      He immediately got off the squat rack and went and hit a 2300lb leg press with good depth for 8 reps 😂

      I’ve also seen one where he talks about herniating a disc during a squat (not this one). He said it sounded like a gunshot but he kept going. Unbelievable what he was able to put his body through.

      You mean snap? Its ugly if it happens but the type of steel is too hard to bend.. flex yes but wont crease it will snap and half a barbell with 400 solid ass pounds swinging it both directions will take out pretty much whatever it hits and or lands on.

    Ronnie said he didn't really have many regrets in life.. even after all his surgeries he dosent regret lifting weights. His one regret and he has mentioned it a few times was not hitting this for another two reps. He regrets stopping at 2.

      @borisjohnson246 yeah, don't misunderstand, I think it's sad that they take it this far. His is an especially heart-wrenching case. But it is, nevertheless, his choice. I can respect his freedom and drive and disagree with the specifics of the lifestyle. Lots of people that we look upon as "great" kept horrible habits. They were still able to achieve great things. Lifestyle habits are tricky because even something like smoking cigarettes does have measurable improvements in some functions, but it is still overall a bad idea to smoke.

      Make no mistake about it Big Ron did not destroy his body lifting during these years, yes the shearing loads and excessive compression from training so heavy while dieting down for shows took a toll... it was however the eager surgeons that cut on his body and added hardware like screws and rods again and again because of shit procedures that ruined his body... he was in a place that physiologically could have been salvaged through proper treatment modalities.
