This guy seriously said "This kit comes with everything you need to make it work, but you have to buy some items separate", twice.
He's saying it doesn't come with a button or power wires. Said it twice so you were aware that it works out the box, but to install it you'll need ______
The horn “works” using just what’s in the box. A custom install in your vehicle requires additional parts like longer wires and an on/off switch. Not hard to understand for most people
Show us the little alien under your hat that controls your body with little levers and knobs.
Ive got a 24 Chevy extended Express Cargo van and putting one these horns in soon.. i suspect i will be mounting compressor and air tank in the rear and hopefully fit horns uder hood.. I live in Cape Cod so this is a necessary device to install with tourist doing 15mph below speed limit.. I Can't wait to give them the proper send off..
Am I missing something? Never even heard the horn other than a blip. What is the point? Just to watch you tear your car apart and put it back together. Thumbs down. PFFFFffffffttt
My thoughts exactly.....you missed the boat on this one pal, or is it the train.
Thanks - didn't have to watch it because that's what I came here for.
Never explained the most important part, the wiring. SMH!
ok but how does it sound from the outside
Like shit
Sounded "cute" to me.
This is a squeaker not a train horn.
If you change the hose for a air compresor hose it will sound waaaaay louder
Thankx for the tip what size hose do you recommend??
Yea wouldn’t some compression be lost through leaking and expansion with that hose
i loved this vid this is exactly what i was looking for I've been wanting to put a train horn on my car for a while now but i just didnt know how to do it and i didn't want to get rid of the og horn so thx so much
Anytime you run any length of wire from battery you should put an inline fuse at the battery end just in case of a short. The fuse should be sized to protect the size wire you run.
Nice, just got me one
Awesome!
Its nice to have when other people don't know how to drive! lol
driver texters and just stop oil protesters are the reason i'm installing one of these
Hey. Where did you get this horn from??? Thank you an thank you for your timely response
Why did u show the outside sound
That +12 volt supply has very weak insulation and if it arcs onto the frame you will get a fire. Maybe run it inside some spiral wrap or conduit, and power it via a solenoid next to the battery. Now it's a long length of live +12v.
Those wires do look pretty small I got the unit I ran a bigger one like he did
I put this EXACT one on my car yesterday
Do you have a sound clip. I dont want to sound like a semi i want to sound like a train
How is this working for everyone? My compressor/tank are located under the hood up high. No moisture or anything. After a month, the piston in the pump snapped off the cam. I bought a new one and installed it. Pumped up to 60 psi and......SNAP! Brand new one snapped. These are too cheap for me. Returning.
You didn’t even show where you put the horn???
You didn't talk about the wiring of the horn itself they're not labeled negative or positive I'm guessing it doesn't matter? It was a lot harder to install the horn without taking apart I wish I would have seen that before that point. Like a typical man I lost the instructions so that probably told me the wire polarity issue 🤣
Can i wire the compressor power with my amp power wire? And ground?
Yes
I put one in my 2006 civic!
Can you send me a pic of the wiring instructions. I have one identical to yours but lost the instructions.
Bra you rollin a Ford, shi I thought you was ballin
Ballin? shit I don't even make $100 a month off this lol
The reason your sick is because you been putting magic potions in your body. just stop doing that damn it. Just stap it
I’m probably gonna buy one for my truck and wire it up to the main horn because my horn doesn’t work anymore
Can you explain how to do that? I like that ideal.
I’ve wired everything up but my button doesn’t do shit when I press it a damn 1,000 dollar setup for nothing
Connect the power wire or put the fuse in
This video was a complete waste of time. Still have no idea how they sound!
You did all that and didn't even really show off the sound of it? That was the main reason I watched this was to hear what the Vevor actually sounds like adter install.
Very poor video...
What's up with every single one of these damn videos with train horns not showing what it sounds like show what it sounds like!
Waisted video, you don't show anything about hooking up the wiring. Very stressful.
I don’t believe it is loud like train horn.
I have the exact same one on my car, it's loud
did bro die
how does it sound tf, all that was a waist
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
@@Smackalakin Did you even see what he wrote?
@TheRailfan360 If you just wanted to hear the end result or how it sounds it was at the beginning.
