. They're all connected and come from the same source, but they've also grown a bit differently over time.
Tajik: Spoken in Tajikistan, uses Cyrillic alphabet.
Dari: Spoken in Afghanistan, uses modified Arabic alphabet.
Farsi: Spoken in Iran, uses modified Arabic alphabet.
While they have some differences, people speaking these languages can usually understand each other. They're like cousins on the same mango tree, sharing a lot but not identical.
Yes, Tajik is generally considered a single language with its own standardized form, used in education, media, and official communication within Tajikistan. But still it's close to other Persian varieties. In Tajikistan, there's a strong emphasis on promoting Tajik as a distinct language separate from Persian due to national identity and historical factors.
People are confused because the branches look similar, but not completely the same.
