I love how you take “Metal-oriented” guitars a demonstrate just how musical and versatile they can be. Obviously, those are loud, in-your-face pickups, but can be tamed with the talent and the right touch!
Yowsa!! That’s a gorgeous rock machine. It’s got a superb rock tone. That finish is just spectacular. The intro was phenomenal. It definitely brought out your inner EVH - off the charts Jon 👍😄😄😄👏👏

Schecter just keep making highly desirable must have guitars. That shade of blue is stunning, as is Jonathan's playing. Another model to save up for, how far away is Christmas?
Hello Jonathan, your guitar playing is already so amazing and inspiring for me, but the recording and mixing quality of your sound demos are also just outstanding and jaw-dropping. Please could you consider introducing us in a somehow dedicated video on this topic to some basic mixing principles and techniques that you apply to get this fully arranged but yet cristal clear sound quality that I really also appreciate so much, each time I discover another one of your sonic masterpieces??? Best regards from Andy (in France) :)
Ha thanks Jonathan for reviewing this guitar. Mine is on the way. Looking forward to plugging in to the Marshall. You are the man, sir.... thanks for being a humble and informative guy. I appreciate you very much. Happy Thanksgiving!!
Good morning Jonathan, I thought I'd drop by and see how things are going for you. We recently did a review of our first ever Schecter. It was the Demon 6. We reviewed it on your birthday (Dan gave you a shout out). I really liked it. I have never seen a video of yours that I didn't like. You are pretty fantastic. Dan and I both feel that way. Beautiful guitar and your playing is stellar as always.
Schecter makes some of the best guitars out there. People think they are Metal guitars only, but they would be wrong. Schecter has semi-hollow bodies, start style, and of course Metal guitars. They are made really well, and they have great modern appointments like the carbon fiber binding on this PT. If you have never tried one of the Hellraiser models, do yourself a favor and try one.
Hi Jonathan. That’s a really nice guitar. I like Schecter PT guitars, I would love to get one for myself. I love the t style guitar shape & really love that finish, so nice 👍
Wow...just waking up 6.am...to be greeted by this beauty and a master musician playing it....ok that's my breakfast....only disappointment is there is no case...schecter cases are expensive
I know what it can do for metal. But what else can it do? Thank you for this tasteful demo. You sold one more PT-7. Do the pick ups work passively as well, without batteries?
Hi I got this guitar after watching this video like 20 times and I love Blackstar amps not that your using one in this video My question is are you using a compressor to balance out this beast Great video! Thanks for posting
My next guitar is DEFINITELY going to be Schecter PT….not sure which model…they’re all so awesome…the all black with the cream binding with the super rock 2 pick ups is what I’m leaning towards….now need $, lol
Hey man, just discovered your channel and loving your content. In redible playing aswell. Do you know if this guitar has stainless steel frets? Thanks mate. P.s greetings from the UK
Excuse me Sir Jonathan... I want to ask a question, which one have more comfortable neck between this Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid PT and Ibanez RG with Wizard III neck? I'm really conflicted whether to buy this one or the new Ibanez High Performance series... Thank you so much before, good day to you Sir!!
I've been a intermediate too beginner level guitar player and buyer for a while been thinking about a.chapman redsea model as my first gig or pro level.guitar based on mostly aesthitic but after watching and hearing this I'm considering shoveling out the few extra hundred or so for this beautiful lady , love ultra violet or purple and violet guitars and this is truly a hybrid of so many cool aspects ! People chapman ml1 red sea or this schecter hellraiser hybrid ?
Jon's demo was the all that I needed for a final push into one of these! Thank you!! I found one used locally, needed a setup but now its running great! The side dots should glow, but don't, and I don't care. Love the feature set: 24 fret, one vol/one tone, pickup selector rocker switch (vs blade), set neck, interesting finish... I'm plan to install Fralin P92's (hum cancelling humbucker sized P90's) Until then, its a great player! I going to wear those frets down and maybe one day install stainless.
I have the Shecter Hellraiser with a Floyd. Quite a nice guitar. Mine has a sustaniac. Which is very fun. 🙂Neck pickup a bit less awesome because of that, but well.... it is a bridge-pickup kinda guitar, anyway. ^^ Mine is boring black, though. Not this blue-purple color. And oh... mine does have stainless steel frets. Sure this one does not?
'these pickups are not your grandmother's pickups' hahaha! 🤣 'made to irritate..... ' great descriptions. Not a guitar for me but really nice all the same. Nice review too

Nice description lol .. thank you William ✌️❤️

“…made to irritate people”. That may be the greatest compliment ever given to those pups. 😂

I can’t help you.. have not played on an Ibanez RG yet ✌️❤️
What backing track did you use in this playthrough please, if I may ask? Really enjoyed it!
02 Southern Rock Jam Track (Key D5) Available from Itunes..✌♥
I have the S style version of this guitar, I love it more than my custom Keisel.
Nice!!✌️❤️
@yopeople70 That's real reassuring to know. I have only just discovered it and am in love!

Mine does!

Love the ultra violet colour, much prefere the sustaniac modded hellraiser c1 fr., That is a beast.
✌🤓
Not your grandmother's pickups. Made to irritate people. Now, I must have it.
Lol✌️❤️
👍
✌️❤️
Hmm. EMG 57/66 is supposed to be push/pull according to EMG.

Lol.. I’m sorry if I offended any grandmothers out there!! 🥹✌️❤️
Nice looking but tonally I don't think it offered very much beyond shred. Guess I will pass on this one. Glad you reviewed it.
✌💙
How much does it weight?!? Curious minds want to know 😊
It should be stated in the video ✌🏻
i wonder if pete townsend gets pissed off about them calling these things "PTs"
its kind of an implied endorsement while not being a real endorsement
I think maybe there was an agreement...✌💚
No stainless steel frets :(
well....✌♥
Dude try to find Esp Eclipse 87 telebody shape for a vid
✌🤓
I'm about to get this or a Ibanez RG Iron Label. Still on the fence.
✌️❤️
